When I send SMSs to contacts, the message is delivered but it randomly says Draft next to contacts name. Does ne1 have a solution?
Do you try to reboot yr phone? If not then reboot it.

Have you tried to press the left soft key while in messages and select Draft Messages to check if any of them are saved?

It should be simple but I still haven't been able to figure out how to delete multiple msg from different senders at one go on my X10 stock msg app.
Is it possible to some how tick only the msgs you want to delete ???
You have to be in the thread, then press the menu button - more - delete thread. Or install MyPhoneExplorer on both the phone and computer which makes managing your messages, and phone a little easier.

Thanks..... but that one works for say I've 5 msgs from you. But what I mean to ask is how to I delete msgs from multiple senders at once( like in my Sony

You might to use something like Handcent has you can only Bluetooth with the stock application.
Handscent will also allow you to delete multiple texts too... in "Batch" mode.

+1 for this. Handcent allows you to delete messages in 'batch' mode and send business cards (sort of) via SMS. It also has a lot of other great features too. Well worth checking out - especially as it's free :-D

If u want to send a business card via sms, go to ur phonebook and select the contact as if u were going to call them, then press the menu button and select 'Send Business Card'

This method only allows you to send the business card via Bluetooth though, not via SMS.

Not long had my X10i, and so far very impressed. However, Im trying to find out how to send a text message to my favourites. I run a football prediction league, and have 13 members. On my old samsung phone, i was able to type one sms and send to my 'group' of 13 contacts.
I have sorted my favourites out, but cant send an sms to them all at once?
How do i do it?

not sure that you can send it to a full distribution list
the only way is to select one then click left button to add more contacts you have to do that each time

Download the app Handcent, and use it as your messenger service.

i think after sending first sms with all 13 contacts (manuell added recipients), you will automaticly create an entry in your sms list, with a group u looking for.
1. new message
1.1. add recipient
1.2. menu key --> add recipient
1.3. menu key --> add recipient
..
1.13 menu key --> add recipient
2. type text
3. send sms
after this you schould create a groupe entry in your sms list. now you can use this to send further sms to your football group.

Thank you all for that. How do i group my contacts in handcent?
I've had my Xperia S for a few weeks now but today something strange happened; I sent a text to someone who I hadn't text before (it was my friend but he had a new number) so a new Chat Thread was opened as usual on android, but when he sent me a text back it appeared in a new thread that had just been created. So I had one thread with a text I had sent him and another thread with a text he had sent to me, but my phone was showing them as the same number with the same contact picture and everything. If i try to reply to texts he has sent me then I get the message "Could not send" and the status of the text becomes "Failed", I can only send messages to him in the original thread that I started by sending him a message. What could be causing this? This is is the first time it has happened, I have tried deleting both threads and texting him again, but I get his replies in a different thread.
This also happens to me. Frustrating...

check your contact list, there might be double entries
Here, as Brazil is really big, we have codes before the phone number. When I send a number from my region, it goes correctly. But my carrier ( or the phone) adds the code when I receive a message. When I try to send with the code, it does not work...

I've a question... I've a list of names and phone numbers in a text file in my computer... Is there any way I can send text messages to all of them from my Galaxy S2 by importing the file?
I don't want to add all that people to my Contacts, just want to send them a text message...

hmmm u can try to copy all phone numbers in a test file or mail, separated by an "," or ";" and then copy the content of file or mail directly into the message contact box...

It partially worked, as the maximum amount of recipients on the phone is 10 people... Can I add all phone numbers to a "group" but without adding each one as a separate contact?
HELP!! I cannot delete SMS messages on my stock Messeges app or any SMS app like hangouts or handcent. I select one message to delete....usually takes a long time to do so and bam the message is still there. HELP!!
