Has anyone found a solution to why the HTC Sync Manager or HTC Sync arent working?
Ive done a bit of searching and nothing is working for me. HTC Sync wont even recognize my LTE as being connected... Kinda pissing me off now.

the evo lte needs sync manager not sync. here is where you can find the latest sync manager... http://www.htc.com/www/software/htc-sync-manager/

and what im saying is that neither of them are working. Ive tried Sync Manager and since it didnt work Reverted back to trying Sync.. Still not working.

I am also having a time with this. I've noticed it only works on certain roms, so there must be something removed or switched off or something on the rom's that do not sync. 1 thing I've noticed is it seems to always work on odexed roms. Still searching the web....

I switched to rEVOlted by Swagster aka (SOS creator) and now its working. Must be a tweak on some MeanBean Roms

Just tried OMJ deodex and it's working. Had been using his odex rom and it works on that one too. Couldn't get it to work on Bad Seed. Too bad cause it's a cool rom with a lot of mods.

Out of all the sense apps, the one I wanted is missing. Geotagging is kinda boring without something to manage the location data, and footrprints seems to do a good job of it. Why didn't it make it to espresso?
Is there a way of getting it on the new mytouch since it has htc frameworks?

Is there a reason it should? Is there anything special about this version? I tried pushing a copy from the latest evo rom and that didn't work, and installing it doesn't work either.
it installs just fine but it FC's after that. It just won't work. I guess there is something missing in the framework?
Maybe I've over looked it and if I have I apologize but what ever happened to HTC's offline navigation from the desire hd

Haha, wow I completely forgot about that feature. They showed it off like it was going to be the next best thing. I wonder what happened to it.
yeah the whole HTCSense.com thing they made a big deal about and i just realized now that I dont show my EVO3D when I log into that site. Used to work fine when it was ported over to the EVO4G.
EDIT:
I deleted my account since I couldn't change the device from the one i created with the EVO4G port rom way back when. When creating a new one I found it odd that they even offer the ability to select the EVO3D as your device but you can't even set it up b/c you need the ability to sign into HTCSense from your device which we can't evidently since its not there in the setup to begin with.....WTF???
Yeah i was thinking about this feature and forgot about it.... Looks like htc did too lol.

yeah thats what im on the original OTA xHausx one posted. They are in the accounts and sync but when you redo setup like htcsense.com asks you to do, you dont get an htcsense.com page to log in.
on a side note im continuing to show there is an update for htcwatch, but ONLY when I view it under the htc hub apps page. I dont have it in the notification pulldown at all and when i select update it updates it fine but whenever i go back to see the app in htc hub it shows theres an update for it.
Keep in mind I dont have anything blocked here and have all the htc/sprint spy stuff still on it since im only on the stockrooted one xhausx originally put up. real odd behavior since it acts fine and says update is there but not in the notification pulldown.
Also noticed i can't connect to the HTC Sense server right now for some reason. opening up HTC Likes app from the app drawer gives me the "unable to connect to the HTC Sense server. please try again later." message. Guess they might be doing work on it b/c i have full connection here fine....would explain why i couldn't get it to work on htcsense.com earlier too i guess.
BUT, i can go to accounts&sync and have HTCSense sync both HUB and Sense fine...
I'm not sure what is OP's question about it. I have offline Navigation on my Rogers EVO 3D. I read that it is a 30-day trial, but I didn't see anything like that when I use it.

Hmm, I know my maps work offline, Google Maps or HTC keeps them somehow. I wonder where its being stored?
Kill your data connection & then open Maps, it works.
Any1 has it working on Amaze 4g? I am currently using version 1.6 of xboarder's latest creation. And it hot reboots when trying to use it.
I am specifically talking about the widget itself.
I used it a lot on my DHD and really missing it.
If any1 has managed to get it to work on that particular rom, please let me know how

Managed to get footprints working by installing the signed footprints lib files.
Cant get the widget working for footprints or locations :_(
If any1 is interested, the reason because footprints and locations widget does not work, apparently is the framework.
Have no idea how to fix it but managed to get the apps working by freezing, uninstalling and flashing the signed zip lib files then reinstalling the apps.
Locations runs but it says that the phone has no location files on the sdcard and needs to update, tries to connect to server but no success.
Footprints, runs just good enough.
If, by any chance, any dev can check it out for me, I would really appreciate it.

Xboarder seems to be trying to separate himself from XDA. Try going to android-dev.us/index.php that seems to be his new home.
i am trying to install HTCLaputa.apk in a TMobile stock rom. It won't run without system permissions. There is no way for me to sign it with the HTC manufacture key. I am stuck at this point.

I am currently trying to add HTC Footprints and HTC Locations to my Desire HD with the IceColdSandwich rom 7.3.
I'm using the files from this thread, apparently they were pulled from sense 3.5.

Anyone having issues using Chrome to Phone after updating to new RUU? Mine doesnt work at all even after I reinstalled it.
how did u reinstall it? did u use Titanium back up? if you did then just deactivate and then re-activate with you google account and it should work

Im running Nils Business ICS v3.2 .. I uninstalled and reinstalled on computer and phone still no workie!!!!!!!
do u use multiple google accounts? make sure its the right one... i have had that problem before

If you have changed phones or roms numerous times Google for some reason after so many different phones or roms has a hard time recognizing the phone. I got this off of a lengthy article about this exact problem. I have changed phones and roms so many times I have the same issue. I just use Linkpush, works great.

I don't know if anyone posted this but I got the S-Voice working on my rezound. Here is the apk from my dropbox if you would like to try it out. I'm s-on with the first ics update. I don't think it will run on gb.

One thing I did notice if you try and change what to say to it to wake it up you will get force closes. To fix I went into the app and cleared cache then force closed it. Opened it back up and went through the tutorial and it worked fine.

Isn't there already an app that does this pretty good? Had it awhile back and didn't use it enough to keep on the phone, and I don't mean IRIS, I mean one that was just not as "personal".
To get it working properly I had to pull the libsvoxtts.so out of the apk and push it to system/lib. Rebooted
It made the S Voice stop FC on my Rezound running RezROM ex 3.4

I've had no problem with it. I am running the first leaked ICS and s-on. Everything on it has so far worked for me. From the navigation to making phone calls. All I did was install the apk from the Samsung Note post about it and bam no problems. Well the only problem I did have was when I tried to change the name you say to wake it up it would force close on me. So I went in to the app and cleared cached data and hit the force close button. Restarted it and it worked fine once I figured that out.

Maybe running a rom or S-Off you will have to do what the other guy did about pushing files to the system\app folder but I didn't.

What I did was go into settings then apps clear the cached data and hit the force close button then restart it. That fixed it for me.
