Thanks guys, but I think "bad ass" has already been done.
I would just like to go through the process to become more familiar with it and this tool looks like a good place to start.

The Linux Live USB Creator is an awesome tool that can be used to install various Linux compilations, versions and distributions to a USB Flash Drive. The end result is a Bootable Live USB (in some cases with Persistence as well).

1. Download the splash screen you want to install
2. Place the file on your SD card, do not put it in a folder
3. Rename it PH98IMG.zip
4. Reboot to bootloader
5. Enjoy your new splash screen!

Please excuse my ignorance. I never flashed the leaked firmware. I just unlocked, rooted, and flashed a ROM. My understanding was, that if I didn't flash the leaked firmware, I didn't lose s-off. Is that incorrect?

Awesome job!
This script is meant to be a AIO android environment setup for prospective developers. An ease-of-use script which takes the tedious task of installing dependencies and adb needed for android kernel and/or Rom development.
This script is based on Tahl's
[SCRIPT] [Ubuntu] ADB, AAPT, APKTool, Android SDK/NDK, and udev rules auto-installer and has been modified to add more options for a user-friendly start to developing.
As this is a community of developers, I wanted to share this to further influence and encourage individuals who want to start developing their own kernel or roms for their desired device or platform
I will be adding more to this script in the comming future, any ideas and feedback are always welcomed!
Changelog:
3/14/13
added more dependencies to install list for option 1
MTP fix for ubuntu 12.04 & 12.10 users
added Android SDK check option

Just a little bout of OCD is all ha ha. I just don't like seeing "tampered" lol. I could care less about the warranty since it's already void the moment the bootloader was unlocked.

If your going to flash this rom i suggest you factory reset x 2. Why not just backup your whatspp w/ titatnium backup and restore after flash of new rom.
If you have some time in the next couple of days, could you build a stock, rooted ROM for LMY48J? I typically don't ask for these things, but I'm moving cross-country, and I don't have access to my PC to flash the image. TIA!
