Feiteing n9300+ charging problem - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi to all and a happy new year.
I recently bought 3 feiteng n9300+ phones. The problem is that if the phone is turned on, it needs more than 20 hours to be charged. If it is turned off it is being charged in less than 6-7 hours. I tried that with diferrent batteries and with different phones, but the problem is the same.
Does anybody knows any solution. It is so annoying to have your phone turned off when is it being charged.
Thanks a lot.

Odp: Feiteing n9300+ charging problem
I dont know if this will help, but I came by a dealer that said that standard charger supplied with the phone is crap and suggested using a stronger one ie 700.
Hope this helps.

Hello.
I had same problem as you.
I changed USB cable and everything is OK. Phone is charged from 20% to 100% about 5 hours. Charging is from a notebook.
Bye!

Note won't charge...

I have a white galaxy note on AT&T rooted with saurom 7.1 and for some reason when I use my USB extension with the original or after market charging wire the phone will not charge, in fact it still uncharges while I'm using it but it shows it plugged in.
It's not the rom because it did it before I flashed it from stock and also on the ICS leak and now again on saurom 7.1. Without the extension though it charges perfectly normal and quickly. One day it took 6 hours to go from 2% to 13% while it wasn't in use. I've also tried using other extensions I have and the one identical one did the same thing and another shorter one actually didn't allow the phone to charge at all or show it was plugged in... What gives?

Have u cleared the battery cache maybe it's wacked out and giving u faulty readings have u installed a battery app see if that is reading different?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using XDA
I read that it wasn't a great idea to mess with the battery like that so I haven't tried. Plus like I said without the extension it works fine

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to "bump" threads but I'm still having this problem and was wondering if anyone had any help or suggestions for me?
I would recalibrated the battery using a app that requires root in market.....wait till it hits 100 then recalibrate it....then let it drain all the way down....charge to 100 then do it again....this way the battery and system knows the true values...just my opinion I would try

The weird thing is my phone will show it's charged to 100% but if I unplug it and plug it back in the charging animation will start again and it will "recharge" again
How long is the extension?

Are you plugging into a wall outlet or a USB port on computer. There are a number of battery threads on here, but the quick recap is that the USB port on your computer isn't going to charge your Note very quickly or at all when you use it because the USB port doesn't provide enough power.
It'll charge much faster from the wall.
And even faster if you're not using it.

From the wall with a USB extension it took 5-6 hours to go up 12% without it, it goes to 12% in 5-7 minutes. This is without using it.

Are you using the factory cable?

My note battery died completely and the phone shutoff like normal. The problem Im having is it wont turn on or power... it will for a brief second show the battery charging symbol (Big one in middle of screen), but then it goes away.

I had the same problem with my note, it wouldn't charge via data cable or factory charging cable or 3rd party cable. After speaking with Samsung they said that this is a known issue, but did not tell me what the issue was except that it did not affect the battery. They sent me a new device, and was instructed to use my original back cover, battery, and they sent me a replacement factory charging cable and was instructed to use it exclusively. I got the feeling it was a port/cable issue and that they were well aware of it with an efficient return policy set up. Maybe you won't have to go this route, but a free (new, not reman) phone is a free phone.

phone is charging REALLY SLOW

I plugged in my phone last night and made sure it was charging, so i wake up this morning and i unplug it and it was at 20%?!? So i plugged it in rougly an hour ago and it only went up 20%, could it be that i left the desk clock thing on all night it just used more than it could keep up with and my battery is just super dead? I have also used different chargers and nothing worked.
It never goes past twenty? If that's the case, i'm thinking it may be a battery issue. If you call Samsung and tell them the problem, you should be able to get another one for free.

Are you using the Samsung Charger that came with the phone?
If yes do what he said ^ and call [email protected] and tell them. They will most likely send u a new battery.

Try a differrnt micro usb setting or clear battery data in cwm

Verify how much current the phone is drawing (CurrentWidget from app store or a shell script). Even with the factory charger I have seend where the phone will draw less than 400mA (which is less than from a USB port on a computer) due to the cable being used - I threw out that cable. The "Battery Info" showed AC but the phone was only drawing 389mA.
Mine does 1% every 2 minutes with stock charger.

its drawing 6130, but the phone is back to charging normally now, idk what it was but it was strange needless to say...
Had the same problem
I had the same problem of super slow charging a few days ago.
Fixed it by rebooting into recovery --> advanced --> wipe battery stats --> then reboot. Phone then charged as normal.
In case anyone has this trouble down the road...
For CurrentWidget you'll need to set the operation type to divide (/) and the operation value to 10. That will show you the correct charging current.

Try charging phone while it turned off. If it is the same it might be battery problem. And use stock wall charger with stock usb cable. Note draws 1A so generic microusb charger takes twice more time I guess.

[Q] Battery takes forever to charge ????

Helpp i have a rooted samsung galaxy s3 international version and i had cyanogenmod 10. After a couple of months the battery takes forever to charge. It goes up at a rate of 1% per 10 mins if phone is turned of. But when im using it, even when its being charged the battery would slowly decrease, i bought a new battery and a new charger but the problem ia still the same . And when the phone is unplugged battery life is pretty good. Im confused please help.

Dude I have the exact same problem but more severe. It stops charging randomly. Plus mine charges 2 percent per hour. So its really annoying. I posted a thread a couple of days ago, but no one seemed to know the solution. I guess we just have to unroot the mobile ( if at all it's rooted ), and send it to the service center and hope to get a replacement. *fingers crossed*
Try searching before adding a new post. Your question has already been answered multiple times already about this question. And by the way, it's your charging cable giving you the problem. Changed mine, problem fixed.
But i changed the whole charger and it doesnt charge its the samsung travel adapter.

That is the idea, if you have trouble when charging, chec the cable, second change the charger, if that does not solve the problem, check the USB port in the phone, sometimes a little piece of dirt, lint or anything else can obstruct the pins thus making a bad conection, clean it, otherwise, tee port in your phone may be faulty, luck

I don't know the answer to your question. Sorry.

See rule 5. (You DID read the rules, right?)
I think the problem is from your phone charger port

Try to clean your phone charger port. Which kernel you use? Do you tried charging via USB cable?

Note 3 won't turn on

I had a low battery and had been using my phone at work. I thought I had about 10% left, but looked at my phone and it was off. No, problem I have a usb cord and plug into my work computer to charge it, but no luck. The charging display doesn't come on at all. So, I tried using the same cord with the ad adapter, but same thing. When I first tried it it looked like it was trying to load up, but froze up on the first screen that comes on. So, I pulled the battery, but I am getting absolutely nothing so far. It has been on the charger for about 30 minutes now. What gives? I think I am within my 14 day period at Best buy, maybe it's a battery or phone issue. Of all the days and times it had to be today when I have plans after work, but looks like I have a date with Best Buy instead now. any ideas?
Well that was disappointing. Thankfully it was replaced without a problem. I wonder if it was from the battery dying. I tested the old battery and it powered the new one. Not sure what happened or if that's a first. I hate I lost everything on it.

Mine also accidentally made it to 0 once with no issues. Guess I'll also be a little more careful just in case.
Sorry for your loss.

I remember on my NOTE 2 once my battery died while driving. I tried to plug in my car charger and power it back up but I guess the charger wasn't providing enough juice so I let it charge for like 20 minutes and the phone powered up.
Point is if the battery is totally dead it has to charge for a bit before you can power on the phone...even with a wall charger.
