Found firmware files for firmware version 11416, not sure if they contain Qualcomm (signed?) bootloader.
But, since this is apparently the latest version that could contain this, Iam posting the link to the files.
http://code.google.com/p/nokia-lumia-800/downloads/list
Unfortunately I dont have my device to test this until apx 2 weeks time.
I know the .esco image is zip, and contains a signature file, together with boot.img - but - I dont know how to extract the boot.img to see if it contains (signed) qualcomm - or dload.
/Nieldk
EDIT: These files did not contain Qualcomm unlocked boot loader , locking tread
Can someone confirm FW 1600.2475.7720.11414 contain Qualcomm Bootloader?
Thanks in advance
EDIT: Flash yours FW but I have HW 2.4
Yes, I dont think the HW version will change, but hopefully - with luck - you got the DLOAD replaced with Qualcomm.

There is a pretty good guide here
http://smartphonegeeks.in/2012/03/t...-lumia-710-800-with-official-custom-firmware/
Just skip the first steps (downloading files using navifirm) and place the downloaded files from here in the folder described in the link.
The files you need are not the Zune backup, but the Navifirm files (packed with RAR 4 parts) and extract the RAR archive files (see image

files are named
1600.2475.7720.11414.part1.rar
1600.2475.7720.11414.part2.rar
1600.2475.7720.11414.part3.rar
1600.2475.7720.11414.part4.rar
I don't have my Lumia 800 with me today, dammit!
Hopefully someone can test and I really hope it downgrades to Qualcomm bootloader
What?! Can someone confirm that it's true? Does it mean that we can finally unlock lumia 800?
It is missing the OSBL file, which is the Bootloader partition. Well, if it this firmware indeed contains the Qualcomm bootloader (which I think it doesn't), you should have "Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM" device when you press Power + Vol Up while your phone is turned off and the USB cable is connected to your PC.
@Osso17, can you try this procedure?
Is not possible rewrite bootloader version with a old FW.
Sent from my Lumia 800 using Windows Phone 7 App.
not sure as I said if it includes QC bootloader. The ....boot.esco file contains a 'boot.img".
Possible, I think, that BL is in that img file.
open boot.img with OSbuilder
if thats how u want it.
Thanks all, unfortunately this does not contain our missed QC unlocked bootloader

Backing up and updating...
I`m happy about that, long waiting for.
Says I can update too. Thanks for the tip!
Just a quick backup and I'll know for sure.
I'm in Norway btw.
Edit: Updated fine. Got eclair, need root
Successfully updated in Estonia
Someone who updated successfully please share your customization code. Here are instructions how to do it:
1. Lock the screen of your phone. Press the menu button (left button) so that the screen is lit but still locked.
2. Press the home (central button) and back (right button) in following sequence:
home-back-back-home-back-home-home-back
Try several times if you can not do it the first time. when successful secret menu will appear. Go to Service info->Software info and find "customization version"
It should be something like 1241-3708_R3A (this is my code, your will be different but the same format).
Give us this code so we can update also.
To all who have updated succesfull,
Could you please post your "default.prop" which is located in the root?
More specific the "ro.semc.version.sw=1236-9291" (called kit by SE).
So others can modify and update too.

You can flash using Bin4Ry's flash tool.
I used non-gui one, works to flash 1.6->2.1->1.6
These are the files you need to flash the 2.1 :
Loader
Firmware X8 2.1-rus
Instructions :
Get Bin4ry's flasher here :
Flasher for SE
Unpack it somewhere lets say C:\x8-flash
Replace the bat script.
unpack firmware .sin files into folder firmware inside the x8-flash
Put the loader.sin in the same place.
Start the bat script.

A small tool I made to flash .img files through fastboot easily and quickly, without the need to type in commands manually. Originally I only made it for personal use but I decided to release it here. Someone might find this useful.
Q: FlashTool has this feature. Why bother?
A: Just because I can. Use whichever you prefer.

I'm guessing it means "Operating System Boot Loader"
As the QC one is already unlocked, I assume this must be for the DLOAD one ?
Hi Dewe,
Is It possible use this software, for install a custom rom? If yes, how?
And if yes, It's possible to have a complete guide (for example, I downloaded a rainbow rom, and then...)
Sorry if I don't understand very well this product function
Thanks for your help

By default NSS is saving the Nokia DLOAD when you are replacing it by the QLOAD. You have a restore button that make you go back.
Never tried, but should work. (Since it doing exactly the same operation (rewrite the bootloader) with another one).
Don't forget it's ONLY for Nokia Lumia 710.
As explained in the guide :
For an 800, only a device showing up as Qualcomm can be unlocked.
A DLOAD in 800 cannot be unlocked as yet.

Sorry for not replying, and thanks Dark_balor.
I have an android managed device with mt8163v chipset. It's from a big company, and it's custom built so there is no brand name or model. It has a slimmed down settings menu, and is highly restricted, so I'm unable to turn on USB debugging.
The hardware is decent and I'd like to be able to use the tablet...
Downloading apps to the device for rooting etc.. is not an option. It's not connected to the internet or any provider.
I have successfully got the device to talk with sp flash tool. I downloaded the scatter file from here
However, after about 45 seconds I keep getting the error S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032)
My guess is that the scatter file is incompatible with the device? I just want to completely flash the firmware, I don't need to keep anything on the device currently. Does anyone know how I may be able to create a scatter file without usb debugging enabled?
Or ANY other solution that may allow me to get past this brick wall??? Thanks!

Would you mind elaborating? I'm a bit new to this realm of tech. When you say the "Preloader inside flash" that I want to flash, what exactly are you referring to? The scatter file? Because there's only two options in sp flash tools that I'm aware of:
1.) Download-agent
2.) Scatter-loading File
Are you referring to either of these?
Also, when you say "download correct firmware" are you referring to the scatter file as well?
And please note that as I mentioned in OP, this device doesn't have a brand. It is custom built for a company to be secure. They only used it for in-house stuff and updated it via a company kiosk. Therefor, I can't just download firmware etc from any manufacturer.
Is there any generic/stock firmware for this chipset that will just override whatever is already there?
If there is any way for me beat this thing, please point me in any direction that may be helpful.
I have considering connecting via UART, as I can clearly see exposed uart pins on the board. Any other ideas greatly appreciate as to where I should move from here.

Okay thanks, interesting read. So, I guess what I need is to be able to extract the firmware that is already on the device, and hence creating a new scatter file? The problem with this is that I can't seem to find a method for doing this without enabling usb debugging, which I'm unable to do.
Are there any drivers / methods that would allow me to communicate with the device using adb / fastboot that don't require usb debugging to be enabled?
Also, is it possible that firmware for some other device that uses this chipset may work? If so, I'll start downloading all the mt8163v firmware I can find and see if any versions work... Thanks again.
You may try this method to root your phone and if it was successful you make the relevant changes to Android's system file named buid.prop.

Can't install apps on the device.... That's kinda part of the premise of this whole thing.
