yeah there is. one is made specifically by motorola for the droids, I tried and am using it: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.motorola.dlight&feature=search_result
the first time you open it it be be on the "on" position, but the led wont be on. you gotta toggle it off and on again for it to work from then on.

Worked like a charm for me. Thanks
found a problem with it, the LED stayed on when I hit a menu button and jumped to the home screen. Task manager says the app is not running. When you open Droidlight again no light bulb appears. Anybody else have that problem?
Is there a root app to make it brighter? This brightness level won't work for me.

Had the same problem with the motorola app. In fact (I use ADW so not sure if that was playing a part) last night while playing I ran in to a situation with the led stuck on and the app wouldn't relaunch. Very flaky. I think I'll wait until someone makes a widget app specifically for us.

Tiny Flashlight + LED should work on Atrix. Also, it has a widget.

I had the same issue with Tiny Flashlight that I did with DroidLight (I actually tried it first). (Though I will say the LED never got stuck on - it was just slow and would get confused between the state of the widget and the state of the LED).

Flash light app LED

Anyone know of an app that works with ICS? I can't get Tiny LED to work.

Are you referring to Tiny Flashlight + LED? That one works for everyone. If it's not working for you, I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
You can put the widget right on the home screen, where it shall stay until the great efpophis works his magic one day.

If you mean, that you want to use the flash as a flashlight, search for flashlight in playstore and download an app, there are much flashlight apps!

I use Tiny Flashlight, and I like it. It has a nice widget too.

Flashlight

Anyone know if I can restore the flashlight backup from HTC to this phone through titanium without any problems?
Not sure. But did you know there is a built in flash light widget?

I downloaded Tiny Flashlight as the built in assistive light isn't as bright.

Someone on Youtube discovered that if you have two flashlight apps with different brightnesses, you can turn them both on and it will give you a third brightness level in between the two apps. It's easier if they both have widgets.

Flashlight question

On my old Motorola photon Q 4g, I could use the flash as a light. With this phone it lights the screen as the light. Using flashlight fun (free version). Are there any flashlight apps that use the camera flash as the light source?

This is the app I've used for years on all my phones.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devuni.flashlight
Download apex launcher, long press screen, add shortcut, activity, scroll down to settings, look for torch or flash light option, select it, press the shortcut, enable the feature.
Now whenever your screen is off hold in the volume button and you have a flashlight
Thanks for the help. Went with tiny flashlight
