I would recommend taking a look at either universal extractor http://www.legroom.net/software/uniextract or magicISO which are both capable of opening .img files.

Not sure what you mean. I unzipped and it's a boot.img and a txt file.

Its a compressed zip I made on my phone. hboot will not read it if its compressed. I need Windows to just add the files to a uncompressed zip container. Aka just storage no compression.
I'm all set now. Thanks anyways. Mods close this thread. Or let it be buried.

Do you mean yaffey?
If you dump the system.img with flashtool>tools (or advanced) > sin editor you can open the created system.yaffs2 image with yaffey and extract all the contents

.... using mobile client, can't upload, why don't you just download any stock based ROM in forum and extract the file you need?

I unzipped CM but I could not find the file . There no TW_touch.ogg in system/media/audio/ui

No, you have to download a stock bases ROM, STOCK BASED !!!

Copy your hosts file to desktop,or anywhere,edit with notepad, save n replace the old unedited host file. :thumbup:
