[Q] Fm transmitter for samsung s2 - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, i just wanna know if there's a way for my samsung galaxy s2 to have an fm transmitter like Nokia N series like what is stated on this site http://www.knowyourmobile.in/nokia/...7/how_to_use_fm_transmitter_on_nokia_n85.html
If yes, any suggestions? Thanks

No. That is a built in hardware feature of the n85. The article even says so. The i9100 doesn't have the hardware built in.

You could just buy a small battery operated one that plugs into the 3.5 mm jack and use that instead they're small and quite cheap

Or use something like the Jabra Cruiser. A hands free bluetooth speaker module which can also stream music via bluetooth (from phone) to FM transmitter for picking up by car stereo.

I see, thanks for telling me guys.

FM transmitter for TyTN

Hi,
My Vario II justification to the misses was that we'd be able to listen to music in the car with it (our CD player is dead).
Has anyone come across an FM transmitter that you can power from the car cigar lighter and plug directly into the mini usb socket on the TyTN?
Cheers,
Steve.
I'm looking for the same thing
I bought a SONY MEX5000 BT stereo that uses Bluetooth streaming. It is so cool! much better quality(sound) then the radio ones. I dont carry CDs anymore just everything over BT with MP3s.

and how to connect ?
--> no way @ this moment ...
Try Nokia HS-12W. Google to see how it looks like.
It is a bluetooth Stereo Headset which you can listen to MP3 played from Tytn.
It is also a standalone FM Radio by itself without the Tytn at all.
I have one, cool.
Hi and is there a bluetooth receiver taht one can plug into a stereo ?
HS-12W is a Wireless (no wire between it and phone) Stereo Headphone via Bluetooth with Build in FM Radio.
What I meant about the bluetooth reciever is if there is one that tha pda streams music and is recieved by a device that can be plugged into the home stereo, same principle as a headset only differance is that it'll go to speakers.....hop I made it clearer this time... or maybe it's that I am not gettin it jaja
You are refering to Home Stereo Hi-Fi Amplifier/Receiver to speakers. Well it is something I was thinking about some years ago when I first read the white paper on Bluetooth v2.0 A2DP Profile.
But Hi-Fi industry in term of following latest trend is normally a little slower than the computer & mobile industry. So far, not that I know of that there is a build in Bluetooth Hi-Fi system including speakers. Maybe it is time to do a google on this topic, it would be good if there is such solution to get rid of the messy wire connections.
I do know that there is such thing as Bluetooth Donger, which is a bluetooth device with a headphone jack and you can plug the headphone jack into the Hi-Fi headphone jack and bingo you have wireless music with you wireless headphone, but bluetooth is quite subject to surrounding interfence, so you may have broken music in your ears.
The is also some not so good old technology using Infra-Red. The better ones are the wireless headphone sets using RF frequency which you can listen to music even you and your hi-fi are in different room.
Hope I got your question right this time.
Hey CWKJ,
Thanx for your reply. Look at the following link:

It's a bluetooth speaker, but what I am looking for is something that can make any car home stereo into a bluetooth reciever...
You mean something like the Tunestage II for the iPOD?
http://www.techdigest.tv/2006/10/belkins_tunesta.html
I'm looking for something similar that will plug into a car stereo - i.e. a bluetooth receiver which will plug into the external input of my car stereo, so I can stream to it from my TyTN - anyone know of anything?
PS Yes, I have seen the Parrot MK6000, but I don't think its out until Q1 2007....
BINGO!! Yes like this, only that you don't need the transmitter (tytyn would be it!).
check out the I-Tech S35 clip. A2DP receiver with a 5mm headset jack. You can cable this to your car with an adaptor cable. The I-Tech doesn't skip either!
Yes! this seems to work! jajaj do you actually use it? or know of someone that has used it with this purpose?
Once again thank you for your responses!
I've not used it myself for this purpose. I've no doubt that it will work though. What I am interested in is the usable range. The applicaton I have in mind will require 4-5 meter range from the I-Tech device to my TyTN.

Ok, you are talking about car hi-fi system, the speaker looks good.
For Home hi-fi system, maybe there isn't bluetooth audiophile speaker yet.
For the car hi-fi system, there are some with the audio output (the Left - Right or White - Red cable build-in type audio output cable). Buy another cable adaptor (Left - Right/White - Red to stereo headphone cable) and the Bluetooth Donger, connect them up and you will have the audio on you bluetooth speaker. Hope this works!
Hey! look at this:

Sony always has great product.
November 18 in Japan? If so, wondering when it will be available in other parts of the world?
I already found some for sale in ebay!! wow!

FM Radio

hello
is there any solution to run FM radio without headset
i know that the headset is the Antenna
but if i am verry neer from the signal source (2m) i think that i did't need Antenna!!!
I really want to know if there's a way to use the FM Radio without the headset too.
FM Radio without the headset
+1
I would like to have it for a long time !
What I have, is the MiniUSB adapter for the headphones, so I can use ordinary headphones in the phone, this is identical to what I have:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Headphone-Ear...39:1|66:2|65:12|240:1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
When this is plugged in, even with no headphones plugged into the end, it still thinks the headphones are plugged in and therefore I can listen to the FM Radio out loud when this little adapter (about 2" long) is plugged in.
Hello,
Actually i think its a big problem....
I bought a Motorola S9 (bluetooth headphone), its arriving in a few days...and im concerned about this...
thats all
It'd be good if there could be a built-in ariel so that the headphones don't have to be the ariel. My iPod earphones are shocking.

[Q] Headphone FM antenna..

Hi everybody,
I use the FM radio of my HD2 a lot at work, but the reception with the stock headphone is really bad. My previous phone was a
Samsung Pixon and it's reception was excellent at the same spot. I would like to buy another headphone with a 3,5mm jack. I have
tried a samsung headphone with 3,5mm jack, but it's not compatible with HD2. (stereo isn't working properly and radio is very soft)
Does anyone know a good headphone that has a good antenna function and works with the HD2?
Thanks.
Caliber...
its worth remembering that the hd2 has possibly the worst fm radio in existence, , it can barely pick up mainstream stations in my area, and i can SEE the massive, 1000's sq mile footprint tv/radio transmitter, , so it may not necessarily be the earphones.
My HD2 used to unable to pick up anything.
But after I flash to 2.15 radio ROM,
I still pick up radio channel with my two old Sony and Aiwa cheap cheap headset.
So give it a shot, I am using either cooked ROM or SD Android.
Have not install any radio software on the testing NAND Android yet.
Thanks for the quick response.
I checked the radio version that's on my phone, it's 2.15.50.14 so I don'y think that could be it. De Pixon headphones has a
thicker part where it connects with the phone. I believe it's part of the antenna. Unfortunately it uses the Samsung style connector so I can't use it on the HD2.
My search , or I will have to use the Pixon again.

I had a set of Sony Noise Canceling Headphones (MDR-NC7's) and when I use them on my HD2 and flick the switch on to activate the noise cancellation, I pick up way more stations, I use these on the Train and when riding my Bike
Not cheap though

[Q] Galaxy S2 and Wireless Fm Transmitter.

Well, my car doesn't support either minijack audio input or USB, so if i wanna play music from my Galaxy S2, the only way left, is to get an Wireless FM transmitter from ebay.
Thing is, that i wanna be sure, that my Galaxy stays charged, while transmiting, as well as it is compatible with the transmitter.
Anyone tried that before? Is Galaxy S2 compatible with such items? And if yes, does it charge while in it?

2 android DEVICES, use one to stream BLUETOOTH AUDIO to the other

Hi guys
I have an older car without bluetooth or AUX in. I have been using a cheap FM transmitter with a 3mm plug to play music from my phone through the car radio.
I am looking to buy a bluetooth FM transmitter but haven't decided which one to get yet, maybe santa will bring me one 8-}
Anyway, until I get BT/FM device... I have an older android phone (Samsung Galaxy Gio s5660) that doesn't get used anymore. I was thinking maybe I could leave that permanently plugged in, in the car, and have it pair with my Nexus 4 so that poweramp on the N4 can stream to the s5660 and play through the headphone jack > 3mm FM transmitter.
Is this possible and how do I go about doing it? Apps to use, etc? I don't really know a whole lot about bluetooth. I'm just tired of plugging in the cord every time I get in the car.
Thanks any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
I guess it's unpossible then
