It seems that this build just fixes the Exynos exploit and updates the Radio and bootloader. Not a huge change from original released ROM. But newer is newer!

I tested the modem on my phone but I cannot tell you it will flash or not brick your phone.
Think about that before you flash the modem!

This is the update. However it comes it comes.
I just pulled it from phone, rooted it and made it flashable.
You have to take what you read with a grain of salt. Not every report from every person is accurate.
In other words; you be the judge.

What the hell is a GT-N7005?
An LTE Note released in Hong Kong and Singapore. ROM works great on the SGH-I717! Apparently it does not have NFC support, but I'm sure someone will take this release and add it later. See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1984408 for more info.

Why do I care?
Basically turns the SGH-I717 into a stock Note as intended by Samsung (no AT&T stuff). Snappier than stock IMHO.

Downloaded the GT-N7005 IMM76D-DXLJ2 firmware (odin format) direct from Samsung, extracted using exodin, deodexed, zipaligned, added supersu and made into a flashable zip.

I think they are already in there. T-Mobile was already programmed in for me. Just flash-n-go.
I think the developers that have been turning stock roms into super stock roms, need to check this out. Especially if its running a lot better than what we got for stock.
Downloading now, going to flash soon. I'm pretty excited to see the Note in its true stock form.

I flashed the latest T-Mobile baseband, UVLG3 that was linked here.
Then I manually flashed the amss.bin that came in the GT-N7005 odin flash from Samsung.
adb shell dd if=/sdcard/amss.bin of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13

i already tried and got a ton of force closes. hope he makes it compatible
This is from my own dump of the device after flashing the RUU posted by designgears.
The boot.img flashes with ROM automatically. Thanks to flar2 the /system partition is R/W!
This is the .12 build that has been discussed but not available until designgears posted the RUU. So big thanks to him for sharing and thanks to flar2 for the R/W module!

You can flash over but you will loose any and all mods.

Just a little bout of OCD is all ha ha. I just don't like seeing "tampered" lol. I could care less about the warranty since it's already void the moment the bootloader was unlocked.

Nah, on this ROM being stock I just have a test script that runs to ensure init.d is working.
There are not tweaks or any of that. Pure stock. You could build a monster ROM off this base

Yep, this is just like loading a stock ROM. It has Gapps.
Make sure you have the updated bootloader and radio that I posted.

Really hope they have improved the volume control.
You can go back to a 5.0.2 rom without issue after flashing this, right?

Also I posted radio, bootloader, and stock recovery...for now if you wanna use them you'll have to fastboot them...I'll make a detailed tutorial on how to later..maybe I'll make flashable zips out of them...also flashing those will not wipe your phone if you were wondering.

The Radio and Bootloader you uploaded on TN site (or put the link in other hand) it's old and they are not new.
For example Bootloader is 71.08 and you put 71.05
Radio is 95R and you put the older Radio for 04 that was for Android 5 or 5.0.1 I think.

If your going to flash this rom i suggest you factory reset x 2. Why not just backup your whatspp w/ titatnium backup and restore after flash of new rom.
If you have some time in the next couple of days, could you build a stock, rooted ROM for LMY48J? I typically don't ask for these things, but I'm moving cross-country, and I don't have access to my PC to flash the image. TIA!
