(6inch LCD, 512 RAM, 4g ROM, mtk6577 1ghz dual core, 5.0 MP camera, dual-SIM, android 4.0.9)
I' ve got this from aliexpress.com
And Tried to root, but It became BRICK!!!!!!!!
I already req to seller about firmware, but there is no response:crying::crying::crying:
So, I request you genius. If you got this phone or got firmware of this or any information, please let me know.
If I could get firmware of this, I can handle it through SP flash tool for mediatek.

I am not that kind of experts, so I bring the way make ROM backup from other source.
Please read this page, I think it will work in MTK 6577 device also.

I have a "C3 note 2" too, i want build stock rom for you, but when i create follow link your post, i can't find a file name "MT6577_Android_scatter.txt", i'm try find it in google but file i found not working, all menu check unavailable... can you help me find a correct file ?

yes, it was rooted. I used the tool runme.bat in xda-developers.com and that ok.

i have the firmware for 4.1.1 took me days to find battering chinese web pages and sites with many dead ends, i bricked my c3 note 2 and now it lives again, take this into account tho, even tho firmware says 4.1.1, when clicking fast on it instead of the jelly bean game popping up, it comes up telling me its ics still, so maybe the chinese are faking the revision to sell more phones, either way its a never version than stock 4.0.9. can i post a link here to it, if not message me and i,ll link it to you.

Hello @afghan-gsm-mastermind,
To begin with this ROM is made for the Korean Galaxy Note E160L not the I717. Because of this flashing this ROM wouldn't work. Second, learn how to spell. (No offense)... Also what exactly does this ROM have that the stock ROM doesn't have?

Looking at your previous posts, I noticed that you do have the E160L. Don't know why you are posting in the I717 forum... I noticed that you posted in [rom] [4.1.2] [e160l_kljmc1-v4.1] warning only for shv-160l Just because the website is in chinese doesn't mean anything. Here is the direct link.

There is no way to root it, impossible, No "One-click root" softwares/apks work, and also the fact that it has no "install" in the recovery menu isn't helping, oh and it's in chinese as well

For me it worked at first with kingroot.
Then I found boot.img on needrom, and patched it with magisk (via adb/fastboot), and now I have magisk root

hello thank you for helping me, i tried that method, but it didn't worked. because huawei y3II is a new device recently launched, so i think till then i have to wait for any one click root apk app to be compatible with my device. but still i am thankful for your help.

Have you tried kingroot? PC program and also the android app?
Or framaroot, the android app?
Both, or either, of those seem to root anything.
Hi mak i have the same phone with u but recently i done rooting my device , with kingo root apk u can just search in playstore and download it . well it works fine for me .

No, you cannot root it with Kingo. The app is nothing but unfunctional bloatware and the PC version is also unable to do the job. So consider the tip with Kingo here as an advertisement.
