Hi guys, need little help here,
Santa gave mi daughter a new nabi 2. So far she liked a lot but i do want to gave her a better experience on her tablet,
Nabi mode is good but need more, i just open to mi child a new @live account so she can email me her mom and her grandparents but i notice no notification area on nabi mode, also i want to remove those homescreen university kid app and the paid subscription apps but i cant, My daughter will be 10yr in few days and for her birthday i want to give her full acces to android mode,
Can i delet all nabi mode related interface and keep it just an pure android tablet, i notice in settings that nabi mode is an app so i will bi fine if i just unistall it, also what else i need to uninstall to stay still on android interface
Thanks, sorry if im on the wrong subforum but this site is so big i didnt know where to post,
have you logged in to parent mode then -settings/Security and put a tic in"Set Parent Mode as default mode".
this lets the tablet boot in to parent mode automatically.
before for you Remove anything from the tablet make sure you seach and read good .
HTH
Yes i do parent mode as default. But i still want to remove what is not going to be used! To free up some ram and storage space!
Thanks !
any one else can tell me about this?

So I have my Nubi 20 inch BigTab rooted and I was wondering how to remove the parent mode screen? I don't want to install a new OS What setting in the backend can I change to not load it at all? also does anyone know how I can install TWRP safely on this tablet? I see different models but nothing for the 20 inch tablet or the process. I recall you can get an app from the store and it does it automagically but I don't recall the name and if it will work on this model. Its an awesome table for sure!

And is it root Friendly meaning can I still use titanium to back up my apps afterwards... I am on stock rom with stock recovery just rooted with busy box any information would be much appreciated ^_^

In the case of losing your phone, some apps on Google Play supports "remote wipe" feature that helps you to clear your phone remotely.
Yeah currently a big fan of lookout premium now was just wondering about the encryption because I'm sort of paranoid and I have a lot of sensitive data and I work in a high risk environment just worried if my phone isn't lost but someone gets a hold of it for a short time enough to plug in through USB or something of that nature

A mysterious file is always generated on my SD card no matter how many times I format it or delete the file. The file has an extension of "MOLOGIQ" and is usually named ".06ba141d-a652-464b-b7c2-0932d1a1402b.mologiq". I have a fear that it is a spyware application that's hidden in my phone. I really can't seem to get rid of it. Any help understanding this or getting rid of it is much appreciated. My phone is rooted, S-OFF, 4EXT. This occurs on any ROM/kernel and even with full wipes and formatting I can't seem to get rid of it.
Just from googleing it comes up as stealth mode start up advertising, which sounds like a load of crap, don't know how or where you got it but it don't sound good
thisis50.com if its hot its here
If a full wipe doesn't fix it, all I could suggest is formatting SD again, through your PC, then run the ruu

I'm a flashaholic if that's how you spell it. v.v
It shows up on any ROM I use. Even on the ROMs that have full wipe aroma, I've even used ROMCleaner, and all the wipes in 4EXT, including SD. Thanks for the suggestion guys. If anyone else has anymore I can try, you're more than welcome.
Can I use a logcat to detect this app? Maybe format or delete the file and turn on the logcat and then wait until a it returns and find the item in the log?

I'm sure it's not a kernel or a ROM. :/
On my phone it's 1Weather, whenever I go to its settings.

You can't use mobile Odin because it requires root access. AFAIK, there is no way to root it without USB.

Solution
It is possible. You need to use an app not found on the Play Store, and get it using an APK file. The play store is basically a storage place in the cloud for loads of APKs, and it can install them, too. However you can also download these from the internet and run them to install them. These will let you root your phone with one click in the app. There are many of these available. With every app there is always the risk of bricking your tablet, but this is minimal. If you then want to get a custom ROM, you will want an app called ROM Manager.

Being an owner of 2 Samsung products, Galaxy S3 (SPH-L710) and an Galaxy Express (SGH-I437), I had ROOTED both these cell phones using KingrootV4.82. It's really simple, push button rooting.

Kingroot worked here as well.
I know there have been PLENTY of threads on xda trying to solve this and I've asked questions on the threads themselves and I'm yet to receive a reply. Can someone please give me a small guide (if possible ) how temp unroot.
1. Rootkeeper or any other app on the app store doesn't work when root is protected for me
2. SuperSU uninstall doesn't work for me
3. Flashing a zip to remove SuperSU and Busybox didn't work for me either.
There isn't a file with the name 'superuser.apk' that I could find.
Can anyone help with my predict? I really need to get this working before US Open

Sky Go is an application which allows people with a Sky subscription to watch TV on their devices, whether it be a tablet, phone or PC. I'm guessing u live outside the UK because Sky is quite popular here. As for the app, it is free, however you need an account to access it. Here's the link to it in the Play Store anyways.

Hi, I'm not the OP but thanks for trying to help. Unfortunately it's not The Weather Channel he/she was asking for but The Weather Network which is based in Canada. Unfortunately they've opted to restrict the tablet version to 8'' and up devices excluding the N7 (despite more than a few complaints on the Play Store).
If by chance you'd be willing to upload TWN, I'd definitely appreciate it. I know the iOS version is available in the US iTunes store so I'm guessing you'd have access?

I am sad to say that the app force closes on Nexus 7. I don't understand why they can't make this compateable on a 7 inch screen. The Weather Network treats the N7 like a phone.... I think I would look pretty stupid holding that thing to my ear.
I went back to an iPad Mini (Retina). As much as I love Android on phones, it's still not the same/better experience on tablets.

I was able to get it to work using "exposed framework" and "app setting" to set the display as higher resolution. It tricks the tablet version into thinking your tablet is a tablet (lol) but the problem is it still didn't look right. There was many glitches. I think the weather network was designed for 10 tablets :'(
I gave up. Pitty. 1weather is a good app to try.

wow thanks for the tip, i will try "xposed app setting" as i already have this installed but never thought of using it for TWN. My guess is that i will encounter the same problems as you did so ill probably end up giving up on TWN as well. I installed the new app of Weather Channel and Accuweather this morning. I am still testing both, they both look like very good weather apps. I have used 1weather before but uninstalled it cant remember why. Its a shame that TWN doesnt support all tablets.... i hope android become more strict with uploaded apps to the playstore, seems like the tablet world isnt supported by android devs all that much, at least not like apple, its so hard to find good tablet apps on playstore =(

Could you give me some help? I have a Galaxy Tab3 8.0, which is very similar to the note 8. But I could not get the TWN to launch in tablet mode, using xposed app setting. I followed your instructions - put 162 dpi and checked xlarge res everything else is untouched. It just made everything smaller but still in phone mode.
Perhaps TWN updated their app so the hack doesn't work anymore.
Did you modify anything else, like the tablet's overall DPI setting in build.prop?
Did you download the app from Play store, or side loaded it from another source?

Pity that the newer TWN versions break the hack. Things just never seemed to work out of the box like my iPad mini. Another example of Android users being treated as 2nd class compared to the iOS camp.
