Hey there dev's and users...sorry to bother...
i've noticed that SE xperia mini, mini pro, active, live with walkman have the same cpu/gpu/ram as xperia arc/ray/play but they have lower screen res...
sooo....
if you use a game which is built for arc/ray/play it would run on the lower res devices but some buttons/options wouldn't be able to be used because of the screen resolution...
is there any way to fix the apk of the game so it could be used in the lower res devices?
because those games aren't available for our devices normally...

no games' resolution cant be changed but there is a way to change the screen density of your phone.Once i accidentally changed my screen density my phone was completely destroyed so i wouldnt suggest you to try it.If you want to though try googl-ing -> android screen density tool or somethin like that
Change the screen resolution dpi in build.prop. needs root. Apps on market will also do it for you

Hi, all!
I have JXD s7100B and when I changed custom bootscreen (only the last one. I can't find others to change them ), because there was a circle on the boot image, I've noticed that the image is deformed - when turned to lanscape mode it is "squished" verticaly. After that I've noticed the same with the icons on the launcher - however I rotate the screen shorter side is squished. I have an idea that maybe display is not WVGA (800x480pix) like it's set (and sold) but a WVGA NTSC (854x480) so I would like to change 800 to 854 somehow but leave 480 and dpi. I've searched forum and net and 90% of posts are changing dpi with LCD Resolution app or by editing build.prop but nothing I found says anyting about what I want to do. I found some resolutions in /system/bin/set_display_mode.sh but I've decided to ask first if someone knows what I should do. Can you help me? Can I change one dimension with some app or by editing some file?
hi all i want to know that what is the benefit of changing dpi od screen. i checked lcd density modder but i m afraid will it help in savind battry of yes then how??
No it does not help you save battery. It lets you see more things at once by making everything smaller. It is a "high res" effect.
Hey I Have Ported A Rom to My Device Having Rosolution of 240 x 320 But Now ported rom's app drawer not fitting to screen and lock screen not at center .
i there is any way to fix it ?
try increasing or decreasing the DPI just add ro.sf.lcd_density= (watever dpi you want) check you stock ppi just third party apps like cpuz or anythings reliable
in your case your case you wanna reduce the size of the app drawer try decreasing the DPI value from stock so lets say if you have a dpi of 200 at stock get it down to 180 dpi or still big then 160 dpi reduce it till you think the app drawer fits your screen perfect you will have problems with the dialer just ask for help about it even i could not figure out how to resize the dialer
how can i change dpi or screen resolution of android
Root + DPI changer app. This can break some things. On some phones it can cause bootloops.
