Hi i hope you can help me please i need it.... i used the app exynos abuse and all is okay no problem well i thinked that my problem is with the front camera i don't knew until i wanted to do the video call then the front camera was black and don't saw it i just wait that somebody help me for can to do video calls with the front camera... please excuse me my english is too bad but age long time i dont practiced.

That is a problem with exynosabuse fix if you are on xxlsj (the jelly bean leak) you can flash siyah or jeboo kernel as they fix the exploit and have working camera front and back

I'm so happy we finally have ICS but i don't understand why the camera is still the old one and not the ICS camera (with those cool realtime face effects) we know from the ICS presentation...
can anyone explain? is there a way to get it??

Presume as ICS was beta its failed the acceptance for ICS official release .
Rip camera out of a beta ICS or via Titanium backup and see if it works .

Beg your pardon i thought you where taking about a real camera in the beta builds not one from a picture show . You need to ask Samsung about that .

Google ICS built-in is not the same as Samsung Touchwiz modded ICS built-in, that camera app may exist on AOSP or other devices, the Samsung release uses the touchwiz camera unfortunately.

My front camera will not work . I'm using cm9. I'm tempted to go back to stock or wait for cm10 (I'm not sure if cm10 will fix this) . Is there a custom mod that the front camera will work. I need to know BC I use it a lot for video conference.

Hi guys! I have a little question but i don't have permission to post thi in developer forum 'cause I'm a new member!
In my mango I have the legacy xperia rom by mike but I've see that the front camera force close application. In the previous build it works but now no.
I wipe all before install the new build, so i think that is a bug.
Someone know something about that?

Yeah it's a bug in the rom. The front camera works with the video recorder.

I was using cm10.1 with working camera on my xperia u, then aplied the front camera fix and didn't work. So I decided to flash stock ICS and now any camera works. this is driving me crazy, because if I flash back to cm10.1 the rear camera works again...
So my main problem is that front camera isn't working with the fix on cm10.1, but in ICS any of them.
Any ideas?

Dude, I was facing the same problem. After flashing the ICS FTF, flash CM9 or SlimCM. At least your Rear Camera would work for sure, don't know about front
