OTA Updates
For Now OTA will Be BY OTA Update Center
To check new update go to ->
Settings -> About phone -> Software updates -> Click on Check now and if there will be update, you receive it and after downloading it will be installed automatically without any actions from you.
Also you can download update later if the file size is too big for you and you are using mobile internet
What is the difference between our OTA and others.
You will always receive latest features first
All updates will be automatically
You dont need to install full ROM after releasing it. You will get ALL new features included in Full release through OTA, so just youse the ROM as your daily rom
When and How will be new Full ROMs:
ROM has identification of numbers – like 1.0.0
Full ROM will be after releasing 9 OTA updates it means after 1.0.9 there will be new Full ROM.
All OTA updates we will carefully check and as well as our Beta testers. We will check to be sure that ALL updates will be succesfully downloaded and installed properly
That will take more time to create such updates, but really it is cool staff. Just imagine like you are using Stock ROM and you will get new updates just like HTC does.
If you have verification failed when trying to install OTA Updates it means you have an old Recovery or CWM Recovery. To be able installing updates you need just update your recovery to latest version of 4EXT Recovery RC8 then updates will be installed perfectly.

Tip1: If you want to remove some of the included system apps best way is to download Titanium backup from market and use uninstall.
Tip2: To save some battery change the wifi power settings.
Tip3: To make the battery last longer, turn off pocket mode in settings/sounds.

it might be a prop ive set in sensation roms too that could cause on some phones (not all) drain, ill make 1.0.1 to fix that - dont worry incremental update 200 kB in size to flash on top of 1.0.0.
i just need to finish with the bravo rom - i had a hell of a sunday, cooked 3 roms today for 3 devices

I've literally tried them all, and can say that your latest version is the most functioning ICS ROM currently available for the Rezound. Also, I love the extremely clean looking 5-bar signal that you've included in this version.

Would flashing this cause any main version issues down the road if we want to flash back to a backup or back to a gb rom ? I am on Clean ICS 2.0 now and Scott had included the old text file from the GB rom so it wouldn't cause a version conflict . Is this the same ?

It's based off of the OTA so yes. If it was a sense 4 rom then chances are good that they would not work.
On a side note its nice to see some team bamf development again! Great work.

I would prefer you being up to date. I have already had people with issues who had flashed one of those patch things and forgot they weren't on full ICS.

It is modded, but not in a way you need. I just removed the recovery and splash so they wouldn't be written over when it's installed.
Figured I would make it easier on those who needed to do it.

Yea I wish I would have had that haha. After I ruud it took me 5 hours to find a recovery image with someone fixing our home internet

Waiting for the OTA. I'm no good at porting from other phones. Besides, there seem to be lots of options for that. But they all seem to have something that doesn't quite work right.
This is why I prefer to work with stuff made for the phone.
Not speaking bad towards anything else out there, I damned sure wish I could do it. I'm just too lazy to put up with all that work. LOL

Here's the RUU ICS Global ROM 4.03.605.2 710RD that I extracted from the rom provided Android Police.
I deodexed the ROM in Linux using Dsixda's Android Kitchen and made it as bloat free as possible.
Features:

Requirements:

Steps:
1. Put PH98IMG-global-firmware, PH98IMG-ra-recovery, OTA-ICS-Global-Plus-v1.0 zips on MicroSD Card.
2. Rename PH98IMG-global-firmware to PH98IMG.
3. Press Volumn Down, Power to flash PH98IMG.
4. Pull MicroSD Card to computer and rename PH98IMG-ra-recovery to PH98IMG.
5. Press Volumn Down, Power to flash PH98IMG.
6. Pull MicroSD Card to computer and delete PH98IMG.
7. Press Volumn Down, Power to enter recovery, full wipe and flash OTA-ICS-Global-Plus-v1.0.
If your already on global firmware, just flash Rom.
If already on rom and are updating to new version, wipe cache, and dalvik-cache.

It has whatever new global capabilities HTC/Verizon added into the build. They have been quiet on what exactly it is capable of, my suggestion is give it a try and let us know what you find.

I just dirty flashed this over the 4.03.605.1 rom you posted the other day and so far it's working fine.
Does this have audio switching via volume button with screen off? Thats so essential that i cannot run a rom without it. Thanks.

No track switching by volume.
Is there a mirror for this by chance? I've tried to download the ROM 5x now on different network connections and devices and they all get interrupted
What's the difference between this and ota global ROM?

One's version ends with 605.1 and the other is 605.2 so I presume this one is newer
running 4.03.....1 now
I'm already on 4.03.605.1 with new firmware, etc. Do I need to re-do the firmware patch or can I just flash the 4.03.605.2 in the OP?

It's the skip track on volume press mod, showed up in CM a few versions back, basically lets you long press the volume key with the screen off to skip to the next track on a music player. Not sure where it's specifics are.
With that being said, how hard is it to disable the wake on volume mod?

the site is not too much faster that dial up 56k atm
Finally got the rom to download and it was worth the wait. This is the firmware that should've been delivered long ago. My mobile data has been rock solid for the first time since maybe March or so. Now I just gotta choose which my daily driver will be. This more compact baby running sense UI, or my gnex on jellybean.

Please be sure to do a full wipe when coming from another rom.
Always wipe your Google Wallet! In order to do so, open the app, input your pin, Menu button, reset Google wallet. You are now set to go flash the rom
Google Now is pre-installed:
If, for some reason, you want to remove Google Now and return to how you were before, flash the following zip. It removes all Google Now files, and returns the original Google Search app and voice files, as well as sets permissions for the Search app. Make sure to uninstall talkback and then reinstall it once you reboot to get voice search working again. Well as of right now the plan is to take a complete stock rom and tweak it all up, and we are hoping to start theming it and making it smooth, fast and stable as possible!
