Im in highschool, and A lot of my friends have snapchat so I have one too. I decided to try out AOSP 4.2 Evervolv and i am LOVING it. However it appears snap chat isn't available. Is it just me? Or did they not update it to 4.2?

Yes CM10 works fine, which is android 4.1, but my question was for android 4.2
That's what I implied. According to then it should work fit android 4.x is this the only app you can't load?

well it says "your device is incompatible" on the google play store, and i thought it couldnt be true, since 99% of the apps available for 4.1 should, theoretically, work for android 4.2... so i thought it just has to do with the ROM :/

I can't find it in my Play Store either. (Still feel like a child when I call it "the Play Store".) It's not on the Google Play web "Play Store" either. I use Tapatalk, so I haven't searched for it in quite some time. Interesting though.
Yea...when I was making this thread I kept typing 'market'...lol. I wonder if it was pulled for some reason

Google Play Store makes our phones sound like a Play Thing. Just sayin. I dunno about it disappearing though. I'd say PM a Moderator and check again later today.
The xda app isn't on there currently. There was an issue with the Google checkout or some jazz like that and they are working on the problem.

My phone just downloaded it automatically after rooting and putting a new rom on there this morning, so it definitely exists although the search results may show otherwise. I'll check my play store when I get a chance and let you know what I find.
--- Turns out you're absolutely right. It's just not there at all when I search on my phone. Must be a bug in the "Play" place.
As before mentioned, XDA tweeted about this the other day to inform everyone that the apps are temporarily unavailable on the store. They should be back soon hopefully.

When i open my google play or marketplace it always say server error. Last night i just dl opera mini then the next day it is always server error. Im also amazed by this problem because i googled this one but almost all post related to this cannot be solved. I tried clearing the data of the app. Reboot. But still no avail. I just want to get a clean answer , so all android users experiencing this would also benefit. Thanks
Solved: flashed my s2 woth speedmod kernel then flash after rooting. Install marketplace enabler. Working now

Try clearing Google Play Store and Google Framework Services data in: settings>applications>manage applications>(find both and select the "clear data" button). See if that helps.

Okay, try this: http://code.google.com/p/market-enabler/downloads/list
This app basically fools your Android phone and sets different provider/area that you are using.
When you run the app go to Setting list tab and chose one of providers, you will need to press and hold on your chosen provider/area! And chose “fake this provider now” option. (your play app needs to be shutdown before this step for this to work)

Region Dependent maybe?
I'm not sure though but Google Now may be region dependent? I have the same problem with the recent 4.1.2 update here in the Philippines. I will try to install a UK firmware and well see how it goes.

I would like to thank all you guys and follow up on this.
I think I might have asked this question in the wrong way from the beginning.
What I should have asked is "can any member here click on the Goggle Play Store app and find the TeslaLed Flashlight app right there"?
No one here said that I won't find the app at the Store: what they said was go to your phone's browser and search there for the TeslaLed app.
Thanks to you I did find it and I downloaded it to my DNA.
Also the obvious fact that I'm new at this shows that I was not even aware that I might not find that app at the Store.
On the other hand if any of you DID find the app at the store then I have other problems which are better left alone.
It's better that I don't know that everybody except me can find that app at the Store.
Deep down there is a lot about software that leaves me (totally) in the dark.
Dan
