Use iGo primo . this is the best app navigator in these days, accurate and very fast.
The navigation app of Google maps is very good for directions. I personally prefer it to others.

Pass. Google maps has options for downloading maps, once downloaded, it can work offline with or without gps.

Although I appreciate your answer, I'm aware of all the rules that tell users to use the search function... I asked this because I have no access to a desktop PC and the search function on our xda app is terrible and yeilds no results. I was hoping that someone could just be nice and drop me a link to help me out...

Lol thank you! Maybe we can figure out who on here made this app and ask if we can get the search feature extended to search the forum/sub forum/thread or post that your currently viewing instead of searching the whole darn site. Makes sense right? I mean the website has that feature, but not the app?! Us XDA app users all deserve a fully functional search

I don't know for that, as I know we can only control our device via samsung dive or what I forgot the name, but only to lock, wipe data, search the location of the mobile. I never found any app can do like u said

ya there ws such an app once . . . lol . . m nt sure if its still available on google play . . . its task mainly ws to get the phone back whn lost , by remotely turning feature ON & OFF . . . . apology for not remembering its name . . . it ws rated high as 4.5 thosedays with +ve comments & name started with J . . . lol .

He means search XDA or Google as this question has been answered before.
I dont think its possible as lots of people have tried and nobody has reported it working.

As I said there is no solution yet.
If its software related then wait for a dev to include a fix in a custom Rom but if its hardware restrictions then it will never work.

I have a question.. I hope u can help me.. I saw that other giys have google play store interface different.. Mine is just apps.. When i enter google play store it sends me to apps.. Another people got some features i dont know how to explain.. It is more nice.. Is this thing just in other countries or carriers??

They really can skip the new Google play store. It is plain ugly and less intuitive. Plain boring ugly. The one right now is a nice looking one.

Go to Google Play Store and search for "Fake GPS location", and you will have to do something in settings i think. Ask if you need more details, will try to help

I used the first one and i think it works pretty well, but i can't tell you what is the best. It up to you which you think fits you best
