So I was at the hox threads and I notice skydragon Rom has the widgets from the DNA....I think it would be awesome to have those.
Can it be ported?

I have a red one and a stock one here http://old.androidfilehost.com/main/-Support_Files-/SuperChilPil/ONEX/
Flash the zip in recovery then using a file manager and navigate to /system/app
Tap on HTCAppsandshortcut.apk and install it again
Then you will have it

Hi there,
I did exactly as you said, but when installing the app from /system/apps it won't let me install it. Do you have an ideea what can cousing it?
Regards
Apps in /system/app are typically not installable (though perhaps this one is a special case?). They should take effect after a reboot.

If you use root explorer and install it, it works
For some reason it doesn't appear after a reboot until you install it
There's an aroma script called widget scanner that should also work, I suggest downloading that and using it

Download the 'High resolution version (Froyo/2.2)' version. Unzip, install both apks using the file manager of your choice. Simple as that.

If u r rooted u can download the zip, move the apk to your system/app
And move the libs to the correct location. Just extract the zip and you will see the folders and corresponding files, just copy paste accordingly, and remember to fix the permissions ( match the permissions to like files)

Push to system/app and change permissions
Alright guys long over do been working 12hrs but here you go. Using Root explorer.
1. Download file from link.
2. Extract file "extract all"

}
3. Go to extracted
4.Go in to system/app and copy HTC_IME.apk
5. Now go into system/app and paste it. It will ask if you want to replace existing apk say yes
6. Change permissions like so
7. Exit Root explorer and reboot.
8.Open Root explorer and go into system/app and change owner like so
9. Exit root explorer and reboot into recovery.
10. Wipe cache and wipe dalvik and reboot.
When phone reboots you will have themed keyboard. Hope this helps.

Unzip the rom that has it, then go into system, customize, resource, and find the one you want.

Most wallpapers will be where metalfan pointed out but sometimes if a ROM has multiple built in Themes (this is for Sense based ROMs) then the specific wallpaper will be inside the APK for that said theme.
For example, my theme replaces Matte.apk so if you wanted the wallpaper that comes with it you would just open up the apk (for this scenario any zip/rar app will work, like 7zip or winrar) and then go into assets/image/ and the wallpaper will be in there. Like so:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I know this isn't exactly what you asked for but it's very related and some 'theme ROMs' stash specific wallpapers in the skin apks.
Good call Racer, and you're welcome evo
which wallpaper is it ? :cyclops:

Can someone post the stock asus widgets for JB? I'm running CM10 and miss the weather/mail widgets.
I found this response from another thread:
"Take whatever ROM.zip that has the apk you want and extract it. Then navigate to system/app and find the apk you want. Then you can drop it on the the sdcard of you device and with root explorer put the apk into system/app and then set the permissions to rw-r-r."

They may be a different framework than CM10 and if so then they wouldn't work.
Here's a uccw widget I made. Not fully tested but looks the part.
