Seidio Case - HTC Droid DNA

This is the Surface Case from Seidio, I just opened their website today and saw this!
http://www.seidioonline.com/htc-droid-dna-surface-case-black-p/csr3htdda-bk.htm
I'm really happy to see Seidio finally releasing some of their products for us, I'm deciding between picking up this black version of it or just waiting for the red one, or just waiting entirely on the Active case with built in kick-stand. Feel free to give your experience with seidio cases or anything seidio related

This is a lovely case I might order one as well I might wait to see if it drops in price 30 bucks isn't bad but I'm a cheap dude. Ill go on eBay see if its cheaper lol...good find tho

I'm going to definitely wait for their kickstand case. It's a no brainer for $5 more IMO. Thanks for the info though. Definitely glad as well that seidio decided to build cases for our device.

well if someone does get this case let me know well it does with screen protectors cause the case i have now does not like my screen protector at all

The Active case is thicker. I've been waiting for the Surface case and holster combo. Thanks for the head's up.

It would be great of they made an obexcase for our device. Then the water proofnesswould no longer be a question

i just noticed this today too.. too bad i'm waiting for the active case with metal kickstand combo... and the money to buy it...

Just purchased the surface combo. Been waiting for this! I need a holster at work and nothing else has been very good imo for the DNA so far, at least that I have tried. Hoping it is as nice as my prior surface/innocase case combos were and that case is not too bulky.

Let me know how the surface case works for you when you get it! Would like to see how it plays with edge to edge screen protectors! If possible could you also do a mini review of the case?

Looks nice but the surface scratched the he'll out my my evo 4G and the soft touch texture started coming off... I'll wait for the reviews

Here my review on Seido Surface Combo. I really think Seido has done a great job at find the right balance with this case. It adds some protection for screen and camera by keeping them from connecting directly to flat surface. All of the edges are also covered. The thickness of case I think is just right. I was worried about added bulk as I have not liked any other case I have tried so far except the verizon shell which really adds nothing. Seido kept the back with same curve as phone. I am starting to actually like feel of device in case better than naked phone as phone does not feel quite as fragile or potentially as easy to drop. It is a bit easier to type in landscape mode as you have more to hold onto. Volume rocker and power button are easy to locate by feel now, and I have yet to accidently hit the volume rocker with the clever way this was designed. Closing usb port is not quite as easy with phone in case, but not overly hard either. The notification light on back has its own cutout also. Seido also did a great job at solvong the issue where speaker volume gets muted on some surfaces. I put the phone with this case on all the places where I cannot hear naked phone ring and the ringtone came out loud and clear. Have not yet tried case with a screen protector, but will try to get one so I can let people know how it works with them. Holster is great. Yes, it is a bit big to carry at waistband, but that is just because phone is the size it is. This holster manages to allow easy access while keeping phone secure (wore all day yesterday and no issues). The release hinge is a bit bigger than on prior Seido holsters, but it seems like it needs to be that way to add necessary stability. Has same swivel mechanism as other holsters also. Easy to put on and take off once you know how Seido cases are. Noticed no damage on phone from case, though could tell where soft lining touched phone (made a line that like fingerprints can be wiped away). Easy reach all eadges of screen; case does not hinder anything (with otterbox defender had trouble touching outer edges of screen). All in all, love this case and holster combo and it is definitely what will stay on my DNA from now on! If you have specific questions, let me know. Will try to get some pictures if I can find my actual camera.

Wow thank you so much for this review, i can now safely go ahead and order this case from them now, unless i can find it on Amazon now. Either way you've closed any doubts about this case other then the who screen protector deal, let us know when you get your hands on one and how it plays with the case, thanks for this review once again i know many others will enjoy this as well!

Forgot to mention phone charges wirelessly through case with no problem.

Pictures of Seido Surface case and Holster are attached. They include front view, back view, side view, top view, bottom view, 3 views in holster and 2 views with only half of case on to give better idea of size of case.
I tried one of the verizon screen protectors. They do not go edge to edge so work fine with the case. Put one of the protectors such that it went to very bottom edge of phone (on phone in pictures). The case does lift it a bit if phone is held just right, but I could use the plastic thing to push bubbles away to lift edge of case just enough to push screen protector under the edge. I imagine it will be a bit of a challenge for true edge to edge protectors with this case, but might work after some tweaking. Seido is working on their own screen protectors for this phone so maybe they will look into the issue.

that's great news, i have an external battery as well as a smartwatch i can control music with, so being able to keep the phone on the holster while doing either, and both, is great news

Glad it will work for you. I am extremely pleased with purchase of this combo!

i will still be waiting for the active case to release

Otterbox X10 Commuter Series Case

Just wondering if anyone's gotten an Otterbox for their X10 yet?
Sony Xperia X10 Commuter Series Case
They didn't have a model for the X10 when I bought my current case, but I'd be interested to see some user comments. My dad has an Otterbox for his iPhone and it seems quite sturdy, though also very bulky. Not sure which series it is.
Just ordered mine... will post when I receive it.
I've got an otterbox and it is slightly bulky. Obviously a lot of people choose the SE x10 for it's looks and these are completely covered up and it's nowhere near as comfortable in your hand.
However,... having dropped mine 3 times now and each time resulted a loud slaps as it hit the floor, I'll keep my otterbox and bulky x10 rather than one smashed to bits
I've been using mine for about a week now. Like all OtterBox stuff, it's built to protect the device. I don't like that case rides the edge of the screen. It's hard to play some games or hit the star in a Google Reader article on the mobile site. It can also be harder to pull down the notification bar, pull up the app drawer, and hot keyboard keys that are on the edge.

Did u receive it yet? What do you think of it?
I have been using the case for a few weeks myself now. The case as others have mentioned does add some bulk to the phone though it keeps it rather protected as all Otterbox's do. My only issue was setting up the protective screen cover, I found mind to have one to many airbubbles while setting it up. Otherwise it's great for a case built to protect.
i have the otterbox impact series which is not as bulky as the commuter series. the impact series is just the inner rubbery silicone part but it does absorb shock when the phone falls and is really neat to move around with.
I got my otterbox impact case back around Thanksgiving. For a rubber type cover case I really like it. The fit and finish is very good and the shipping was super fast especially with a holiday. Yes, it makes the phone a bit bulkier but I like it so far. It is easy enough to take on and off so no biggie there. I will see how I like the premolded buttons but I may cut them out with a utility knife to expose the real buttons underneath. Not sure yet. The rubber is soft but not "sticky" like silicone cases so hair, fuzz, dust etc doesn't stick to it. It even came with a clear screen protector which I thought was very cool. I have one on my phone, but now I have a spare too. All in all I think for a protective covering it was a good purchase.
Since then, I have noticed that the top of the case where the ear hole and the proximity sensors are has stretched out a bit from putting it into my pocket etc. I called Otterbox to explain what happened to them. They are sending me out an other one at no charge and I dont have to ship back the old one. Very good customer service so far from my experiences.
I LOVE mine! It's better then every other case I have tried for my x10. I have had a hard plastic, soft rubber and this. This is the only case I can ACTUALLY use the camera buttons with
I love it!
Very solid construction for my clumsy ass!
With the Otterbox Impact, what do those of you who have it think of having the case edge come right to the edge of the screen? Any problems with touching things at the edge of the screen or dragging widgets from one launcher screen to the next (for example)?

I find that having the case edge come right to the edge of the screen makes almost no difference to usability. Pressing the hard buttons is as simple as without the case on, except for the camera button; it requires a more fine touch. As for moving widgets and dragging them to a different screen, it is a little hard sometimes as you can only move your finger so far until it hits the protector and you just hold it there waiting for something to happen. However, the protector is flexible enough that you can push it outwards, so that the touch screen will detect the response to go to the next screen.
As this is related to the the the thread, I am going to post it as well. For those who may want try the Impact series instead of the Commuter series, they are selling it on newegg.com for $8.99 USD. Just search for 'otter xperia'. Free shipping available.
I will link it if anyone is interested.

i don't have issues with mine. when i try to get to the notification bar i slide my finger from the case itself and then drops on the screen and the bar comes down easily.
and i use one screen maximized to 6 columns by 8 rows. makes it easier for me. but daily use with the protector on is seemless for me.
also what i do when silicone cases stretches a bit is apply a little heat to it by using a blow dryer (take out phone first of course) and when it cools it gets firmer. my old silicone case for the k850i was stretched and i did that to get it back in shape.
I have no issues with the case coming tot he edge of the screen either. My only issue thus far has been at the very top of the phone, where the case is cut out for the earhole and the proximity sensors. Mine stretched out a bit, so they are sending me a new one. I honestly dont think it made any difference to me being able to hear, but it could have been screwing with the sensors.
I stopped using my otterbox lately, for some reason my phone kepyt shutting down atleast once a day, since I stopped using i no issues yet
@john398: Perhaps the phone was getting too warm? No breathing space per se?

Thank you for stating. I have ordered it rightaway. But one more question. Does it leave any mark on the body of x10.
I have had the otterbox since the first day I had the phone.
I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anybody. It doesn't fit right at all...it almost feels too big.
Saying that it has saved my phone a number of times from some pretty shocking drops.
One time I actually launched the phone directly into a concrete pavement by accident. Neither the phone or the case were even scratched.

Do you recommend the Otterbox Defender Case?

I have the otterbox commuter but wanted a more protection without a big bulk. What do you guys think about the defender?

It is much better than I expected. My only complaint is that the height of the sides next to the screen are so tall that it makes touching the edges of the screen difficult. Other than that, it seem well built and it seems to give good protection. It's no Ballistic HC or Trident Kraken though.
I loved it on my Evo 4g, and I just received one for my evo 3d today. I am loving it as well.
You can get them cheaper on amazon if you feel like saving about 20 bucks.
My phone was ran over by a full size 2500 dodge RAM and survived without a scratch on it .the case was pretty messed up though, but my phone survived so it did its job

its pretty huge....and it makes me kind of sad that such a good looking phone looks like that after you put the case on it, but if i have to choose between being protected from a 5 kiloton nuclear blast or having a cool looking phone ill choose the former

I totally agree, this is my only real complaint with it as well
I usually wear cargo shorts during the summer (not some hipster wearing skinny jeans) so I've never had an issue with the size and fitting it in a pocket. During the winter it's usually in my coat pocket so size is never an issue there either. I like the grippyness of the silicone on the outside, and I like how the camera and all the ports are covered and protected.
I love mine. Was going to also get the Ballistic HC when it came out but now I may just keep using the Defender

I love mine, but like two others pointed out, it's very hard to hit the left/right edge of the screen for things like pulling down the menu in landscape or moving icons between homescreens.
Other issue is the top portion by the speaker is cut-out for the screen protector, letting dust/etc in under the screen protector and smudging the forward camera. wish there could of been another solution, but overall it's an awesome case
Great Case
Highly recommend it. It makes the phone big though, so not recommended if you like to keep it slim. My opinion is Protection > Size.
I agree, the steep edges on the sides make tapping the screen on the edges a pain (the 'q/1' and 'p/0' keys on the keyboard have to be touched with the narrow side of your fingertip, same with games that have small menu buttons on the edge, or if I have the screen in landscape mode, its nearly possible to pull down the task bar because you need a farther reach to the edge than your fingers will allow.
ALSO, surprisingly the built in screen protector doesn't do a very good job at keeping dust out, scratches, yes, dust, no. A drop of water even managed to squeeze past the speaker and the edge of the screen protector and work its way to the middle of my damn screen, leaving water spots and dust. Taking it apart constantly to clean both your phone and email the inside of your screen protector is a huge annoyance because it takes me at least 2-3 minutes of prying it open without feeling like I'm going to break the plastic or snap off a clip that secures the case together when closed. I find that it needs cleaning at least once a week, but its just one of the few cons you have to consider when you want the best protection. No kickstand, but the belt clip holster sort of makes for an extremely bulky substitute. All in all, it's like the hulk, built like a tank, ugly as hell, but it's nearly indestructible. I do wish I could see and feel my beautiful investment in all its slim, sleek and sexy glory again, even run my fingers along the glass, but my luck would be that it would slip out of my hands or pocket, hit the edge of the plastic, chip its way to the glass, crack the screen, scratch the rest, create earthquakes, bring about the apocalypse, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria, etc.
The Defender seems very well built, protecting my phone from any damage. It becomes a very bulky phone compared to no case at all. As has been mentioned, it's difficult to put the checkmarks on the left or right side, because of the bevel of the sides. I was afraid when I bought it that the cover for the screen would inhibit responsive touch, but it works as if it's not even covered. Very responsive. I'd highly recommend this case for those who are clutsy and drop their phone often.

Same here across the board... Love mine.
A little bit of a pain when I have to swap batteries but not too bad.
With Juice defender ultimate I easily get 10 hours of mixed use out of my cheap ebay batteries and 16 hours out of the original so I normally can get to a charger before needing to charge.
Love mine and think I will probably stay with this case for a while . The only issue I ran into with this case was some callers said I sounded muffled . Now if that has to do with the case or an issue with the phone design itself has yet to be determined . Me personally I took a small triangle shaped file and filed the microphone hole in the battery back to be as big as the actual microphone of the phone itself . Across the board I have heard nothing but "you sound very clear" "not muffled at all" Like I said I cant say it was the case or the phone but either way the issue is resolved
Sadly I have to dissent. The little mechanism which keeps the clip on the holster open (to act as a kickstand) broke on mine after 11 days, got a new one which broke after 10 days (same place). Wanted to like it but for that much money I shouldn't have to exchange a product 3 times a month.
I like mine a lot. The only problem I've had is the one others have mentioned; the sides of the case interfere with typing.
Now I just I need to decide if I'm keeping the Evo 3D.

Yeah I love mine also. I like to believe that this phone can take on anything now. For me its all about safety, but I agree with aramova's reply. I do sometimes have an issue with the thickness of the bezel. I haven't really had a problem with the dust though. But before you put it on make sure you know how to open it because I a problem with it the first couple of times.
Seems to work great and protects the phone well.
And for those of us who do not use the holster, it can easily be modified to use as a car dock. Since none of the car docks will work with the Defender.
If anyone is interested in how I modified mine, I can take some pics later.
I mounted the holster on to a standard universal suction mount windshield phone holder and used a dremel to put a hole in it so that the power cord can be mounted and plugged in to the phone.
I then use Car Home which stays one when plugged in and has worked very well.
I have it and love it.
Only complaint is that it is creaky and otterbox never posted my review on their website for some reason. Weird.

Combo Case Throwdown

After reading hundreds of forum posts, watching many youtube reviews, and spending hours of silent contemplation with Buddhist monks, I still can not decide between the Otterbox Commuter, Seidio Active, and the Incipio Silicrylic. They all seem fairly similar, with a few key differences, and since I know many of you have owned at least one of these, I could use your input.
First and foremost the reason I am buying the case is to improve the function of the power and volume buttons. In fact, I switched back to the standard battery from the extended because none of the cases I could find really addressed those button issues. I'm sure they all do a sufficient job of protection, so my main concerns are fit and button improvement.
The otterbox and the incipio clearly show protruded buttons that would appear to help with that situation. Can anyone comment on the seidio's buttons? Also, the incipio seems like its a bit loose. Having held an iPhone with the case on, it didnt feel snug at all. This seems to be the case ( ) with the Rez as well.
In terms of looks, I like the OB the best, but it also seems the bulkiest and I'm not so sure about the port covers. As for the seidio, I've read about peeling finish on the back cover. I'm not sure anyone's had it long enough to have experienced it, but I AM hoping you can weigh in on the camera. The lens looks restricted by the back cover.
The last factor I'm using to decide between the three is the lip around the screen. It should be big enough to protect the screen from a faceplant, but I'm also worried about it restricting the use of the screen toward the edges.
I appreciate any input you have, and I'm hoping others find this information useful in making a decision.

My vote is Seido. I've owned the Otterbox, but not Incipio. As far as quality of the holster, nothing compares to the Seido. Just stronger and seems to last forever. The buttons are easier to use on the Seido than the Otterbox. The Otterbox is slightly less bulky, but it's negligible at best. I have 2 Seidos, one red and one blue. I have yet to experience any peeling from the plastic. I've thrown it in bags, stuffed it in pockets. It just seems to hold up nicely. The lip is nice on the Seido. It's about the same as on the Otterbox but it doesn't inhibit use of the screen like the Otterbox can. The Seido is made really well where you can actually push the rubber aside if you need to get really far over. I was actually afraid that this would stretch the rubber, but this thing has been solid and hasn't stretched at all. I can't say the same about my Otterbox.
Both are amazing cases. I think the Seido looks a lot better once you add in the different colors. The blue is gorgeous and the red matches the phone perfectly. Neither the Otter or the Seido do anything to inhibit the camera. But I would still go with the Seido based on build quality of the clip/holster and the quality of the case itself. Just my 2 cents. Buy it, you won't regret it.
EDIT: I also change my case every day, so it's gone through some serious tests for me. Every time I put my Seido back on, it's like the first time I got it. The plastic is just super strong and the rubber won't stretch. Seriously, I'll never buy another brand of case again if I can help it. (And no, I don't work for Seido )
EDIT 2: Here is my review of a few cases including the Seido Active and the Otterbox. This was before I purchased the clip for the Otterbox, but you get the idea.
And here are some pics of the red one.

+ 1.
The buttons are actually easier to use with the case than without it.
No issues with the camera lens
Great feel. Not too bulky and a solid, tight fit. I have all the confidence in the world that the phone would be protected if I dropped it.
KORM via the beast known as the Rezound.
I'm the opposite if the first reply, had the otterbox, upgraded to the incipio. To me the otterbox was too slick and way too big. It made the rezound bigger than my wife's thunderbolt with an incipio. I do like the port covers on otter box, but I also like to use a car dock, and you can't have both!
The incipio has been great over the two months I've had it. I would reccoment it. On an off easily, and it looks nice. The screen protector doesn't have cut outs for the camera or light sensor (which has no impact for me) but is very robust.
There is a little bit of a stretching if the silicon layer for me, but I use a really tight arm band for running and it pulls on it pretty bad. I don't think it would be the case if I didn't abuse it like that.
You should probably just buy both!

Thanks for the quick responses.
Wasabi I almost just PMd you my questions, what with your previous reviews and all (badass wallpaper, btw), but I thought there might be more people asking the same questions. You mentioned that the power button was still flush. Would you say that its about the same functionality as naked, or better? Like I said...thats basically my #1 concern. Also the camera cutout looks way better in your pics than it does on the Seidio website.
Also Jive, a guy at work said the plastic of his Incipio was really brittle. I told him better that plastic than the phone, but have you noticed any cracking or chipping?
seidio active is the way to go. The incipio case is garbage. It cracked the first time I went to put it on. The otter box is just huge and far too bulky. I'm sure its a good case, I don't have it but my brother in law does. Sometimes the silicon part slips a bit near the top, its like they didn't make a proper fitting mold. I personally think the seidio is the best looking of all of them too. I don't have the seidio case because I use the extended case or I would use it.

Thanks..I had that wallpaper forever The power button is flush, yes, but there's like a cutout for it. I'll post a pic in a second. It's much easier to press than without the case. The volume buttons are muuuuuch easier. So power button naked would be like a 5/10 for ease of use. With the case it's 7.5/10. Volume buttons are like 4/10 naked. With the case they're easily 10/10. And yes, there's no obstruction of the camera with the case. I love this case. It's easily the best one I've purchased for any phone, and I'm kind of a case freak.
EDIT: Here are the pics. You can see what I mean by flush. It doesn't protrude like the volume buttons. But it does have the nice cutout so it's very easy to push. And ignore how dirty the phone is. lol
EDIT 2: You need anymore pics or anything, just let me know. About to leave in a minute, but I'll be back later and can take some different angles if you need me to.
I'm right with Wasabi on this. Had the Seidio since the week it came out. The rating that Wasabi put on the buttons is pretty much spot on. They don't protrude, but make the buttons a lot easier to manipulate than naked. The fit is nice and it looks great on the phone. The lip on the front is perfect for protecting the screen. I have had it get in the way trying to place letters on the very edge while playing words. It will stretch out of the way and springs right back in to place though. I haven't had any peeling or anything on the back. I have noticed the edges of the silicon getting a little glossy. This is to be expected though since I take it in and out of my pocket a thousand times a day! Best case I've had on a phone.
wow, looks like I'm getting the Seidio. Thanks for the help!
Good call on getting the seido, I have the white one and I love it!

Just remember with any of these cases and the camera, you will lose all of your low light capability. The flash ports aren't setup properly so you will have white half images.

Umm, what? Do you own the Seido or Otterbox Commuter case? I've never had any issue with the flash or photos in general ever. What are you talking about?
Never had any picture issues. Flash works fine.
Another +1
No issues at all with the camera.

Just throwing my weight behind the Seidio. I have the gray on gray Incipio and it is definitely looser. (Anyone want to buy it?)
Actually, my favorite is the Seidio Surface (because it will slide into a side leather pouch), but if you're looking for more protection, go Seidio Active. It goes in and out of the holster quite nicely as well.
can somebody post some more pics of Seido Active?

p.s. make sure you thank Wasabi for those pics!

If you know how big the Otterbox Commuter is, I'll post a pic of the Commuter next to the Active for you. They're closer in size than the Defender and Active are.

Rocketfish EVO LTE TPU case, anyone got pics/fitment?

im a fan of the original rocketfish tpu case for the evo, although i had to cut out for the button holes, etc.. it still served me well cheaply.
the ones for the lte look equally impressive, this time the button holes look cut out.
and come in pink/transparent smoke
anyone bought and got pics and fitting, remarks?
thanks
Case fits well and all holes are cut perfectly. Camera button works well. Power button not quite as good.

Case does fit well, but I would say the opposite about the buttons (which are all covered, btw), I find the power button to be perfect, but half pressing the camera is near impossible. I can't feel where that half step is, you know? And I find myself searching for the volume rocker a lot. Having said that, this thing is a joy to hold. I originally picked mine up at bb intending to return it when my Diztronic ones came in, but it really won me over. The cutouts are perfect, it's snug in all the right places, and it feels great in the hand. The Diztronic ones are pretty awesome also, but I didn't like how the cutouts felt. I decided to keep the rocketfish one on my evo and use the other ones as backups. + 1, would buy again.
interesting. i can see in the pic that the power button looks to be halfway covered.
wth?
Actually the power button is completely covered. The cut out part is the headphone jack and second mic.
I - love - this - case. I have never had any of my phones protected with any case protectors because they all sucked donkey balls. I usually just used skin protectors, because cases add bulk to an already bulky or sleek phone. The EVO LTE is a sleek slim phone that can easily slip in and out of pockets fast. The TPU case that Sprint sent everyone was slim and provided protection, but it was NOT easy to get into and out of pockets.
So, stumbled into Best Buy to get a Zagg HD screen protector and asked where the EVO LTE accessories were at. I see this and tried it on for size and was really pleased. I don't regret the decision and have actually saved my ass when the phone was dropped the same day. I love it because of 3 important factors:
1) Does not add any noticeable girth. It doesn't add any huge lip to the front, just enough to keep the screen off the surface when the screen is placed downward. The back adds no thickness because it is flushed to camera lens "bump".
2) Slick case makes it easy to get it into my pocket, and very easy to get it out fast. It doesn't have that "sticky" feeling. It might be a bad or good thing. If I have it in my hands, I want it sticky. Otherwise, I think it was a good trade-off.
3) Buttons are covered. I know some people don't like the buttons covered, but when I usually drop my phones, the buttons are the ones to get scuffed first. I wanted my phone protected from those scuff marks and any accidental water that might get near it. I like it protected as much as possible. The buttons are still easy to press, but I kinda get confused where to press, unless I feel for the grooves really well or look at where I'm pressing. I think RocketFish could improve here. They need to make the covered buttons provide more tactile feedback or maybe an option to have the buttons color coded, or even add some stickers in the package so we the user could add different colored stickers if we wanted them. In fact, I'm patenting the idea of including different color stickers (of varying sizes for different buttons or locations) to phone protectors so people can decide IF, WHERE, and what COLORS they want on their protector. Heck, maybe even some logo stickers if you want.
That's my 2 cent review.
I bought the case as well. Adds no bulk and protects it well. Highly recommend

Bought this case and it fits perfectly. Like others have said it adds little to no bulk to the device. The buttons are covered but I have not problem pressing them. I highly recommend this case for those who don't like those bulky cases such as the otterbox.
Wow so that's what a $25 TPU case looks like.

It's a $25 Soft Gel case that you can get today at your local Best Buy without having to wait. You get what you paid for. Yeah, I would have preferred it cheaper, but I got instant gratification.
Good investment for this case. I dropped it on the pavement getting out of my car on 6/9, made very little noise when hitting the ground. I picked it up and after close inspection I found only a very small nick on the case in the corner. Much better than scratching the aluminum.
Very happy with it, but like stated earlier, I would like to feel the half press of the shutter a little more.

There seems to be some confusion between the terms "TPU case" and "soft gel case". A gel case is squishy and sticky in your pocket, and will pull your pocket inside out when you try to get it. A TPU case is harder, stiff but flexible plastic that is more neutral feeling in terms of grip. They're not interchangeable terms. Diztronics makes an excellent TPU case for under $10.

TPU is definitely not gel.. If you're happy with a 25$ tpu because you didn't wanna wait 3ish days, thats great! I personally feel you get better quality, design and prices when you order it.

Next time you should just buy four of these for the same price, which look to be the exact same case: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GLASSY-BLACK-TPU-SOFT-COVER-CASE-HTC-EVO-LTE-ONE-SPRINT-/221044232781?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item337743524d#ht_3047wt_1165
I may even pick one up soon.

[Review] Zenus Masstige Color Edge Diary Series Royal Navy

Alright, The case the box came is in is kind of girly, anyways the quality of the case is amazing! It doesn't feel like it was cheaply made at all. It doesn't add too much bulk and I can still fit it in my skinnys(Levi's 511 Skinny 29 x 30) front pocket. The buttons are easily accessible even the the volume button being covered by the front flap it is still easy to press / locate since the case has a steep cut out for the volume buttons. Aswell as the S-Pen being so easily accessible. An added perk i liked about this case is that the speaker hole is actually covered by its own mesh. It also has an accessory hole so you could attach an accessory / lanyard to it. The Magnetized kick stand does not interfere with signal(atleast none i can tell).

Zenus cases are the best I've seen so far for the Galaxy Note. I was thinking of getting this one as well but the color combinations just don't do it for me. Also, there's not cutout for the front speaker so it would be a little awkward to have to hold the front leather part back every time. I like that the case clips onto the metal part on the side and doesn't rest on the top of the phone so that a screen guard will thankfully be left untouched. I also love that it has a stand (The only reason I'm not getting the Zenus Masstige Stripe Case). I was wondering though, when the stand is set up, does the little latch (idk what it's called lol, the little thing used to clip on to the front cover to close the case) hide a little part of the screen since presumably, it'll be hanging down a little bit?
EDIT: Ordered it lol. It may have its flaws but it's the best I could find at its price range.
I have one of these (different colors, but this color looks great).
They are extremely high quality. As good or better than Vaja, for instance.
I've posted this before, that make sure you pay more and get the leather ones, as they have a few lines and some of the lines aren't as good quality.
This particular case is just great. The flap is a tad annoying but well worth it overall.
Note: one thing worth mentioning is that they are very light also.
would it be okay to use this case with a FULL skin applied? Ie. sides and back??
i'm sure the front would be okay, but just wanted to see if the sides of the phone with skin be okay.....
i've been looking at cases that have the flip cover, but they all look like it would peel off the side skins..... this one looks like it like it might be okay.

Hmmm...that's a tricky one. Obviously, it clips in tightly and securely so it might damage the skin during insertion and removal but once it's sitting in there, as long as you don't constantly remove it, it should be fine. I would recommend going to a store and testing out either this case or similar leather cases, but then again, if you harm the skin in the process, then this whole discussion is useless lol. On another note, why use a skin? The note is such a beautiful sleek beast. I wouldn't want to hide away any of the sides or take away from the beautiful protruding glass. That's why I hate my current Capdase Jacket XPose and am going for this case. Just increases the beauty XD. Anyways, yes, back on topic, I wouldn't recommend using a skin with this cover but hopefully someone who's actually tried it will reply.
Side-note: I ordered the Wine-Red / Dark Brown version

Here's a Flip case that would most likely not interrupt your skin.

These Zenus cases look great and seem very usable. But the downside is that they have a magnet at the back that interferes with S-pen functions (not with the signal). Check in the screen area in front of the magnet by trying to draw several long thin lines with the SPen that cross this area. That case was a money waste for me...

I got these symptoms after a couple of days usage. I contacted the dealer and got a substitute with Capsule Stand Slide Series - White / Lime
When I got my Note off CL came with the Eel leather case. It's slick but I wish it was the capsule.
