Guys i had paranoid android 2.54 installed on my gs3 and today decided to install [ROM 4.1.2 - 4.2.1] JELLYBAM - v4.0.0 [12/01] [i9300] [PA.AOKP.CM10] and did so (wipe data/cache).. but after rebooting from recovery the phone became damn slow (slow as a snail).. When i try to unlock , it takes about 5-10 seconds to open up and goes of within a second so i cant unlock it too... it erased all the data on the phone too .. please help/suggest what i do ....
Try asking in the Jellybam thread, you'll probably get more answers there

Not if it was on internal sd.....at which point I would suggest doing a clean install if you lost all your sd card contents.....it's a good opportunity to do it and to my mind is good practise to do occasionally if you are flashing a lot

Bump! Guys .. no one has replied to my post on PA. Can someone please help me out here? I even tried installing the SuperNexus rom on it. No difference. I am currently looking for the stock rom to see if the problem persists.
Help me please! Pretty please? :crying:

Hello guys,
I've installed "NoFrills" CPU Control on my LG E720 on 3/4/13, and it worked quite well on that day.
But when I tried to turn on the phone on 4/4 , it just stuck in the "android icon screen" ( it must be boot-looping  )
What's happening? Can I slove the problem without losing all the user data ?
Thanks for your help!
(*I've moved the app to SD by using "Droidsail Super App2SD")
( sorry for my bad English )
Try flashing another rom through Recovery if not then revert back to stock rom.

If you hadnt backed up before. then my answer will be No. And depending on your device if the device has a dedicated Forum on XDA you will get more help there in terms of flashing Stock roms as All Manufacturers have different methods to do so. if there isnt i am sorry to tell you should go to service centre.
Hi, unfortunately im new user, so i cant ask that in AOKP thread (i dont have 10 posts), therefore ill ask here:
My problem is when someone calls me i get 'com.android.phone has stopped' message and i cannot answer the call.
I have wiped cache and dalvik, but it was still happening, so i did it again and fixed permissions --> nothing worked.
Then ive deleted rom, did a factory reset and flashed rom again. I'm still having this problem.
Can anyone help me?

try flashing another rom ? and see if some problem exists. or even try just going to stock and see. could be problem in the rom so you might want to report it. also could be problem in the flash. example a bad flash. then see what happens

No, you can't use Odin to flash Slim. But you know what you can use XDA for? Reading. I'm sorry, but spoonfeeding is against XDA rules. Read up & flash slimbean. First you want a custom recovery & root, from there all you have to do is download the ROM and flash it according to the instructions in Slim OP. I'm not saying any more.

I already said.
1. Read.
2. Read.
3. Read.
No one said you have to be a developer or expert. I'm certainly not. I only know what I know because I read things before attempting them. This isn't meant to be harsh, but right now your phone is in danger. Messing with your phone when you don't know what you're doing is a sure way to screw things up. So please do some reading. I already told you where to start, you need a custom recovery & root.

Good to hear.
The reason that everything looks small is that it's not standard dpi. Slim has default 182 dpi, stock is 240 dpi. You can change it, go to settings>interface>LCD density. Follow what it says there, the instructions work great there.

No problem, and nope I'm not annoyed. I'm only telling you to read as it's the best way to learn.
Guess what? Time for more reading... Need to read the first 3-5 posts of the unofficial slim thread. It's in the FAQ section. Common problem on slim 4.3

I've the same problem, after a full wipe and format installation of the Slim, my S2 is not rooted.
I've the fusionjack kernel included into the ROM...
Someone already solved this ?
EDIT:
I downloaded the superuser update.zip as explained in the second post, flashed it and reboot.
Recovery asked if disable to restore something, select "yes" and now my phone is rooted

Don't post the same thing over and over. I saw you post it in the slim thread as well.
Reboot will happen if you rotate your phone with auto rotate on, but only seems to occur randomly. Mobile data - mine works fine. Check your apn settings.

If you're stock, unrooted... I would wipe cache in stock recovery.. but don't wipe anything else... stock recovery on ICS can be funny..
After wiping the cache, just reboot.. should fix the issue... if not. I would expect that the update did not go through completely.. in that case. You will need to use Odin and flash/install the stock ICS 4.0.4 rom.
Let me know how it goes and I'll try to help..
Thanks

Glad you're up and running...
And thanks for the kind words.... just trying to pass along help... like when I first joined and needed help, I was in the epic 4g touch forum.. and those guys/gals all try so hard in that forum to help and pass on knowledge...it was nice to see a forum where members help instead of flaming you.. then not even offering advice...
If you ever need anymore help or have a question... don't hesitate to ask or send me a pm if you don't want to start a thread..
Good Luck
