hello fellow users,it's my first post requesting for help..
i want to upgrade to official ics on my desire S..it's running on stock..no custom ROM
i have not connected my phone to pc even a single time yet..now i have downloaded the RUU but what to do next??
i mean do i need any drivers or htc software on pc for it or i just connect phone to pc for first time and run RUU??
please give me a link to that prerequisite software as i tried but can't find on my own..
i also just found an HTC software called HTC sync and it's being downloaded as i'm writing this..will HTC sync be enough for the process to work?
if not,please give a link to the required software..

I own a HTC Desire S which i recently rooted and i installed anther rom (Primo S 4.1) and everything worked great...But everytime i try to install some other rom they dont boot for some reason. i even tried with rom manager and it doesn't work. so it got me thinking that maybe its because i didn't s-off my phone (because i didn't really know how to).
so now i want to s-off my phone but i have HBoot 2.02 and im finding it very difficult to do...
WHAT CAN I DO? PLS HELP ME.

I've just moved to android with htc sensation. been using htc hd 7 with windows 7.8.
I need understanding the android system. like for windows phone there is zune software, what do i need to download for android.
My htc sensation has android 4.0.3. Please guide me with all the things that i need to download to keep my android phone upto date.

What exactly is zune, just a media player, or a syncing utility? Im not sure if they still use it, but htc sync?
Hi i just got my htc one and is running 4.1.2 because im out of reach of att OTA Update Service I went and try to update manually the new stock rom from att with have android 4.3 but every time im trying to install it my computer tell me USB Device Is Not Recognized im running windows 8.1 and i have htc sync manager. im running out of ideas please tell me what im doing wrong. Any Help i will apreciated

This might help you. Reload the HTC drivers manually. I know they are included in teh HTC sync manager, but it never hurts to try it manually. http://android.sc/latest-htc-drivers-available-for-download-htc-sync-manager-app/

i did a stupid thing is that i flash GB Hboot mistakenly while my phone has ICS now it is not showing anything won't open.
it won't go in fastboot also please help me

I have done a lot of research to get my Bricked HTC One Max International working but no avail. Now I want to the dev of HTC Unbricking Project to help me and all other HTC One Max user out who are stuck at QHSUSB_DLOAD mode. I know that HTC One m7 unbricking has been done. I think One max unbricking should.
My phone is unlocked, S-Off having stock rom with root. The bricking happened when installing latest OTA update from 2.61.401.3 to 3.12.401.3.
It updated while being in stock recovery as I could see the progress bar but then it restarted and dead. I think it has not flashed firmware.zip which normally htc do after first restart from recovery while updating.
I attached it to my computer to see if it get to anywhere but it always came in with QHSUSB_DLOAD drivers. I somehow installed unsigned drivers to it although I don't have tool to do anything further.
As of HTC One m7 unbricking. I already have prepared live ubuntu usb and downloaded the files. Although those files are for HTC One m7 and I don't want to mess it more.
So anybody who has get it done without opening the phone. Please respond. Or maybe HTC Unbricking Project team get it done quickly.

Sorry can't help but how can so many people keep bricking there HTC one max what's the problem you keep doing I've seen a far few posts about people doing it.

When there is no proper guide how to restore to stock firmware, such problems do occur. Anyhow I am still looking for a reply.
