Data only mode? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

Is there a way to put my N2 in cdma or lte only mode? Or a way into a programming menu like the ##778 on my old Incredible?

Adding "GSM" Option on a CDMA rom?

Is it possible to add a GSM or WCDMA options into a rom? I ported the VZW HTC Thunderbolt rom to HD2 (yah i'm crazy) but if I go into *#*#INFO#*#* , there are only LTE, CDMA, etc options and I don't get any signal. Replacing the Phone or Phoneprovider from another rom doesn't help.
Could a possible solution be to manually disassemble the phoneprovider apk and then add the extra options into it?
anyone?
.
Philip Mangelow's "Network" app allows you to switch to GSM (it really just lets you access a device menu). I don't know whether that would be enough, especially because the changes don't seem to persist over a system restart.
I have already tried that app, and it does give me any extra options, unfortunately..

[Q] Stock on 4.0.4 and no "cdma only" in network mode

A friend of mine just got a droid razr, updated it to 4.0.4 and is telling me that under the network mode option menu there is no "cdma only"..just "LTE/cdma and global", she is in an area that has 4G and doesnt want it on bc of battery drain. Anyone else know of this glitch or how to turn 4G off? Thank you.
this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.andirc.lteonfoff&hl=en
Thank you, she was able to use a toggle app earlier but I still am confused as to why "cdma only" is missing from the network mode menu. It doesn't make sense..

Probably Verizon's way of forcing people to use more data.

[Q] Voice from GSM and data from CDMA - Is it possible?

Hello!
I have Droid Incredible 4G LTE, and want to setup it to have voice calls over GSM, and data over CDMA (EVDO Rev.A).
Is that possible? I already did S-OFF and I can flash all settings through DFS (actually, already flashed it myself to CDMA data and voice), so if someone knows how to achieve what I need - please, help.
Thanks.
I myself want to achieve the same thing using Verizon GS3, let's hope someone has a solution here.

Sprint google voice integration alternative to svlte? or dialer code for lte

I have never used google voice before. I know that Sprint has a google voice integration. Is there a way to use the google voice integration to avoid being disconected from lte when a call comes in?
If not possible is there a setting in the dialer code that would enable lte to stay on and avoid calls temporarily?
If anyone is interested I found the way to have uninterupted data while on lte. I used an app in the play store named "lte settings". I use it to set the radio to lte only. The only drawback is that no calls or sms or able to get through while it is in this mode. it is easy to switch back and forth. I use it if I am downloading or using tether and do not want a call to disconnect me.

This application looks pointless. You can just as easily access this menu by going into your phone and pressing *#*#4636#*#*. This allows you to change the phone to LTE Only, CDMA + LTE/EVDO, etc. It also lets you force your phone to search on a given frequency, such as Cellular, PCS, or Secondary 800 MHz.
Just for the record, the Sprint version will NEVER be able to do SVLTE or SVDO. Don't ask. It simply cannot be done unless you use VoIP software. The hardware on the Sprint version cannot do more than one type of connection, as in either it has LTE, CDMA or EVDO.

No secret codes work for verizon stock so that app is far from pointless...
Those of us in a new aws area would want to change to lte only to test it out or if we needed it data only.

How do you change to LTE Only, CDMA + LTE/EVDO in the ##4636 settings? Also how do you force it to search on a certain frequency?

PRL Modification & Force Roaming

I've searched topics for days and nothing seems to work for the Sprint Galaxy S6....
The problem: In some buildings/locations, my Sprint signal is unusable, but it's not weak enough to roam. I would like to either change my PRL to a custom one that uses say Verizon, or have a way to force the phone to roam when data isn't flowing.
I used to use the app Roam CTRL to force the phone to roam, but it does not work on the S6 Edge.
I tried the ##DATA# menu to change the PRL, but there is no PRL Write option in my version. There was a MOD here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2262450
that added PRL Write to the DATA menu on S4's, but this didn't work on my S6. It actually broke the DATA menu, but luckily I had a backup of the apk.
I could use the CDMADevTerm windows program to write a PRL to the phone (haven't tried it, but I do have my MSL) but I want something that I can do on the fly when I'm away from the computer.
Any other ideas/solutions?
