Hey guys.I would like to install another software version, or update to jellybean.Anyway the main ideea is that i want to completely wipe the phone and install another software version, or if you guys have an idea where i might find a good tutorial with all the files and install jellybean, it would be even better.But at least point me in the right direction to flash my optimus p705.Thanks!

I also looked into the lg official china site and it says Flash is indeed supported, but I havent downloaded and flashed my P500.

also, i'm not sure if the P503 and P500 are identical in terms of cpu, etc but i did notice that the P503 has an external slot to put in the micro sd (lower left side of the phone).

Check the android development forum and you gonna see there what do you haft to do.or you can try lg pc suite to update your device to 2.3

And yes, flashing an official 2.2 firmware through KDZ will restore the LG recovery.

What exactly you want to do? Want to install original ROM or want to have custom ROM?

OK, i am on the 3 network and have sent an email to LG regarding updating to 2.2.3 and they say that it is only available in the UK on the T-mobile network, I want to no if i can manually update to 2.2.3 that is compatible with the UK and my network. If not is there anyway to unlock my phone to make it compatible?
I have already rooted my phone using Gingerbreak
If i can update is there anywhere where i can get download links and a step by step guide that will work on my phone? i have been through many posts that explain things but i still am not to sure whether they will work with my phone, and if the ROM will work with my phone.
If i could get some advice or if someone could point me in the right direction of a post that will help me i would be most grateful!

I meant that i want to update to 2.3 gingerbread, or if anyone no's of any better ROM's that would be great, i generally use my phone for games, apps, music and browsing the internet so i just assumed that the official 2.3 ROM would be a better option but i am open to any suggestions. Download rom manager from market and flash clock wok rocovery and use a rom from ther they are mostly based on 2.3 or if you looking for something more advanced with tweeks download a rom from here make shur you have the right baseband 1st

I'm pretty new here so if the post doesn't belong here please redirect me to the right place (maybe there I will also have more chances to get an answer ).
I'm desperately searching for a stock JB 4.1.2 KDZ file (v10*) for LG Optimus L3 II Dual E435 (Europe-Germany) and I can't find any. I mean I found a lot of links on the net but none of them works.
I received this phone a couple of day ago and I started to play with it a little bit. I rotted it and also unlocked the bootloader and get it CWM ready with the help of the app made by PlayfulGod (Thanks for that!!!). Then I went to recovery mode, made a full backup of the system and wanted to flask the v20 Baseband because I wanted to try a SB custom ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2419465).
At rebooting nothing worked any more. When I try to do anything (starting, recovery,....) the screen just gets white for a second and that's it. I don't even come to the logo page.
So I have to try to unbrick it but the only method that I found for that implies the possession of a KDZ file which I don't have. The backup from CWM is a folder and I don't know (yet) exactly how to transform it in a KDZ. I know that I need a .dll file but where can I find it?

I rooted my LG Optimus L3 II E435 (India) last year and have a WDLFile .kdz. Are you looking for this. I recovered from soft brick/bootloop through this.

Hi,
thank you for the replay. I don't think that the indian stock will work on my device. I will try to ask around maybe somebody else knows this better. Anyway I will be very grateful if you could upload the kdz file somewhere so that I can download it. It's better than nothing. Maybe I will use it (or parts of it) for something.
