Not too many people theme TWRP for the devices I've owned. No idea if people just don't want to, don't know how, or don't care. It's actually a remarkably powerful and simple little theme engine baked into it and I love it. This is my second full TWRP theme. My other is for the Nexus 7.
TWRP version needed: - 2.3.3.0
Install: In your TWRP folder in the root of your "sdcard" make a folder called "theme" and drop the ui.zip into it
Uninstall: Delete the ui.zip

Changes since v0.5
* - Finished replacing all the MAIN_BUTTON references for our device. You may have seen my original button mockup in various locations like the file manager etc. These are now all replaced with my final design like you see on the front menu. 48 individual buttons have been made to replace all the large buttons in TWRP with custom ones. If you happen to see any more of the original buttons in the interface (vertical long heart looking button) please let me know. I'm pretty certain I got them all for our device but you never know. As of 1.0 I can call this complete as the bulk of the interface is done and could walk away and know nothing is terribly flawed. The next release will focus on all the little default buttons which there are only a few of and the tiny little icons and such..
Changes since v1.0
A few more default images replaced.. Changed text color in the main interface to white to make less text blend into the wallpaper. Some still does but there isn't much to do about it except make the text a color that would "clash" with the overall theme. Cancel / Clear text that was showing through the button when setting a backup name fixed. This is the final version unless something major is reported as wrong.

NES theme. I loved that one and I absolutely killed it on the keyboard. It looks just like if Nintendo made a keyboard for the NES.

Thanks.. I'm definitely doing another theme. I haven't decided on a theme yet.. I wanted to get the basics of the default layout down which I'm now very comfortable with.
Next theme is going to be a lot more different. Where as this one and the NES one I basically redecorated the default layout, the next I will be rearranging everything in my own layout.

Felt retarded not being able to get it to work. Realized I was still on TWRP 2.3.2.3.
Apparently the theme only works on 2.3.3.0(+?).
But glad I got it now!

I'm looking mainly at the icon's I don't want a ridiculous launcher like on the bottom right picture. I can change my own background. Something more subtle than the ugly Tron themes I've seen for Android. I'm thinking Samcrow's theme with a more cyan light blue tinge to it.
The key is more black than cyan to really make it. I don't understand how some of the themes everything is cyan, it isn't even close to resembling the movie. All the suits are mostly black with cyan or red accents. I'm thinking a red version and a cyan version.
Again this is a request with my opinion in it and hopefully it didn't come across to pushy or obnoxious.

I'm pretty sure he'll have no issue with that as long as you credit him and link back to his thread
I sent him a pm cause I would really like to see him make a cyan version of his theme cause I think it would look great.
Here are some of the icons in that orange color.
If I was an artist or knew how to do this pretty well I might put on a glowing effect around all the icons.

Uhh, That's the $hit!!
I'm working on notifications now, here's what I have so far. These are modified from Masters Axura rom. The drop down toggles are a direct transplant from the Axura rom as they already fit the scheme very well.

Both, and ya I stopped around 3am last night cause I had a meeting at 11am this morning one set of keyboards is enough lawl. Once I get the first one done I should be able to go in and change the colors a lot faster. I'm not very happy with my level of perfection so far but I'll have to see how it looks on the phone before I say ok this is good.

Ya, I had thought about making that one with blue for the "shift" letters, but never got around to revising it. Might actually be kind cool to do the main letters in blue and the shift letters in orange. I still have the original paintshop layered images somewhere I think....
Oh and I'm not sure if you've looked into it yet or not, but the "EN", "SYM", "ABC", etc. buttons will require some xml editing to get the color you're looking for. I can't remember which off hand, but I can look into it again if you need.

Well, you can open an xml in notepad (although I prefer notepad++), but you have to decompile the apk first.
I use notepad ++, I read in the theming tutorial that it adds 0's or something and it messes with the code.
I'll pick your brain some more when I'm in front of my computer.

Man I don't see a thanks button.. But THANKS.. This is one of the best Red based themes I've seen and I've been looking for something like this since I started using CM7 for he X on June 17. I realize this is hard, and was about to get started themeing myself but after browsing the directions from various forums, I'm gonna need some time to learn.. It's more involved that I realized.

Exactly what I've been looking for. Been looking for a nice red theme with nice colored icons similar to icandy/urban but with red instead of blue highlights. Awesome.. However, on my droid X It gives an error saying something about it being improperly signed or something.. not the one about components missing.. I'm sure its something about being improperly signed and it won't apply.. Any suggestions?

Hey man, Have you forgotten about me? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would use this if they had discovered it. It reminds me to red river for DSX. I will try to study up on making roms for CM7 this weekend. But I'd really love to see you port this man.. It's not working on my DX. Thanks man.. Just making sure you hadn't forgotten about it.. I'm still gonna read up on themeing.. But i will try eyecandy again.. Seems like it didn't work either way, I'll try the nopreview again tonight. That too is a beautiful theme. One of the best I've seen.. I'm just partial to the red one. And most red themes have the leave red icons in the settings menu, which I don't like. I like the colored ones like those in your themes. Thanks again man.. I really appreciate your work.. I've already told several people about it on other forums.. LOL
I really like the dialer buttons too. And the brushed aluminum. I've been using eyecandy, it's a nice theme with a bit of red, but had blue for selection in settings.. I know thats being picky.. And beggars can't be choosers.. LOL
@ Yes, im going to update both of them by friday, when im going to a vacacion, so ill do as much as ican themeing. This one is updated last time long ago before cyanogenmod made changes to battery so it has missing icons.

I cant rememeber did eyecandy had blue selections earlier but now they are all htc sense green. I relly love htc sense so i've tried to use as much as i can from it, buttons, selections boxes, that green color and everything else that matches eye candy concept.

Hey man, I tried the no preview of the eyecandy theme, and no luck. I'm on Nightly 30 of CM7 for DX. With the preview I can select the theme but get an error. With the no preivew one I can't see an option to select it in theme chooser..

In the bottom of first post in eye candy thread is link to the screenshot where it is described how to aply no preview one. You have to scroll real slow between two other previews to notice it.

Yay, It worked. Running it now. LOL, I can't believe I missed that at the bottom of the post. Saaaweeet. Man that is probably the best looking theme, I have ever used on any rom.. Hands Down. The best. It's awefully nice of you to put these out here for free when people charge for themes that aren't even 5% as good. Eyecandy is in a league of it's own. I will definitely spread the word. I've always been about open source and free software which is why I preach Linux and Android through and through, at work, home, to friends. I recently converted an iphone user to Android, He got an X2 on a prepaid plan. If only motorola would unlock the bootloaders. I don't think it's such a big deal now at least on the X, but the next phone I buy (just got my X in Feb, my first smartphone) will be easier to mod for sure. Probably HTC. I'll definitely do my homework first.

Beta Skin, Wallpapers, Splash Screen, Status Bar Icons vrtheme zip and PANDORA ADD-ONs
This is something ive been working on for some time know. The original theme concept comes from JimmyLee on IOS. here's his thread. You can find icons all over there.

Beta skin is very basic and contains only the wallpaper and some system images, no widgets are themed in the BETA.

Looks great man seriously different I like that maybe one small suggestion is the status bar clock color is a little bit in between the battery and notification colors I would make it the color of notifications and have the battery different color like it is as to attract attention to the battery since its the one thing besides color that is different in the status bar

Problem would be with this, if it's a skin, those aren't elements that can be included..the background can, but not battery or clock

Very sleek, really like the diagonal cutaway design here too. Reminds me of skelton watches and see-thru casings styling, which I love.
Like to see designs on the tray at the bottom, though tastes seemingly vary more on that UI aspect.
Would love to see this completed, awesome work as usual. :thumbup:

I'm sure he would theme the bottom but, its not possible... we don't have the tools to theme everything yet
Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm glad you all like it as much as I do. A lot of work has gone into this already. I wanted to do something different then everything else that I've done and this is turning into one of my favorites.
taskbar icons and clock are gonna be worked on sooner or later. well most roms have tweaks in them and you can change the battery and clock to whatever color you want, so I might not do anything to them. it is a skin right now but I plain on having add-on packs for root user's. I'll also have a link to all of the wallpapers that I have for this theme. I think I'm up to 20 different wallz so far.
as for the bottom nav bar, its out of my hands. when and if virtuous team releases the tools, it will change everything because this will turn into a 4.0 theme. I was holding out on doing the theme till then but they might decide not to release it at all. who knows.
there's still a lot I wanna do with this. I haven't decided if I wanna release a public beta yet. It might happen tho.
will this be comparable with Ineffabilis Deus v1.2? i have bought your other themes and one element that isnt themed is the "quick setting" button. it stays the same all the time. not really a deal breaker i was just wondering

That's because chingys quick settings were custom made and the images do not have the stock names so themes/skins do not replace them
I can probably fix that.

i fell in love with the simplicity of the Google Edition boot animations for the HTC One and GS4, so i decided to mod it for our Amaze. the beginning is a bit slow i think and i've tried to speed it up without messing it up but it might just be my phone boot animation is no longer slow at the beginning. let me know what you think. this is my first Boot Animation and first contribution made to xda/amaze so i hope you like.

They are not a flashable Zip file. I don't know how to make them. you will need to push it to:

/system/customize/resources and name it "TMOUS_bootanimation.zip"

Slow start on my phone too. but this is excellent. I think I'll use it for all my future ROMS. I hope some of the DEVs implement it too

Thanks to everyone who liked it. I actually fixed it and it's no longer slow. Its nice and smooth now . I'll update the OP tomorrow. ALSO made a holo blue one.
Since I used Youdug's holo boot animation mod to make our amaze one. I'm waiting for his approval to post it since he did the work on all the blue. If I don't hear from him soon I'll post it but I will credit him since he did an amazing job modding it.
I also have a surprise for all you kaioken ROM fans. Its just an idea I had and I'm not entirely sure how it will come out (hopefully awesome) but here's a sneak peek. No matter how it come out I'll post it. So even if it comes out ****ty, maybe someone with better animation skills can fix it or mod it further.

Hey guys if you don't mind I'll put this boot animation into Super Sense and eventually the rest of my roms as one of the many new aroma options I am adding. I will also give Brooklyn credit since he made it. It's going to be a huge update and at this rate it is probably going to end up as the HTC Amaze's most customizable rom EVER.
Since nobody has asked yet I am guessing they are too shy or they don't want the rest? If you want them you should speak up, don't worry I don't bite.
