i was wondering if i can flash Rootbox Jelly Bean ROM for Galaxy S2 i9100! [Android 4.1.2] [V3] on this phone? because someone told me that i need certain roms for a certain brand of smartphones coz it might not be compatible.
i hope for your kind reply..ty so much..

You have an international device which is the standard I9100 like the UK ones but different label. You can flash basically any here expect the ones on the I9100G forum and ones that end in a letter like.
Please doont ask how you root or flash custom roms, we already have plenty of question topics with answers that cover that aswell as sticky topics and guides.

[Q] Looking for offical rom

I am looking for an official ICS or JB rom for samsung galaxy 2, and I am worried a lot as I've seen some threads about hard bricked phones when upgrade to wrong or bad rom.
Phone currently running android 2.3.5 with CF-Root kernel
Here's some extra info:
PDA: I9100JPKJ2
PHONE: I9100XXKI4
CSC: I9100OJPKJ1
I was looking through this thread to get an upgrade: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278 but I don't know which one suites my phone and there's no JB (ICS would be good if there's some bugs in JB).
Join Sammobile and plug in your phone details etc and come back and say what roms are listed for 4.0.3 and/or 4.0.4

You can always search this forum for 'stock jb firmwares' like I did, and your questions would have been answered already!
The official jb update for india has not yet been released. But you can dowload firmwares from other regions (available in this forum or at sammobile.com) and flash using Odin..
AFAIK Superbrick bug only affects phones running leaked firmwares, like some 4.0.4 firmwares. If you're updating to an official firmware, there is little chance of being affected by this bug..
Sent from my SGS II
Actully the eMMc brick bug is only on 4.0.4 stock kernel and is only triggered by backup, restore, flash etc in stack Recovery. Bottom line, you don't ave to worry.
And you are flashing via Odin so there isn't any chance of bricking your phone by the brickbug.
