Hello friends,
can anyone give some advices on how to setup the build environment for compiling CM9 for Xperia P?
I followed this guide:

But I'm not sure where to get the properitary files from. Any idea?
You need to pull them from your device. And may I ask why do you want to compile it yourself?

Just curiosity, I want to play a bit. Don't you think that that is a good idea?
Isn't there kind of repo like there was for Xperia mini?

until it gets uploaded, use the extract-files.sh script in your device-directory

Then maybe I should just relax until the files have been uploaded.
Your guide was very clear and easy to follow. I could build CM9/10 for my mini with that. Would you write another guide like that when the proper files for P are out?
Will make one asap, but it will be for the Sola (should not be a problem for you).
I will make it here in the general section, so you will also be able to see it.

You can build, but there's no point unless you can fix things for now. Almost everything is broken as expected, but hopefully it can be fixed. J knows what he is doing.

I bought a smart phone in March, it called Samsung Galaxy Trend Duos 2 (GT-S7572).
Samsung only gives updates with Android 4.1.
I'd try to use 4.2 fireware, so I want to build a custom rom from CM.
I looked the forums, the ways only for HTC. Can any body tell me how to do it? Thanks.

Look at http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Development under the section "Building Basics". Also, if your device is not listed, you'll need to look at the section on porting - http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Doc:_porting_intro. However, you might want to see if someone else has built for your device first and look at the unofficial ports - http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Unofficial_Ports.

Thanks, I'll do it in a few minutes.
Bootloader unlockable:YES but i cannot find sony xperia sola in the supported devices on the sony's official site to unlock it. anyother way to unlock or what should i do?
Interesting, it was definitely on that list. Maybe Sony took the Sola off because it is too old meanwhile?
I don't know of any other way to obtain an unlock code and I guess the only way to really find out is to ask Sony.
All 2012 NXT devices ( U P Sola) disappeared from the list
First of all, this is the wrong section... You shouldn't post questions here in the development section.. There is a Q&A Section for that.
Then, yes, Xperia sola seem to be removed from the official list which, AFAIK, is the only way to do so..

I don't think a member can delete a thread.. Only a moderator can do that, I think..
So, you can request a moderator to do it..
Or, if you have got a solution, you may post it here, so that new users maybe benefited..
