Thanks for creating this website.
I have a couple of suggestions:
1. Could the file name column be expanded so they don't get truncated? I know you can get the complete file name by hovering over the link, but it would be easier to see if it were completely visible in the list.
2. For the benefit of Linux only users, it would be nice to offer .zip versions of RUU's. It's easy enough for those of us with Windows systems to extract it from the .exe, but some users need the RUU and don't have access to Windows. The shipped-roms.com site has some of the RUU's in zip format but it's hit or miss.
Those items are both minor since there are workarounds for each, just suggestions to make the site a little easier to use.
And thanks again for providing this service. :good:

Yes, as I said there are workarounds, but I've also helped users on these forums who said they didn't have access to a PC at the time they needed the RUU. Those users can probably find a way to get access to a Windows system long enough to extract the rom.zip from the RUU, but that process can be confusing to some users. In many cases it saves a lot of time and effort to just link an RUU zip file that they can rename and flash from the bootloader.
For CDMA Evo 3D users, the zip versions of the RUU's are already available here, but I don't think the GSM or Evo V users have a similar thread.

Well, Im not trying to be an ass in the least, but I really don't have time for that. This RUU site was just a side project cause I got tired of filefactory. Now that football is gone, this site is going to need a lot more work. Between the site, maintaining AOSP on about 5 devices, military life, family, and college work, barely find time in the day.
Its a good idea just can't do that right now.

I didn't take it that way and appreciate that you are very busy. I would be willing to extract all the rom.zip files for the Evo 3D/V RUU's if someone else could help with the website maintenance and you are willing to give them access.
Since most of the users I work with have the Sprint CDMA Evo 3D and the RUU zip files are already available for that model, it's not really a big deal for me, but I'm willing to help if there is enough interest and you are OK with hosting them on your site.

You asking for verification of phones with S-Off? LOL. If you spent 2 minutes looking in the Development section you would find a thread labelled everything S-OFF and in there are posted a bunch of different Hboots INCLUDING an Eng S-Off one. Next time, use the search button.
What cannot be done at the moment is flashing of S-Off Hboots to S-On devices. i.e. no S-Off for S-On devices.

So you're basically posting that you rooted and flashed a custom rom. Very remarkable.

Actually I think that post #11 was trolling. I hope to be proven wrong. If the member can't provide evidence of having s-off then there will be no deal being made. I will make sure of that. If the deal is made and it turns out that the phone does not have s-off the member will be banned without question. If the member claims to have found a way to obtain s-off and is intentionally misleading members to give them false hope... he/she will be banned without question. No playing around here with this.
My phone is S-MAYBE..............................seriously people how hard is it to read before you post.
just checked, mine is S-On, sorry I couldnt help
Just curious as to why you need an S-OFF model. I have one of each, (TELUS models, both with unlocked bootloaders) and the S-ON is not restricted from anything that has been released...AFAIK the main reason for S-OFF is to flash kernels from recovery, but we can do it with fastboot so it really doesn't make that much difference.
Dredd
I could also mess with System files while phone is on which I can't do with S-OFF. I know I can do in recovery, but for someone who's been around since the G1 TelNet days, hook up to comp and ADB system files are something I miss so much.

Hello everyone! I saw that there wasn't a stock rom for this device... so, i decided to hack at the T-mobile RUU to get the necessary files to make this.

They all helped get this here!
ATM, this is in testing. so there isnt a deodexed verison yet. Once i know that the full stock version works i will make a deodexed version for you themers and rom makers out there (it makes life so much easier)
What this does >>
This rom resets the phone back to 100% stock! It removes the following... themes, mods, tweaks, etc.
Downloads:
Test_v1- http://uploading.com/files/5913cecb/T-mobile_1.43_Stock_Rom_testv1.zip/
Please test and report if it works or not... and if it boots up, let me know what doesnt work. thanks
Install Instructions >>
Make nandroid backup
Download & put rom on sdcard
Boot into recovery mode (4ext prefered so the kernel flashes)
Flash the Super Wipe script
Flash this rom
Reboot...
WARNING!
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR PHONE! EVEN IF IT DOES ANY OF THE FOLLOWING... SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUST INTO FLAMES, MELTS A HOLE THROUGH YOUR HAND, OR TRANSFORMS INTO A EVIL FIGHTING ROBOT AND CREATES ITS OWN ARMY ENSLAVING THE HUMAN RACE.

Coming from a Samsung Vibrant which is easy to root and flash roms.
Why are the new HTC devices so difficult, I mean I've been on my samsung for two and half years so now that I finally came back to HTC after 4 years everything seems like a pain in the butt to do. I have to unlock the bootloader in order to root, then I have to unlock s-off which I heard stands for security on/off yet I still don't understand it and to do that I need to do some wire trick that is still really not explained that well, and all this so I can flash a custom rom.
I'm curious though as to how this s-off method was recently released how have people used and created other roms if this was the first s off method?
I apologize if I come off sounding like a noob, but HTC is different from what I remembered on the G1 and myTouch 3G.

Please do your own research before flashing anything to your phone.
All of the files below were leaked from reliable sources and are already available on XDA (if you know where to look).
The reason I chose to upload and create this thread is to centralize the files in one place with reliable hosting. Many of the files I collected are hard to download since they were originally uploaded to sites that limit the bandwidth available to free users. This meant that the files were not always available when needed. All the credit goes to the members that originally leaked the ROMs and I have given credit to the sources.
The files are uploaded to my public folder on Dev-Host (a file hosting provider that has been very reliable in my experience). Downloading and uploading took me a lot of time and effort and I also donated a small amount of money to Dev-Host to increase my storage space to accommodate these files.
However I don’t want your donations, if you want to show your gratitude just “push thanks” or donate to XDA or the members (like Football) that actually leaked the ROMs.***I got all of these RUU's from Football, TMartin & fotadl.htc.com except Globalive 1500.3 which is from bbs.gfan.com***
Help if you can!
Can you provide a Mirror?
If you have the means and are willing to provide a reliable mirror for any or all of these files please do so and post the link in this thread.
Just make sure that you are not linking to hosting that is not your own!
If we have any user provided mirrors I will update the first post accordingly.

That is really outside the scope of this thread. I am only comfortable giving advice when I am 100% sure that it is correct. My phone is s-off and I am never going back to 1.43 therefore I have never even considered and researched the steps to downgrade a s-on device.
I have a few ideas but I suggest doing your own research or post your question in the correct thread. Thanks.

I went to the Stock ICS ROM, but the radio performance was too bad for me, so after trying to deal with it, but unable to, I am trying to go back to Stock Gingerbread.
I am S-on, unlocked bootloader, and rooted. I have downloaded stock RUU, PH85IMG_Ruby_TMOUS_1.43.531.3_Radio_1.08.550L.19DC _30.66.550L.08D_release_228638_signed.zip, and was getting 'main version older' error. I fixed that manually, All in one .bat did not work. Now I get hboot Version is older. What do I do now? I had to lock the bootloader, so the PH85IMG file would be recognized.
Just trying to get back to stock.

You need S-OFF to go back to stock. You cannot downgrade HBOOT with S-ON, you can only use different roms with the same or a newer HBOOT using the mainver fix, not an older. The unbricking project is out now so just go for S-OFF. It's the only way to get back to any of the versions of Gingerbread (AFAIK)

I am on mobilicity, where are the roms for mobilicity?
Seeing how the wind rom is called 'globalive', would it work on mobilicity?.
How do I flash these stuff, "the globative rom" on my phone? I am a noob for the HTC amaze and I would like some help. I am on beastmod v.2.3.0. How do I get from that to stock rom, that would work on mobilicity?

Again this outside the scope of this thread, please do your own research before flashing anything to your phone. Maybe someday I will write a how to guide but honestly I have given very little thought to how to flash anyone's phone but my own.
That is the issue I have with giving advice to you or anyone else...I do not know what you have done to your phone up till now, I do not your experience level and I do not want to give you bad advice. Thanks.

So coming back here to check up on what has been going on with Amaze development, I must say things are looking good. But, I also noticed that xboarder is gone and there was some huge blow-up over RUU files. Over at the new site he joined, it mentions that the T-Mobile RUU that ended up here was broken. Is the T-Mobile 1.43 RUU listed here a new one that isn't broken? Apparently, they have good RUUs at the other site, but are a bit selfish and don't want to share (something that isn't theirs in the first place).

As the first post states: All of these RUUs were leaked by Football & TMartin except Globalive 1.46.1500.3 which is from a Chinese website (bbs.gfan.com).
None of these files are broken since they come from well known, reliable and respected sources. A reliable source would never risk damaging peoples phones by intentionally releasing broken files. The broken RUU was (intentionally) released by someone at that other site, and therefore nothing released there will EVER be part this collection.
All of these files came from the sources I have credited, and I can say that with 100% confidence because I personally went straight to the source to collect them for everyone to enjoy.
I am not upset that you brought this up but moving forward I see no reason to discuss it further.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. After reading all I did, I just wanted to be sure. To be honest, I can't believe they released an intentionally bad RUU, so very childish . And with that, I'll say no more on the topic.
This is the raw Verizon OTA DNA 2.04.605.2 710RD OTA update.

Even if we did update it, couldn't we do the Stock RUU in windows to get back?

i am by no means a developer but I did unzip the file and peek around there is a folder called firmware.zip and inside it has what appears to be all new
boot.img
hboot_signedbyaa.img
radio.img
recovery.img
and a file called android-info.txt with the text
modelid: PL8320000 cidnum: VZW__001 mainver: 2.04.605.2 btype:1 aareport:1 hbootpreupdate:12
so yeah i wouldn't flash this.. but who am I to tell you what to do..

Don't think so the RUU will tell you that you have the wrong version and can't go back. Its forward only. The other issue is we don't have DEV Unlock from HTC. S-Off wouldn't be a big deal if we had official unlock from HTC that's were we are getting screwed. Otherwise I would flash to stock, update, use HTC Unlock then pull the ROM, but we can't do that here.
The devs will work magic soon... no rush
When I get home tonight(in 5 hours) I'll flash it and try to unlock.. But i am sure within the hours someone will have already done that and reported

There are some landscape pics in there I wonder if it brings landscape to the home screens/launcher

Am I correct in saying the radio changes can't be flashed because we are S-off?
I'm virtuous to hear what changes Dsb finds in the kernel that he can use.

I wish I was S-OFF but I'm still S-On which for this stuff can be a setback. Like I've been saying its HTCs Dev Unlock that is screwing us/me. Damn you Verizon and HTC.
We should still be able to flash the radios but we need someone to make us a update.zip. correct me if I'm wrong but they should be signed by HTC and if prepared correctly should be flashable.
Edit:
I'm not sure that our hboot looks for an update.zip.

i agree completely....XDA is so bloated already with the amount of devices, we REALLY need to combine these two, sooner than later.
To be honest, i will most likely only be following the international thread if we do keep them separate. The development over there is exploding....i usually did the same with my Inspire 4G and the Desire HD forums....

What files are the "system" you are talking about ? I thought we still needed correct CID to flash the firmware package updates? I'm talking about the firmware updates like Mike1986 posted..http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2182823 This would be an entire firmware update.. at least all the important stuff. I assume we can flash it all now?
As far as radios...for ATT guys and gals if you are on Build 1.26.502.10 Then you already have the same radio. Radio 4A.14.3250.13_10.33.1150.01L
If you are on Build 1.26.502.6 Then you have the older radio. Radio 4A.13.3231.20_10.30.1131.05L and you may benefit from updating.
My phone shipped from ATT with the latest firmware. So the point is Check your radio version before flashing.. You might not need it.
Is there any other reading on this topic?
Or is it as simple as just treating the AT&T version like the international and just flashing whatever kernels/recoveries/roms we please?
If there is no blood offering needed, the AT&T version gains much more dev support and makes it much more attractive...
Sorry if I took any info wrongly, but it almost seems to good to be true in my mind.

They're the same internal development codename. TMOUS, EMEA LTE, and ATT USA are all M7_UL in the bootloader, as far as HTC is concerned, they're the same phones with different radio bands enabled and disabled.
How do we file a petition to join the forums? It should be combined. In the past, it made sense to keep the forums separated.
Has anyone else noticed that a reboot brings back all uninstalled bloatware back...? And also any change in system (like using AdFree for changing host files are reverted back.

This ^ Any changes made to /system/ while booted will be reverted upon reboot. For anything to stick it needs to be added/removed via recovery (while not booted). Or (if still on the stock kernel, as I assume most custom kernel's already do this), you can do this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230341

From what I understand TWRP's Dumlock is for flashing kernel's through recovery. Previous HTC Bootloaders on other devices would not allow flashing to the boot partition through recovery, so fastboot flashing boot.img was necessary unless you were s-off. Dumlock circumvented this. From what I've read, Dumlock is not necessary on our devices, as our current bootloader does not block the flashing of the boot partition from recovery (as long as your dev/chef includes the necessary scripting for the kernel/boot.img to be flashed during the ROM install). Keep in mind that any OTA could carry a new bootloader that will break this, so tread cautiously..
I cannot find it
I cannot find it...does anyone know where i can find the factory rom for AT&T i didn't do a backup and need to return the phone..
