Ave folks,
Since the latest YouTube update I'm not able to switch to fullscreen. For now I uninstalled the update.
Do you have the same problem and maybe a fix for that?

My issue with YouTube is in recent weeks there is a constant Buffering/Freeze.
The temporary fix is: Settings>Applications>Manage App>Youtube>Force Stop and Clear Data.
Since I'm using a Rooted JetStream, i've also uninstall the stock Youtube and reinstall the Upgraded Version - but to no avail. I even did the same for Adobe's Flash Player (uninstall/reinstall), but the buffering starts after about 5mins of play. Even adjusted the video playback resolution
This is very frustrating!!!
HELP - has anyone come up with a fix for this issue??

Hi everyone,
For the past three days, I am unable to see videos on my YouTube app in HTC Wildfire.
The video streams perfectly, but stops playing after the 8th second or so.
Should I format my phone? Kindly advice.
Thanks in advance.

You should give more info about the current rom, root state, installed applications, stuff you messed around with.
Mine is the stock ROM- 1.14.720.2, and I just recently installed Watchdog Lite, Battery Monitor and Handcent SMS.
I don't remember messing around with the phone.
This problem occurred once before and then I restarted the phone and it worked. But now when I try doing that, it's still the sane.

I was having the same problem. I flashed my wildfire with a custom ROM (Wildpuzzule-froyo) and now youtube is working perfectly fine. Further, i m using an app "tube mate' (u can find it in market), and with this app i can watch as well as download youtube videos in a resolution of my choice.
I don't wanna root my phone until FroYo update is released.
And yes I will try the tubemate..
Thanks for the help. Will keep you updated if it is working with that or not.

Just updated the youtube app to 2.2.14:
-uploading over wifi is still broken for a decent length of video, e.g. 1min/88MB. The upload goes for a while, stops, times out, retries, rinse repeat and then fails.
- cannot play videos. A video will play for 3-5 seconds, freeze, act like it's buffering, and then just stop.
Anyone else get this behavior? I'm on 2.3.4 stock, rooted.
Yes same thing has been happening to me. It started yesterday. No videos load at all. I'm on cyanogenmod though. The prebeta

The comments on the market from various users also indicate a google youtube fail.

That's the one thing I miss about the iPhone. Yeah, the Youtube app stinks on the iPhone also, but at least you can watch YT videos on the default web browser and *never* have any problems such as buffering.
When I try to watch YT videos on the Android's web browser(s), I get a message that says "Sorry, can't play this video". WTF!
Same here in gobstopper bell...YouTube plays a few seconds then buffers forever

Same here. Plays for 12 sec then just stops.

I have the same problem with the latest version as well. Sometimes hang and sometimes causes the phone to hard reboot. I found an older version of youtube that you can sideload.

You should be able to uninstall the update, that's what I did. I was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing similar problems. Seems like it .

Hi
Edit 20/12/2011: the beta does not work, update Dolphin HD from Market for fixed version.
I was experiencing issues with Dolphin HD Browser since Updating my Flyer to HoneyComb 3.2.1 (3.55.405.1) where the browser would just freeze and I had to force close it and clear cache to get it to restart and work temporarily until the issue occurred again.
I searched the web and found the same issue on the Thrive running 3.2.1 in the thread http://www.thriveforums.org/forum/toshiba-thrive-apps/4925-dolphin-hd-browser-problems.html
The thread mentions a new beta version 7.2.1 so I contact their support and advised the same issue was occurring on the Flyer running HC. They emailed me back the beta APK and requested I test it for them. I have only just installed it but if others want to help test this the APK is attached.
Please let me know if this fixes the problem for you if you are having the same issue I was and I will email back to their support and provide them the URL to this thread.
So what setting do you use? Anroid phone, ipad or desktop?

Just an update I had another "freeze", actually it was a "white" screen when trying to open a URL from FrAndroid App to Dolphin HD.
Tried Dolphin from normal App shortcut and it would not respond, had to force close the app and clear cache to get the application to open again. Tried opening same URL from FrAndoid again and it worked ok so problem is intermittent.
I have emailed Dolphin support again and provided my system logs to help them investigate.
Please let me know if anyone else has issues using this beat version, I will continue to test it and hope it is better then Market version
Still freezes.

Yups, same as the market version. So far for me, the only non stock browsers that haven't locked up or fc'd on hc are Maxthon and QQbrowser.... Even those two have issues.
I've tested just about all of them.

The 7.2.1-beta does not help with the same freezing-issue on the Nexus Galaxy (Android 4.0).
Problem with freezing is: Sensor-keys to leave the frozen app don't work either.
The log shows many
"E/JavaBinder : !!!FAILED BINDER TRANSACTION!!!
The latest dolphin update has been working great for me so far, it addressed freezing on ICS and "appears" to do the trick here. Been using all day, no issues. I have skyfire on reserve just in case.

Yes, latest dolphin HD browser now works perfectly with flyer honeycomb!

Yes I agree, since updating from market yesterday I have not yet experienced any freezes. If this continues it will be great as this was the last important app not working since upgrading to HC

I can't watch flash videos except in standard browser.
It's playing sound, and only if you click on the black window where normally the fullspeed button is, it will play it properly afterwards in fullscreen.
Couldnt fix problem with embedded videos in other browser
and i found a new problem playing games the last days.
The G-Sensor doesn't rotate to horizontal mode in games - imput as if its still vertikal
-Homerun battle 3d / Asphalt6 HD - got them for 10cents
but its working fine with the preinstalled Teeter
Edit:
with Need for Speed Shift (another 10 cent App) there are no problems! But it was a huge one to download it
No Problems with GT FREE+ HD (Gameloft)
New Problem: in GTA 3
Here I have the wired G-sensor problem, too. doesnt recognice that the Flyer is in Landscape mode.
Is the Flash problem a general one or just a badly flashed rom
Edit:
It is a general HC problem wih the Flyer
I have the same flash video problem on the latest HC release. An example: YouTube videos work on the stock browser and in the YouTube app, but not in the Facebook app and other apps.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk
damn so its not only a beta or rc problem
Is there any solution for this flash problem in sight?
Are there any other problems with hc?
We could collect them here.

Flash issue is a hassle in HC (at least with leak #3) especially with 3rd party browsers and facebook.
How's it in final version? Still problematic or solved?

Yep, Im having the same issue. Updated to 4.3.606 and now I can't open the app. There are quite a few reviews on the Play Store concerning this too. Hopefully it gets resolved. In the meantime, I'm just running an older version that I had backed up.
Broken for me on my kindle fire as well since the newest update.
I also have this force close issue on my HTC Thunderbolt 4G on my LiquidSmooth ICS rom. I hope someone figures out how to fix it.
Same here. Vanilla CM7.2

I made a post in the App section here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1350164&page=51
I also made a post on the official Google Support forums here please post on it if you are having this problem
http://productforums.google.com/for...roid-devices/android-applications/a6u2tK6a49g
Searched the inter web for an older version...google play music 3.1, I think.
Works on Mirage.
Hope this helps.
I made this post for Google Play Music FC here please post in it if you are having the problem still. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1799125
Works fine for me on aokp
When using the latest version of the play music app and CM7.2 the crash still occurs.

Hmff, this is disappointing, setting up one of my old NC's and wanted to let my daughter listen to my Google Music. I notice that it doesn't create a Google Play Music entry in the Accounts at all, but I wonder what's going on overall.
I'll have to do some debugging, once my girl gives the tablet back.. She's busy making a monster farm or something
I experienced this problem too. I think it is a problem with the DPI density. I set my NC's DPI to 180 and it stopped FC'ing on me. Then started FC'ing again when I reverted the DPI density back to the stock 160. But ultimately, I just upgraded my NC to Jelly Bean. No more problems for me. Google Play Music runs fine on Jelly Bean.
