[Q] Black screen when booting into recovery. - HTC One X+

Hey Guys,
Just unlocked bootloader on my one x+ (international)
When I attempt to boot into recovery to root I just get the HTC start animation then a black screen. This applies for when I boot from desktop straight to recovery or for Hboot. I used Hasssoon2000's tool. Would it be worth relocking bootloader and trying a different method?
Thanks

1. Unlock your bootloader
2. Choose your HOX+ Internation or ATT/TELUS model which is now using.
Follow the step won't be problem as well.

Thanks for your replies but I've tried the international recovery. Bootloader is unlocked. I've searched all over web for an answer. Never seen it before.

Your situation same as me when still noob, having the same problem.
But that time I flash the HOX and not HOX+....
After that, I found they cannot use the same recovery, so I use Hasoon AIO Kit and solved.

Don't flash the CWM, but rather TWRP att version found in toolkit and then flash supersu from that recovery

Move the whole toolkit folder to your root drive C:/ and try it from there.

[Q] Can't Unlock Bootloader ATT HTC One

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone can point me to the right direction. I had a silver HTC One that I successfully unlocked the bootloader and rooted but unfortunately had to return do to faulty hardware. ATT sent me a black HTC One but I can't seem to unlock the bootloader now. I am using the All in one toolkit but in the final stage where it uses the unlock.bin file, it fails. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
I would try s-off through revone exploit. No need to unlock just get s-off, install custom recovery and flash away

Downgrade from 1.27.531.11 to 1.27.531.8 and S-OFF available

In my search and attempt to find a method to downgrade 1.27.531.11 firmware and successfully run revone for S-OFF, I found it.
mod edit
***Edit***
The downgrade is out there, DO NOT POST A LINK TO IT!!!! The thread will get closed again. Use your googling skills.
Has anyone tried this method with the bootloader unlocked? I'm just confused why the bootloader has to be re-locked.

When you run an RUU the bootloader has to be locked. You can always unlock it again. The HTC One toolkits make it really easy. Just save your email with the unlock.bin
Hello OP, may I ask which toolkit did you use to re-lock bootloader? Thanks!
Yeah it works. Im now s-off

i was in the same boat... make sure you are running the "ARUWizard" from the extracted folder and not the zip file. also do "fastboot reboot-bootloader" without the quotations. also update your drivers just to make sure. i got mine from hasoon's toolkit
Thread re-opened.
Let's keep this about the info only please and not about banned members etc.
Thanks

Yes the folder after you unzip the .zip file. Then go into the data files and run the application I told you.
Nope that reboots bootloader to ensure you are good to go.

[Q] flashed international on att one x +

I got a customer who brought in a htc one x+ and he flashed an international rom on an att rom. I have tried installing an ruu and it did not work. The only thing that it does is reset and load into recovery. it cannot mount any drives. Is there any way to fix this?
Did u relock the bootloader before trying to flash ruu? U need ruu 1.19 older ones might not work or U have to sideload an att rom . From recovery and using a tool like hasoons tool for one x plus. Just google for instructions how to sideload roms.

There's a guide to side loading in post 4 of this thread:

Can we get a guide for rooting?

I haven't used an HTC phone in over a year since the original M7 release. I'm used to Samsungs where all you need to do is open odin and flash a few files and boom you're done. I can unlock the bootloader no problem but I am confused on the steps to get twrp on it. Can I just follow a guide for the M7?
for those who also need help, i found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2694564
Just unlock boot loader on htcdev site, flash twrp and when you go into the recovery and exit it'll root for you

I assume you just unroot and flash stock recovery and relock boot loader
