New root alcatel onetouch t10 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

ROOTING THE ALCATEL T10
This is my first time to actually root an android device . Initally i tried to look for the best ways to root a device but found none that actually
worked for my ALCATEL T10 tab , tried the Binary_Script but due to the missing drivers that i searched for high and low for , i was not able to
run the programs for rooting. I'm not a very tech savvy , and in fact i don't have my own computer ( LOL ) but i was able to do this using a PC
at a local net shop.
before we begin again i won't take any responsibility in case that something goes wrong with your device or PC the steps here are
things that i googled and from there i was able to get this solution , never have tested it on any other devices if not certain then look for another solution if CLEAR let's start :
1st thing i did was to look for the adb driver that would be compatible with this device , tried the google usb driver ,thrive driver, heck even the driver from the OEM website still the device was not being recognized by the computer ( using XP by the way ) tried to manually and automatically update driver ,no avail. what i did was i searched for a driver updater , a program that actually allows you to see and update drivers that are outdated on your pc along with the other devices that is connected to it ..
first make sure that the tab is in USB debugging mode and that usb connection was set to mass storage ..in device manager , you should be able to see your device as "one" under other devices ..
now download the DRIVERMAX program link : ww.innovative-sol.com/drivermax/ , ran the exe file and once its done you would be asked to register first to use it , no fees and this is not a phishing site so you can proceed , you will be given 2 free downloads per day for any driver but your only gonna need one . once you run the drivermax program look for ADB INTERFACE which should be in yellow . you should be given the option to install/update ( cant remember sorry) the program would look for the most compatible driver for it and ( you can choose the first driver that would appear once the search is done ) install ..
your device "ONE" would disappear from the device list , unplug and replug device on the same usb drive ..
the root tool i used is UNLOCKROOT lww.unlockroot.com/download.html
just run the program and your device will reboot automatically after ( i was scared the first time because the screen stayed on and it didnt respond immediately but rebooted still after 2-3 mins after it turns on your device is rooted ( ran root checker and it showed taht it was rooted )
and hope that this works for y'all thanks!! ( P.S donations are accepted LOL .. seriously )

nice ... how was the response of the T10 after the root? did you upgrade to jelly bean?

[Q] Problem with USB connecting

Hi everyone, I've been having some serious problems with the usb connection of my samsung galaxy fame (GT-S6810L)
1) I intended to root the phone, but the adb console wouldnt recognise the phone
2) I intended to flash a new rom from odin and maybe root later ... but odin didnt recognise it neither
3) Finallly, I gave up and said to myself "**** it, im sticking with this rom, with my tablet i dont need gaming, so i dont need rooting ...". But when I went to load some music into the phone .... oh yes, the computer didnt recognise the mass usb storage system !
I tried with 3 different cables, all usb ports and A LOT of drivers (official and unnoficial) i found out there ... i also tried the generic ones i used to root my chinese tablet thorugh ADB, but no luck. I havent tried Kies because my pc is a piece of s$%& and it could possibly explode
I think the problem would be in the drivers, because i tried plugin in another phone (samsung galaxy Y pro, GT-B5510L) and the pc didnt recognise it as well
The worst of all is that when I plug the phone into my pc, it recognises that im pluging in something, but I cant work on it
This is what I get:
(i cant post the links of the pictures, but the hardware manager shows a new menu that goes "Android Phone" with a submenu that goes "Samsung Android Interface")
I NEED help, please ............. I might throw this piece of crap in any moment
Thanks in advance
PD: i have winXP 32bit

Did you select the option of USB Debugging mode enabled when connecting to ADB??
If you didn't, then try connecting by enabling that.
As you said no other samsung devices are connecting, then you surely install driver softwares.
Here's the link to the Samsung USB Driver: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=961956
If you have installed Samsung Kies, disable it first and then try to connect it in Odin or ADB!!
Press thanks if I have helped you.
Yes, i turned on USB debbuging (i rooted my tablet through ADB). I turned it back off when i tried to use mass storage, as well as double checked if the usb thetering was oof (it was)
Ive never installed kies because my pc is pretty crappy (not even 1gb ram)
Ill give that driver a try and let you know, thank you !
EDIT -------------
Those were the drivers !! I love you man !

[Q] Windows 7 cannot load the driver needed for Samsung Galaxy S2 -Error code 31.

Hi ,
I AM Windows 7 - 32 bit user .
I just sat down to write all the details after reading all the threads available in google regarding error code 31 problem . Lot of blogs i refered but still my Problem is not solved.
So let me elaborate my issue . I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100) . I never had any problems in connecting my mobile with windows 7. whenever i connect it , it gets detected and works fine till last month. But now suddenly my mobile is not getting detected in my PC. I cant transfer important files from PC to mobile. My mobile uses Android version 4.1.2
In the Device manager section when i try to view what is the problem , The device name is there in universal bus controllers with a yellow color exclamation mark . When i try to fix the issue and trouble shoot it , nothing seems to work .
WINDOWS CANNOT THE LOAD THE DRIVER FOR THIS DEVICE. Error code 31 ---> this message pops up. I tried to uninstall and update the driver , then also its not getting updated, it tells access is denied , contact ur manufacturer support for further assistance it is telling.
1)I have tried it in different ports
2) I tried installing the PC kies 3 from Samsung Page itself . installed Kies still device is not detectd.
3) Tried to fix this issue reading the previous threads and posts. not able to solve at all
4)Tried deleting the UPPER FILTERS .
The phone is charging well and is working perfectly. I tried to connect it with different cable (assuming its a cable problem) still no use.
In my Device , ----> went to Developr Options checked and uncheckd the USB debugging mode--> No use .
Tried to update the driver via online software, (Windows suggested trouble shooter solution). ---> No use.
uninstalled and again installed KIES ----> NO use.
The yellow exclamation mark is alone prominent in device manager section with error code 31.
Some one please please Help me out . Will be very thankful if you can help me in this. Not only me , My brother has GALAXY S duos, his mobile also is not detected in my PC.
Tried doing all things that are possible
I downloaded the driver needed to be installed from the samsung website itself , when i try to install it , i am not able to
THe message i get is ---> UR phone is in use , disconnect it and then install This message pops up even when my device is not connected.
Access is denied to install the drivers.
Somehow please fix this , after asking many users and consulting many friends i came to know that my Device is not having any problem and its the WINDOWS 7 which is causing a big problem.

it may looking awkward but try another data cable to connect it may work for u
Given it's more than likely (99.9999%) a Windoze problem, what exactly do you expect anyone here to do about it (or Samsung for that matter) ?

Require help to root Samsung Galaxy S III Alpha(SC03E)

Hi
This is indeed a talented pool of people and i am near sure that i would get a resolution.
Ultimate goal is to Flash my SC03E(Galaxy S III alpha) , but i think i have a problem to sort before i can do that.
I brought this phone from tokyo and got it unlocked from a local vendor, without going to NTT . Since then i havent been able to connect to PC using the USB. I have done the below , but it doesnt work
1) Downloaded a samsung USB driver
2)Installed the Kies software
3) Enabled the developer version , tried USB debugging mode.(After i did this step, on the phones password screen, i get a line "Unlock your device to use as a media device". After putting in pwd, nothing happens i.e doesnt show up on PC
When i plugin the phone to PC, i do get the sound from PC which it makes when a USB device is connected, and the phone gets charged from the USB as well , but the phone doesnt show up anywhere on the PC.
I am assuming i cannot go ahead with any rooting process, till my phone connects to the PC
Please help and guide me through this.
Some details on the phone
1) Build # : JSS15J.sc03eomubog5
2) Android version : 4.3

My android phone won't connect to my pc, it only charges

Okay so I've ruled out a couple of the culprits and I still struggle to connect my phone
The Cable,I know this because I've tried the same cable on a different phone and it work perfectly
The MTP drivers,I know this because I've installed this more than twice and restarted both device more than I can remember also every single driver I have installed gives me code 10 error and doesn't work after restart.
all of this happened after I tried to flash twrp on my device and when I pressed flash on the SPflash app it didn't flinch so I restart my phone, and lo and behold it starts to transfer files from the twrp .img file and after that my phone was still connected but nothing changed twrp wasn't there, but my phone was still connected and I when I progressed through the page on how to flash there was the drivers for it MTK drivers after I installed them nothing was working, so I uninstalled the phones drivers, exactly after that my phone wouldn't connect again, like I said I tried every thing, that I could do.
All I wanted to do is to root that old phone and give it a new life but no something has to go wrong and I tried going to the manufacturer's website for the drivers but no dice, I tried posting on the manufacturer's forum and still nothing they haven't even replied to my post about it being publicly available, so I hope that someone out there can help me diagnose ans fix this problem.
I'm on android 8
its a blackview bv8000 pro
