Hi
Im using nova launcher and clock jb+ as clock widget and alarm. But the alarm never ring only if i activate screen, yhen it comes on. If i setup stock app for alarm it works, but the widget dont (because nova launcher). I even installed jb+ as system app but no luck. Is there any workaround this? Any help appreciated. Rom is pulak's pure blood. I tried even with munjeni's rom, but the same result.

Are you using the extendend standby mode? All data connections and most of the apps are closed in this mode.
Only stock alarm will work if you use extendend standby mode.
Im using extended battery...mhm.. Is there any workaround?

Yes there is -> Stop using extended battery or use stock-alarm
I have those issues in the past, Change your Screen-off governor using Set CPU if your using any custom kernel. Otherwise, use stock alarm and stop extended battery.

I've flashed cm7 and love it but it does not have the stock alarm and the phone app will not load contacts as you type a number. Can someone please post the stock alarm apk and a better phone app that will work with cm7? Thank you!

The only real problem with the cm7 clock is there are only about about 10 alarms tones to choose from and they are all ****e. And for the phone app, i'm looking for something like the stock app where you start typing the first couple letters of a contacts name and it will give you a list of contacts.

For the phone application, try Go Dialer and Go Contacts. Free on market, and better than both the stock Samsung and AOSP dialers.

Stock apps are tied to the tw framework and will not work on cm7 or miui

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone knows how to disable or freeze the stock lockscreen? Ive used other lockscreens like lockbot and magic locker and for sone reason the stock one still pops up so I end up unlocking two screens. Gets annoying. My phones stock nonrooted.thanks in advance.

You can use widgetsoid and create a widget to disable it. Or, if you have Power control Plus you can use their widget too.
Thanks a lot. Ill give those a try and post back.

Also you can freeze via Titanium Backup one app - Sprint_OMADM.apk, of course if you are not Sprint user.
the free app 'no lock' is amazing and works flawlessly. Best app on the market imo
Thanks guys for all the help! I tried widgdtsoid and power control. power control worked but it had a notification symbol which I dont like. I just downloaded and installed no lock and I think I'm gonna go with that one. You guys rock!

Glad you like no lock... Its the best
It is the best. I was so sick of the stock lockscreen

No lock + Agile Lock screen works great together
Anyone have a solution for us with Outlook EAS that requires the PIN? No Lock does not work for me.
I use go locker with no issues

Im using no lock to disable stock lockscreen and am using go launcher/go locker with sense slider for my lockscreen. Works flawlessly.

Use widget locker. It's not free but it sure as hell is worth the admission fee. It gives you the option to completely replace the stock lockscreen plus it has loads of other useful features (integration with teslaLED)
With other launched can't really remember its name man can the 4 dots above the app drawer( the screen indicator ) remove so its no more shown.... so may any one know how or even if it is possible to make it hidden also here on touchwiz ??

ummmmm...
I give up
I think hes trying to say that he wants a launcher that hides the screen number indicator.
Like your clock widget.
What's it called?

Either Apex or Nova. I use them before, but don't remember which one.
That's a feature of most launchers. I'm using go launcher and can hide them. I don't think you can do it in the TW launcher though.

Just use Phantom Music Control or something. Anything that uses the lockscreen API really.

Yeah sure but I can't start the music with that, and it will never replace a home screen widget.

tried it and it's working fine on Atom Launcher. Did not test though on other launchers.
I'm running speed rom and holo locker as my lock screen, the only thing is when I'm texting or typing the multi touch bugs out. I think it's holo locker that causes it.

3rd party lockscreens cause multi touch issues. use widget locker and check "retain system keyguard" under advanced settings. problem solved :good:
yeah I remember there was an app that would cause that a long time ago, but I didn't know it was all third party launchers. thanks! ;D
