System sounds randomly turn on? - Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0, 5.0

Hi there Xda, so today out of nowhere I got a notification but the sound was on when I never turned it on. So I ignored it the first time but it happened again. I turned sound on and off and no luck. I rebooted, same problem. The sound says silent for like an hour or so, and I randomly get a notification with sound on and it says its on? I don't wanna have to keep turning it on and off... any help? By the way it's a US 4.2 with a rooted stock ROM and stock kernel.

sorry first post was on the wrong forum. Have you contacted the developer or I would say find a new version of the Rom

Fixed it. Turns out not only do you have to turn on vibrate on message app but there's an all phone vibrate option under sound settings lol.

(Q)about my camera if its normal or defectivr

Is this normal? I tried talking to rogers where i got the phone from and they said its really like that. It only happens whenever i take a picture with lights on the background. Its really annoying. I tried every settings and still no luck.

Help With Data, Possibly?

Not sure what the issue is here.
I'm running InfectedROM Eternity 8.4.
If I'm updating apps and the screen turns off, the app updating stops and then continues again when the screen is turned back on.
Also, if I'm downloading a file from the browser, the download stops and fails after the screen has turned off for a minute.
I do NOT have any power saving apps installed on my phone or setting, to my knowledge, set to have this happen.
Is the ROM set up this way or is there a setting that can prevent this from happening?
I'd like to keep my data running while my screen is off.

Never mind...
I was being stupid and forgot the fact that I'm underclocked when the screen is off. Ha.

Annoying short vibration

My phone keeps (seemingly randomly) performing a very short vibration when using it. I've checked logcat but can't see anything obvious that's causing it.
I don't have haptic feedback on, no accessibility options enabled and no keyboard input vibrations. I've also turned off smart alert.
Its stock, rooted and I've frozen/removed most of the bloatware.
Any ideas?

Maybe you are using the leaked JB 4.2 stock ROM?

"I've also turned off smart alert"
Thanks, but it isn't on (see above).
Does anyone have any real suggestions of what's going on?
I'm wondering if there is some kind of background error vibration that occurs?

I know this is a long route to take, but uninstall all your apps, or as many as you can, and see if this still happens, I suspect an app is causing this,I had similar on S1, and I'm sure it came down to a rogue app
I've found similar (maybe connected) issue. When I receive for example the text message the screen remains turned-off, however when I touch it, it shortly vibrates once. When I turn the screen on it is still at the pattern locker. Not annoying but strange behaviour.

That's smart alert, it's meant to do that

[Q] clock and alarm issue on my photon 4g

I've been trying everything to set my alarm, and everything I try fails my alarms stays silent. I have gone into settings, and took all the right steps that i know of but still when it goes off it still remains silent running a rooted motorola photon 4g. Any ideas????
What alarm sound do you have selected? Try an allarm app from the play store that some times straightens out the stock app.

My stock Photon started having no sound recently too. Maybe there was an app update that is conflicting.
