Is it possible to port this mod to our galaxy note 2 N7100?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1491887
I would like to have a permanent full date on the right side of the status bar. day month year
Use cool tool from Google Play.
You can put date and many more on anywhere in your screen
my S pen did this.
Thank you so much! Perfect!
edit:
When the notification page pulled down the date stays on top of it and on top of notifications. any way to change it?

I tried this mod on Samsung Galaxy Note 2 i317, it did not work.
In fact I decompiled & compiled the SystemUI.apk successfully. But somehow the changes are not reflecting.
Can someone help me?
Try this
Edit : 6 download and No reporting
Edit2 :
You guys really lazy in reporting
I have tested, first one is working but have blue colored clock, attached another to fix it for grey text.(same stock color of clock)
@OP
You can remove '-Is it possible?' from title and link this post to download, it will helpful to others.
PS : This vrtheme and may work only on deodexed rom.

I am attaching the screenshot. I tried the first one. There is a real estate issue in the status bar. While my phone is plugged into my computer for charging, I could see the top left most icon flickering. If you could provide simple date formatting (like mm/dd) that would be great. Because if I have missed call, email notifications, message notification, not sure how the status bar will look.
Just install simplistic framework with simplistic control app.
You can put the date in your status bar and more.

Nice! Just one request: can you add a percentage to the battery icon, like many other themes?
I want the battery indicator~!
can it enchanted with UOT theme?
great work, any chance in a link to wallppaper and clock widget?
thanks
Wasn't sure the right place for this question, but I've noticed that many of the themes use a custom font for the status bar clock.
How would I go about changing the font? Would prefer the stock honeycomb clock font instead of the TouchWiz look. I tried this method in reverse, but couldn't determine which font Samsung uses.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Kav
ill stand corrected as i havnt actually tried this befor but in system/app/systemui.apk/assets/fonts theres some fonts called android clock give it a go
Thanks! So I guess this means I need to learn how to unpack/repackage an apk. Then do I need to reinstall it?
yarr well this has given me the idea and im gona try change the fonts on my theme for the next version so if you want you can send me the font you want and ill have a fiddle tonight and see if i can get it working

I was afraid of that. I assume that each theme here is created/locked to a particular ROM as well? (I'm using the Overcome ROM at the moment.)

Just read the Purelook thread and noticed there are 2 themes.
You can choose one of two theme : Stock SamsungTW or Xperia Blue ( just click on one of the two, do not choose both)
Im guessing you chose Samsung TW? I think the theme you want is the Xperia blue. Try changing that and if it doesnt work, i can point you in the direction to a mod.

No Bro, there are 2 themes on Aroma Installer.. First one is -im not sure- xperia and second one is transcluent or sth like that. Then there are 2 launchers, touchwiz and sony xperia. after installation, when config screen -wireless, google, samsung acc's- notification bar transparent. but after installation, it turns into black and if I choose touchwiz as launcher it's crash.
TBH i don't know then. i have never used that rom. I can however highly recommend the rom which i'm using - it comes with the 3minit fromework and in the settings you can change the status bar and notification colour to any you want, including transparent (which i have)

They're not in the regular android framework, they're in the touchwiz framework. (TW_framework-res or something)

Technically that would mean that you mustn't uninstall TouchWiz ?

There is no way you can uninstall TouchWiz just like that. Do note that I am referring to the TouhchWiz framework, not the launcher SecLauncher2.apk (TouchWiz Home)
Have a look in settings.apk or secsettings.apk
Can't remember what TW uses
Edit.. Scratch that, you're looking for the background images, not the text? As shawty says, twframework-res.apk
Edit2.. Look for tw_list_section_divider_holo_light.9.png / tw_list_section_divider_holo_dark.9.png in framework-res, that should be the smaller one...
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
please don't ask questions in this section, there's a Help section for that. thanks
I know this can be achieved by replacing images in Systemui.apk. But that's a heck of work and last time when I tried that, Touchwiz started showing errors. Even after replacing the backed-up Systemui.apk errors wouldn't stop. Therefore I had to re-flash stock Rom.
This could be achieved by Xposed, which apparently isn't compatible with Samsung ROMS ATM. So I was wondering, if there's any other way to change status bar icons?
thanks
