Yes you can. Although if you have a safe Kernel (which usually comes packed with a safe recovery as well - double security) you should not worry.
ok thanks for your answer. I have one more question, I have now soft ics stock kernel and can I install the LSJ LEAK 3 FILE by mobile odin?

I had this sane chip in my note2, and I tried several times to wipe, or to restore, but it ended up with paying $300.00 to get a new motherboard.

Nothing is 100% safe, but stock XWLPM ROM is safe.
Only when injecting CWM and wiping with it, may brick your phone.
I have flashed XWLPM twice, first with CF-Root v5.6 for XXLQ5, and then as Pre-Rooted version from liquidperfection.
With CF-Root I had CWM recovery, and wiped cache and Dalvik cache wihtout any issues.
So, if you only use stock recovery or permanent CWM of a "safe" kernel, then XWLPM won't brick your phone.
Thx

I made the mistake to restore a jb stock rom nandroid right before work and I'm stuck with it for many hours. Isn't there a way I can go back to aosp without needing odin? Like some flashable zip?

Flash a ICS CWM package like wanam's build..boot into the OS..enable WIFI NFC GPS..now flash the AOSP rom..your WiFi NFC firmware will be downgraded..
Why the hell is it taking too long?
When did the update even come out?
Will I wait for too long?
My cousin just bought the s3 and I searched for updates it found 1 then another 1 but no jellybean update still ICS

i've used it before without issues, but i've tried 4.1.1, and 4.1.2 odin flash, plus CF root on my i317 and cannot get TA to attempt to wipe counters. I open the app, tap "reset flash counters", download the add-on, agree to warnings, and nothing. no reboot, or anything.
Any ideas what would cause this?
See if yoir phone is supported with triangle away

Where you downloaded it from?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
i got my firmware files from sammy, downloaded TA from play store, and i've had my CF root for a while (maybe old version?). i have noticed that adb works, but adb reboot bootloader just reboots, and no fastboot commands work while in download/bootloader mode. that's never been an issue before, and i'm on a mac.
I can get all flags set back to official/normal, just can't get TA to reboot and attempt to wipe the counters.
does not work on my s2 i777 is there another way?

Hi guys, I need your help, my flash counter says always that I have 1 and on booting appear one red point on the left side.
Is there any option to reset to 0 ?
I have tried with triangle away but is not working.
Here's my settings hope can anyone help me
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
did you install the new bootloader & a custom recovery? If yes, and if I am not wrong, the counter always resets itself to 1. Only solution is stock recovery or reset with triangle away after each boot.
btw: it should be in Q&A section
It's due to you use custom recovery & kernel
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
my flash counter always remains 1 even if I have stock ROM / stock recovery. I had taken it to service center without any problems ^^
Can I install stock recovery with non stock kernel ?
