Hey guys, I just flashed over to jellybam and so far its pretty tight. The only issue I came across was my camera. Everytime I hit the icon to bring it up it says that I have no sd card and closes me right out of it. I am currently using a 8gb sd that is fine and not sure what the issue is.

Yeah, back the files up on your pc/laptop. In storage options, it'll allow you to format the SD Card.

ok well before I do that, I am looking through the settings and I do not even see a place where I can format a sd card. Where would I do this?

What happens when you try and connect as a disk drive via usb to your cpu?

it only says sd card: mount usb storage.
its not even reconizing it. I cant even connect it to pc to back up files(even tho I have alt methods)

Hey,
I'm unable to access the SD card via any form once im booted into the ROM.
I can view the SD card in CMW and read from it.
The SD card is accessible via a USB cable when unmounted.
I have flashed the phone with several different ROMs.
I have formatted the SD card
I have tried different SD card
All have the same result, unable access when in the ROM.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Any idea on how to troubleshoot further or ideally, anyone know a fix?

Apologies, Currently I'm using CM7, however i have attempted to use Aura and Gingerblur with the same result.
i too am having the same issue. i am on whatever teh official .91 is. phone is unlocked/rooted. no special rom here yet. about to flash ninja .04.....
just curious if there is any fix out there that tells the phone to use it....
no one else experiencing this?

some more info, if I attempt to mount SD card in CM recovery I get the following error:
E: Unable to write to ums Iunfile (No such file or directory)
The external SD card in CM7 is at mnt/emmc not mnt/sd-ext.

i have flashed a few miui v4 roms and i think they have messed up my external sd card settings or something along the line.
now i'm back on a gb rom, i see the sd card when the phone is up and running but if i try to flash from cwm 4.0.1.5 it doesn't see mmy external card ?
do you guys have any idea how to sort this out ? i want to say that this sd card has always worked fine on this device, it's just now that cwm doesn't see it.

Format the card & see if the phone recognises it. If not, faulty card given you're running stock & the card should be visible to the phone/working fine if the card is good/not faulty.

the phone does recognise the card but if i reboot into cwm then it disappears.
at the moment i'm not running stock but battista foxhound 3.0 rom.
i tried to format but no joy...this card has always been seen in cwm but now not anymore. ????????????

Have you tried mounting it in CWM?
yes, but it doesn't even give me the option to choose zip file from eternal sd card only from internal sd card

What version CWM recovery are you on?
I meant, if you go to the Mounts and Storage menu, does it have an option for mounting or unmounting /sdcard? If so, does it say mount, or unmount? If it says mount, then you have to mount it in order to use it.
4.0.1.5 and yes there is mount, i mount it, go back to choose zip from sd card.....and there's no internal card detected....if i boot in the system i can see it with file explorer or the likes...it's just cwm not seeing it

Hmm. I've not used 4.x.x.x in quite some time.
I'm using 5.0.2.7. For me, anything that refers to "sdcard" is the external card. "internal sdcard" is the built in flash memory. And as it turns out, I didn't even have to mount /sdcard to use either.

How did you get 4.0.1.5 installed? Maybe it's time to upgrade.

Easiest way is to flash a kernel that comes with it. I'm using Siyah. Just search for it.

I'm unable to access the memory on the phone. When I double click the folder on the computer it says unable to access disk drive. Please help.
Check to see if its accessible from the phone with a file explorer of your choice. If not you may need to reformat the drive from the phone settings menu.

I'm using MeanRom. Found a way to use the internal storage and both of sd cards. once you plug in the phone select media sync, done. then double click on evo icon on the computer and both internal storage in sdcard will show up.

Hi there. I have a few questions // concerns.
First off, I just went from Scott's ROM to the (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ RAGE ROM found here. I followed the instructions on how to install as I'm S-ON (3x wipe all, flash rom, hboot image.boot, etc.) and everything was working great. Now it is telling me that my SD card is damaged -- click to reformat. I did that and it still had the error. I attached the device to my computer as a disc drive and I noticed I ONLY saw the SD card (no HTC Internal storage like I used to on Scotts).
I did what any logical man would do -- I removed the SD card and restarted the phone. The phone still says that the SD card is damage...
What gives?
Astro//ES Explorer said emmc was empty -- when I went to write a folder to it it didn't allow me.
I'm hoping this is something easy to fix/explain. Please help me out if you can.
When I go in to Recovery and hit USB-MS and toggle internal SD card (while the device is plugged in to my computer) I can see the contents of HTC Storage where I couldn't before.
But there's no way to keep this active, is there? Recovery only says press power to disable and return to menu and that's the only button that works.

There is. Once you have that mounted, and after you've backed up that data to your PC, use the PC to format the drive you mounted to FAT32. That should fix the problem.

Formatted to FAT32 like you said, rebooted phone and it is still saying damaged SD card

Sorry to hear that. At this point all you can do is flash back to sense to fix the mount issue. Then try aosp again

It's NP -- flashing back to sense is easy, but how do you fix the mount issue?
it sounds like a firmware issues. did you go from GB to ICS?
Actually Neo is right. I had the same issue on that rom. Flashing back to a sense rom then going into recovery mounting usb formatting as fat32, then unmount, wipe everything basically giving me a fresh start then reflashing a AOSP fixed that issue for me

When it got to the home screen it said my SD card may be corrupted and asked me to format. I hit yes and nothing seemed to happen but I no longer got the error. I switched back to a 4.2 rom and it says my internal memory is 95% full and my SD card has 16 gb free. Before this happened it was split between the two so internal wasn't nearly as full. How do I get it back like that?

go to setting-applications-manage apps- and here you will get the list of apps installed on every app there will an option to move to sd do that

when connecting with a you should select sd card option when the usb interface comes on phone otherwise it will never work the best is try any card reader
