Until today I used GPS Mock in combination with the Bluetooth GPS app successfully.
Also Location Mock is enabled, internal GPS (which never worked) disabled. I did not change or update any apps.
The BT device is a Qstarz Platinum device which works correctly. I tried it with another BT device which read the coordinated correctly.
So something has changed some (hidden) settings .
I rebooted, reinstalled the BT GPS app, re-paired the BT GPS nothing helps.
Any ideas ?
Im looking app that will be turn on wifi when any application will need it for example i chose play store and wifi will turn on when i close play store wifi will turn off etc.
How can we spoof location without turning On mock location because if you turn it On most app don't knows it wth why did they even let us turn on Mock location if app can detect it OMG.

Ever since Android 10 my Poco F1 no longer has the option to use Location Access without using the GPS. Location Access now means using gps, wifi and mobile network. I can disable Google Location Accuracy and it will stop using wifi and mobile network to estimate location, but I want to turn off gps and use ONLY wifi and mobile network to estimate location. It drains too much battery so I stopped using Location 24/7. My work phone, P10 Lite with Oreo has that option, I want it back on my daily driver too. Halp?
It's simply missing in 11.0.4.0 QEJMIXM.
I also found no way to re-enable it yet.
Lineageos 17.1 e.g. has this option also for Android 10. So it's either added by LOS developers or MIUI developers removed this option ...
In Android 10, Location settings to use Wifi or phone only (battery savings) was removed. I have Poco F1 and Galaxy S9 both running Android 10 and they both don't have this battery savings feature in Location Settings.
I'm currently using Tasker app to set Location Mode to battery savings when I'm not using a GPS Navigation app. I can confirm its working fine.
What you want is not possible anymore. Google has bound the Location Access to the GPS module subsequently the Location Accuracy to the assists (WiFi, BT, Cellular, and Barometer). If you want to use Location Access, GPS will always be ON, if you want better accuracy, faster lock, or an assist when GPS signal is blocked, you use Location Accuracy. IF your need is to save power, disabling Location Accuracy is one option second to disabling the Location Access altogether via notification shade or the settings. I don't think that it's the GPS module was the culprit of high power consumption, it's just a receiver of satellite signal, more like an antenna while WiFI, BT, and Cellular were already known to hog power especially when signal is low.
It's still possible by using a third party app like Tasker. GPS can be turned off while still having Location access via Wifi and phone.
This feature is also still present in LineageOS 17.1 (which is based on Android 10 AOSP).
