I have an app that connects via bluetooth, I am looking for an app that can let it connect over wireless instead of bluetooth, some sort of dummy bluetooth pairing that then goes over wireless. Anyone know if this exists?
Impossible. They're 2 separate radios using completely different technology. It's like trying to play a cd in a cassette tape player.

You can play a CD in a cassette player..
I am not looking for something that actually uses bluetooth and wifi, but that can make the app think its using bluetooth, but actually sent the data via wifi.
It is an app that connects to a car ECU via bluetooth.

Hey guys could you help me out here? we recently got miui on our devices! its awesome! but there are some problems with the qhd display the icons in folders seem like they are too high up and also when there is no album artwork for a song the cd seems to be positioned to the left instead of being centered. and these are problems that are still present even after installing extended settings. Ill put up some screenies so you guys can see what I'm talking about. but do you guys notice these problems and if so is there a fix for it?

those issues exist on our miui too. I can't friggin wait until miui natively supports qHD.

For the album art problem look in the settings in the music app that says something like use native album art.

Has anyone tried this? I'm not unlocked, so I would have to copy all the files in manually. Which I don't mind doing if somebody can verify that it works on the prime. I don't want to be not seeing something, and get my prime into a jam I can't recover from with a locked bootloader. Thanks.

why would you want to install what are just glorified equalizer settings?
just get an alternate music app (poweramp comes to mind) and tailor the equalizer to your own tastes.
I have EVO 3d and have beats implemented to kernel level, but it ONLY works in HTC music player, so I dont think you can just copy some files from HTC rom and make it works.

I like how there's a high qaulity setting and then a beats setting ahahahahah.
audiophiles should get a kick out of that lol.
We're distracted enough out there on the road as it is...last thing we need are a few thousand Android geeks looking at their phones to see if they have LTE. Or worse yet, toggle settings while cruising to get that fleeting glimpse of a not-ready-for-primetime LTE signal.

Ummm, u need to be more precise. But, yes it is capable. U need jellybean or a rom that has google now in it. There's also Iris which is a beta siri clone. Google Now is really cool though. Impressed my friend this morning when I thought I had my phone off and must have pressed the voice search thing.
But it heard me ask my friend when does daylight savings start and it started talking from my pocket, so I pulled my phone out and it was still talking but had a card saying November 4, 2012.
Pretty cool, nice coincidence too, lol.

Okay I just answered my own question. I use the adapter from my old Samsung Infuse the MHL adapter USB to HDMI and it worked. It does not mirror the display it goes into a hub to watch videos, photos, music, or YouTube.

Well you can with a Miracast dongle, but I am not sure where to get one of those yet... or if they even have them for sale anywhere.
I hit the home icon to exit out of the Hub, and played Netflix, and other apps just fine through the MHL adapter. Not sure about SNES emulator....

Smart share is just like media share though right? So it only plays certain content not actual apps?
