I would just use the cover that comes with the 800 if you want one. An otterbox will make the phone unnecessarily ugly. I have been using my 800 for about a year now without a case, and it has been dropped in the road a few times.
I recommend the "Airflow" case by "Works With Nokia", you can find them on Amazon. Other than that, the official rubber case is good, and comes in a few colours.

The Original Nokia Lumia 800 case that comes along with the phone is the best. Otterbox is tough but it will hide the beauty of Lumia 800.
You can buy any smartphone cases online after its release date.

I have a krussel case for my nokia 6620. I thought another krussel would not be a bad choice. Although if anybody has a wonderful case they can suggest that is great.
Basically i want a case that is always on, since i can drop the unit when its not in the case that was included.
I have the PDAir Aluminium one, and think it's great. I'm very rough with my electronic toys, since they are "tools" for me, and a good tool has to stand me Also bought some pretty leather case (don't remember the name), because I thought it would be a bit smaller than the PDAir, but it wasn't, and you don't see the screen with those, so I'm back to PDAir. Looking at all the scratches it already has, it seems it does it's job well...

Yup I got the solid aluminium for travel and running around and the Krussel Cabriolet is on order for evening out or light use.

Hello there. I have the silver aluminum case. I really liked the case after I got use to it. The only problem, my phone would freeze. Lock up totally. Only way out was to hard reset the phone. I know this sounds rediculous, but I've ruled out everything else. Ever since I stopped using the case my phone hasn't needed even a soft reset.

I purchased the horizontal belt mount version last month from the same manufacturer. Service and build quality was great. Received in 8 days. Considering this is manufactured in China doubt you will be able to find a custom made case like this for a lower price.

Received mine and I am very very impressed.
Totally customised case to you spec with choice of cover, internal lining, clasp mechanism, belt loop and case design.
In fact I've ordered an alternative design, before the next new HTCs come out and they stop supporting our lovely HD's.
And if you ask nicely, the fella who controls the ebay account.. He can change even the colour of the stitching.
I ordered a case from him, and asked if I could have white or grey stitching, and he said yes.. Any colour..

Search for: "easecase touch hd" - I've just ordered my second one of these (an A2) to go with my D3 which is very protective but a little fat for a suit jacket.
The build quality is amazing and the price is justified. I also asked for a customisation and was entirely accommodated.
I cannot recommend these highly enough, but can't post pictures from here, although the eBay postings do have a lot of accompanying imagery.

I had another thread discussing the E5 model of the case (one that resembles a wallet) and I had been holding off on buying one until my 'guinea pig'... er, I mean until I heard back from another member who was also ordering that case.
But the sheer number of positive comments on here have made up my mind.

i bought a b1 model~and itz really good, i have a simliar wallet from GG Armani~~ what i can tell is the easecase is compareble with the armani's work~~however, i have been using the wallet for 4 yrs though~~
I was going to buy this Piel Frama case for my Rhodium, but I can't really see from the pictures whether I have access to the mini-USB or not. Anyone who can enlighten me? Can I use my headset while using this case?
Of course, I could upgrade to this wonderful case, but it is more expensive ordering from Spain, and it does look a lot more bulky than the classic model. EDIT: Ordering from Norway, it's around 400 NOK for the Classic case from the US vs close to 700 NOK for the iMagnum one from Spain.
Alternatively I have been looking at this PDair case which is a good deal cheaper, but I haven't found any reports on its durability and general usefulness yet. Did anyone here try it out? If so, is it any good?

when i bought my TP2 i got a case very similar to the second one you post (this wanderful case)
i never used it.
it makes the Ppc huge. extremely unconfortable.
at the moment i am using a case which was designed for iphone or something like that.
it has a clip for the belt and a hook that goes on the jeans. it's basically like one of that sock but a bit better.
it's much slimmer, easy to access, secure and when i use the phone i don't have the case attached.
my suggestion is not to buy that cases, but go into some shop and try some up

That aluminum case looks like the tp2 would slide around in there. I've tried a few cases, but they all added too much bulk. Did find a cheap clear plastic one, and it's awesome. Looks great, fits better than any other ones, and adds hardly any bulk. CHeck this thread out.

Comes in 2 configurations, 1 for belt clip and other for pocket. You cannot have both as there is a notch at the back which is interchangeable depending on how you want to use the case.
* Another thing, I believe this case was designed more for the Touch Pro 2 for t-mobile as I don't have issues like the other reviewers had.

I am in the same boat trying to find a nice case that my phone does not have to be removed from to be used. In the past I went with Krusell cases and that was great for many years and different devices now the Krusell for the TP2 is known to be junk.

Just got my Touch pro2, with a htc pouch and htc case.
Case is fine, but I dislike to have to open it to get the phone out. Also, I can't use the usb while in the case, another deal breaker.
The pouch is better, but would like more protection.
What I found perfect is the slide case I got with my Touch pro. Sure one can get better protection, but considering how fast was to use the case and how small the case is, the phone looks like new without any scratches.
Any recommendations for such a case?

...the clear acrylic case from the AT&T store. It is a 2 piece case that snaps on AND has a touch sensitive screen protector. I do not like the plastic belt clips as I have bumped/snagged them on things and broken the clip. I prefer a holster type case (horizontal) as i carry another object directly on my side/hip.

I am so fed up that I cannot keep my rubber case on my Lumia 800 clean. No matter what I do it stays dirty. I see Amazon have an airflow case for the 800 but only in black and majenta :-\ They are a really cool case as my friend has one for his HTC. Does anyone know where I can get a cyan coloured one?? Seems it is a Nokia genuine part but I simply cannot understand why they do not offer in cyan when it is one of the most popular colours; well ahead of majenta anyway.

I was looking for the same color too, no luck so far.
Have anybody tried fitting a BlackBerry DTEK50 case onto our Idol4? I know they're basically the same phones but I am not 100% sure, and I don't want to spend money on something that may not even fit. There are no good cases for Idol4 here in Poland, so that would be my last hope :crying:

I found 2 really amazing cases on eBay... Military grade material and drop tested.. shock proof. Tempered glass screens included. Under 20 bucks.. and also another technically designed clear case with lining of rubber strips in delicate spots.. only 9 bucks.. Unfortunately, the shipping cost to Poland would be twice the price of the case, so that's a no-no for me :/ I've ordered an NGP Incipio case for Blackberry DTEK50, we'll see if it fits. I'll update once I get it, in case someone would want to do the same.

OK, it came today and everything fits perfectly so if anyone is hesitating whether to buy one or not, you're free to go Just keep in mind I'm talking only about the previously mentioned case, and I have no idea if any other one fits.
