I have the acer iconia tab A510 upgraded to jelly bean (4.1.2) and I want to root this device do I have to downgrade or can I just root it?
Can I downgrade to ICS?
if you can please give very detailed answers since I am a newb at all of the rooting

I tried rooting my A510 and it didn't work. Is there a current method to do this. The old Runit-win method didn't work...

Great developers, someone should work out a solution for unlocking bootloader on ACER ICONIA A-811 V4.2.2(JB) so it could be possiblr to root and flash cwm.
