My new Archos 101 updated from 2.0.54 to 2.1.04 . And I installed the Gappinstaller_V5-final. But I cant sign in my google account. Anyone can help me?

I purchased an S5820 Samsung Ace in Shanghai. It was the only one that I found that could work on China Mobile's 3G service.
Used Amazon.com for apps and downloaded a ton of apps from freewarelovers.com
Only problem left is that there is : I can get my gmail in the mail app, but I cannot sync contacts or my calendars because it doesn't give me Google in the accounts list.
They have all these chinese providers there: KaiXin, and RenRen, as well as Skype as possible Accounts to ADD but NO Google...
Anyone have any ideas?

Weren't the Chinese govt and Google at odds. They trying to block Google in China

Phone is Samsung Ace S5820, a special version made for China Mobile... I doubt there is anyone that made such a special rom...

In the Accounts, there is an option for Exchange / Active Sync account…
Username is: m.google.com/[email protected]
Domain is m.google.com
You have to let it fail once or twice, then it will give you the option to edit the username and domain, which it will have totally screwed up in the process.
I had the same problem, i resolved it by rooting, loading clockworkmod recovery, backing up then using CWM installed from a sdcard zip file one of the following from
wiki.rootzwiki.com/Google_Apps

The stock roms coming together with Huawei devices are loaded with Chinese mail accounts. I can't sync my google account to my phone. And therefore, I can't access to google play. ): My rooted huawei model is C8500 and I want to make to google play bcoz of I cant root my ICSed Sony Tab S. ): I have to root my droids bcoz Google play isn't available for my country. So, I hav to use VPNs... Is there any possible way to Access to Google with my rooted Huawei unrooted Sony Tablet S? Pls, help... Realli need your help. Thanks for the advance.
