is there any app that will show notifications on a custom lockscreen (widgetlocker) ? I've tried iPhone Notifications, LockerPro, NotifierPro , Popup Notifier Plus, notification browser and Droid Notify Pro.
But no one seems to show all notifications for example: whatsapp, facebook, plume, dropbox, rummified (game) and all other statusbar notifications.
In short, i would like an app that shows all messages from the statusbar on widgetlocker.
TNXS!
I havent used this yet, but NotifierPro Plus https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nlucas.notificationtoaster&hl=en ($2.60 in the PlayStore), states that "If you use a custom lockscreen app such as MagicLocker or WidgetLocker, or if you use the stock Android 4 lockscreen, banners will show ABOVE your lockscreen. I'm currently using Minimoto Rom myself and was looking for something like that to compliment the stock SMS application also. Hope this helps.

I really like the Go Launcher EX widgets, particularly the messaging widget. However, I despise the launcher itself. Dosn't fit with how I want to use my phone or how I want it to look. I want to go back to ADW and keep the widgets. Ideally I would like to know if you could just fix permissions or something and then use the widgets. I would settle for a substitute, but nothing is quite as functional. Pure Messenger, Colorize, & LP+ all look nice but are NOT what I want. I want a widget that works with the stock mms, allows you to scroll through your conversation chat style, shows your replies, and allows you to respond WITHOUT opening the messaging app. (2 Screenshots Below Of The Widget For Reference, Talking About Football On Sunday, Conversation Goes Upward )

I am using Multiwindow as a launcher and was wondering if anybody knows if it is possible to add The Apex launcher, app drawer shortcut, if so how it can be done.
When i try and add it through the edit button, it only shows the Apex Launcher icon.
I am also using LegendK95's Multiwindow Control App, (Link Below)
but still cannot add the shortcut.

LegendK95's Multiwindow Control App.

Well, this *app drawer* isn't an actual app, so it's not possible to do this.
Your best bet is to find an app drawer application, and add it to the MultiWindow, then use it from there.
Thanks for your reply.
Use Alt Drawer - it's a stand alone app that you can configure to your particular tastes...
thanks for the idea too :highfive:

I've used Desktop VisualizeR & QuickShortcutMaker to create app shortcuts (with the name as a blank space) for most of my apps. However there a couple of "live" shortcut icons like Messaging that don't respond well to that technique. Is there another way to achieve what I describe in the above image?

If you are rooted, Nottach Xposed has an option to disable the names: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2293956. It's under 'Launcher>Hide dock app labels'.

Click to collapse
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I'm unrooted and that's not going to be happening very soon since I updated the firmware.
Hello guys,
I was just wondering if its possible to show expanded (with content) notifications on lockscreen instead of just the those thumbnails stuck to the right of my screen?
Im using liquidsmooth milestone 3.2 (KK 4.4.4).
I'd post some screenshots so we can better understand each other about what i want because Im not very familiar with terms, but XDA forum wont let me post links from other sites because I'm a new member etc, so if you know a way to post them just tell me how and I will.
Ok so if you know how to do this I would appreciate it a lot.
Thanks in advance.

This is how the notifications appear at the moment
This is how i want notifications to appear
Sorry I'm not sure about that ROM because I never used it but its possible with Android 5.0 and above.
Alternately , you can use third party apps like NiLS lock screen notification on Google Play.
You might have enabled privacy mode in lockscreen notifications settings. If not then you can press the little icon and drag the notification.
I am looking for a texting/sms app which will show the contact image as a transparent backdrop/wallpaper for conversations with that contact. I have inadvertently texted messages to incorrect recipients and I think such background image will correct such mistakes.
I looked at few, but could not find this capability.
If such feature does not exist, which applications are likely to take this as a worthwhile suggestion?
Thanks
Google Hangouts
Try Google Hangouts. It shows contact image to the left side of each message.

Handcent is what you want .. on google play
Thanks dk0dave! I would have liked if I could add transparency to the picture ..
I am also looking at yaata which has similar features. One of those should work out for me.
