Here's my "personal" issue:
I have Bluetooth stereo in my car, but phone calls don't sound good at all on it. So I would like for tasker to only let the phone handle phone calls on the phone itself, not through the stereo.
Ideas?
Sent from my EVO
It should be doable, I would set up a profile with 2 contexts,
1st Bluetooth connected
2nd phone ringing or phone connected
Your task would then be speakerphone on. You may need to have a wait in there of a couple seconds if speaker phone isn't coming on.

I absolutely love the Titan but i think i've found a bluetooth bug that makes me want to throw it off a wall.
Try pairing your Titan to your car or bluetooth headset?
When I'm getting out of my car(s) I deactivate bluetooth or hit the button to so the audio switches back to the phone. What happens is I can still hear the person but the mic doesn't work. Anyone else have this issue? This happens about half of the time. I'm thinking its a HTC bluetooth issue.
I posted this in the WP7 thread on neogaf and someone else has found out he has the same problem. Its annoying because i'm trying to finish a conversation and all of a sudden i realize the person on the other end can't hear what I'm saying. My Focus or iPhone's never had this problem in any of my vehicles.
My titan has picked up the habit of connecting to my PC via bluetooth upon an incoming call. I switch the bluetooth to speakerphone in call several times a day; never had this issue.

Click to collapse
You can turn off the speakerphone function on your pc by viewing bluetooth devices, right click your phone, properties, 'Services' tab, uncheck 'Headset Audio Gateway'. Now the phone will slow mute the audio to your pc and start ringing when you get a call.
Bluetooth music streaming to my ford sync nav is ALLOT better quality than my htc arrive. When it switches to voice thou... its horrible. Its like a registry setting needs to be adjusted to increase the BT call volume, not the music streaming...
There seems to be some options missing with the notes Bluetooth, on my nexus one and galaxy nexus i was able to select using my parrot in car Bluetooth for phone calls only and disable anything else, with the note there is no such option.
my car has Dolby surround factory stereo so i have the parrot hooked up to the center channel speaker for phone calls, when a call comes in it disconnects the stereo from that speaker and uses it for hands free. it has always worked out great, till the note that is.
now as soon as i plug the note into the samsung car dock my center channel is always on from the parrot, it also often sends noises through it, like you get when your cell is to close to a cheap set of computer speakers, that data cell switching noise, its very loud and annoying.
again this has never been a problem with my other android devises, they all had a way to switch it to phone calls only.

Does the Parrot work correctly when you only have it connected to the Note via Bluetooth? What Parrot kit do you have and what software version is on it?
ya, it works fine, it is just always on, where as other phones it only cuts out my speaker when it has something to say, like phone call, navigation turn upcoming, stuff like that. i am going to try updating the software, but i really don't see how it will help, its the samsung car dock app that is holding the connection open..
when i look at bluetooth options on other android devices for the parrot pairing, i see 2 things, phone and media, so i can uncheck the media part and only phone calls will go through it. but the note only has one.
maybe the upcoming ICS will have better options.
its a 3200 LS color
When I first started using the samsung car dock, it would connect my phone to the sync bluetooth, and show my in a phone call. All I got was sounds from the phone, till I hit the end call on sync. I got it to stop by going into the voice talk settings and I shut off the auto start speaker, listen via bluetooth, and launch on bluetooth.
Tried to cram as much info into the title as possible.
My mom's phone will turn on the bottom right option (during a call) called Bluetooth Headset when she makes and receives calls in her car. When this setting is on, she is effectively muted, and no one can hear her, but if she turns the option off, then the car's mic picks her voice up as usual.
This only started happening to her a few days ago and I couldn't find any option that she may have clicked to cause this. Any help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance.
Hello all.
I have a big problem with my new brand Huawei P10lite and my car, which has an android 4.4 display. Connected in bluetooth.
The car's handless speakerphone works well the first time in the day. Then, either I make or receive a call, I see the car displaying the number calling, the radio goes low, but there's no audio.
The telephone callling screen displays it's connected to earplugs (!) and even if I change it to bluetooth I get no audio.
In a couple of minutes the telephone turns down the bluetooth. I have to turn it on again.
And need to reboot the phone to use the car's handless speakerphone again.
Anyone could help?
Thank you in advance
Hi, I have a problem with my Mate 10 Pro. Every time I use my car's Bluetooth, I can't hear voice on incoming calls unless I switch to the phone speaker and then again to the Bluetooth system. The same goes for music as sometimes it switches randomly to the phone speaker and then I have to disconnect a2dp in my car and connect again. This is really annoying and frustrating. Any ideas how to solve this? Never had any Bluetooth problems with my previous phones.
