Our device is not popular as much like others and it's dual sim.functionality is a barrier for creating roms, i guess.

About cyanogenmod.. i knw it doesnt support dualsim.. bt i fell there are ppl whu want a custom rom dan dual sim feature.. so if itz possible for u to build without 1 sim working.. m sure many ppl wud love to try it.. specially me.. not an order.. just a request.. lookin forward to your work in dis section...:good:

Well... No, it wont make any difference.... Just dat u have to flash kernel seperately via fastboot.... Dats it....
PS: i dont have desire v.... Im from some other forum....so, any futher info, u have to pm me....

guys: can anyone patch the kernel in a way that makes it possible to record calls from both sims with good quality, not just from sim1 which still is bad. Desire V doesn't recognize sim2 not even its number, wondering why. in samsung phones u can use the dual sim toolkit to fix this issue, but not in desire v.

you should use jb 4.1 cause is faster or even ics is better than jb 4,2

As the title says,i have seen many android phones having dual boots ICS and official rom for example and was wondering is it possible for our neo/v phones ?
Xperia phones does not support boot looping which is the common method used for dual booting. At the moment there are no possible workarounds for this. Let's hope someone does it.

I'm pretty noobish at this, but isn't looping just a kernel feature. I think there are some kernels on here that support looping or something like that, correct me if i'm mistaking please!

As it's so easy to unlock it's not really been pursued, however those who cannot unlock without paying have kind of been dismissed. It would be easy enough for someone to have cached the replacement loader and shared

That's a bit of crap. Remember buying Boot manager's for all my HTC phones used to love it loads one rom after the other..... I just say get HTC hd2 like I got ultimate phone boot any thing lol

Probably most of you still know me from Ice Cream Sandwich rom, but now I'm back to bring a new rom here
I have the Neo of a friend of mine now so I can make a new rom if anyone is interested???
The rom will be for Neo and Neo V, Arc, Arc S, Pro
I just want to know what you guys need in my rom?
CM10 isn't fully ready for daily use, so I'll base my rom on latest stock firmware for now.
I assume you guys are so I already did some research here today
Still have a lot to do though since I've been away from 2011 line for a while now.

I've tried several ROMs on this forum for my NeoL (unlocked BL). But no one work fine. I have trouble with exchange email, wifi, lock screen can't work if you set PIN (my company email require that), crash process com.android.acore, etc.
So I want to make this topic for anyone who use Neo L like me can find the best ROM for him to use.
In this topic, WE will list out all current ROMs that we had tested and it worked fine for Neo L.

If you're keen on Cyanogenmod 10 ROM then have a look at @TakuyaZ's thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2217269
You can use any Xperia Play Rom , if the kernel support it (4.1.2 ,4.0.4 ,2.3.x)
If you want to use a ICS rom, that have everything working, use the stock one, or wait for the revolution ics hd (new one)
if you want to use gb rom, stock is too fast. (lmao)

As long as its for xperia play, and you have a suitable kernel, it will work

you have to unlock bootloader.
then flash any kernel which support with Rom. then flash..
very simple.. it is a matter of selecting a appropriate kernel ..
I have used MIUIv5.. Nothing is broke in it.. Don't expect gaming in MIUI roms.. They r feature rich roms and d features r mind blowing..
Racing xplay by smokerman.. It's based on cm10.. Best cm10 I have used.. He included some mods and tweaked fxp source further to increase performance... Nothing is broke in this rom.. Everything works fine...
Turbo UI is by cosmicdan.. You shud b knowing him.. He gave us d Turbo kernel which works for gb, ics and jb... One kernel for all roms with multiboot... His rom is so good.. Some minor white text on white background issues... Nothing serious..
Most of d ics roms for Neo L have something broken.. Thats y I am sticking to jb... And d development is very good at d moment.. So just sit back and enjoy new jb roms... As far as gb is concerned there are some roms which are confirmed working on Neo L.. It's listed in ghostfreak NB's sticky thread...
