Really?
But in that Korean website where JB update details were posted 2 weeks ago, I have seen it saying that you should update to JB only from ICS and never from GB.
Anyway I have migrated to 4.04 after reading that in the hope that it is going to be a very short wait for JB release.

hi all.
I flashed via odin the latest official 4.1.2 rom to my S3.
But when i open the keyboard symb 3/3 page i see this:

"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
In the other rom there were smileys like , etc....
What did i do wrong? CSC problem? i tried several languages (UK, US) but same error.
Please someone tell me whats the problem.
Thanks in advance!
Is normal like this. Maybe custom roms had smileys on 3rd page , but stock doesn't have. To access smileys press left soft key and insert smiley.

Sorry, i have to disagree. My stock 4.0.4 had smileys, and the test had 4.1.2 also. it disapeared when i flashed to official 4.1.2.
(but thanks for the hint about the left softkey feature )

Stock ICS firmware for Orange: http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&model=GT-I9100&pcode=ORA&os=1&type=1#firmware
Download whichever and flash via Odin by putting file in PDA section. There are many guides here on how to use Odin, refer here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13712988&postcount=2
If you download ICS v4.0.4 make sure to either flash a custom kernel like Siyah Kernel afterwards, DON'T wipe data or restore a backup through stock recovery or you will brick your device. Refer here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1756242
ICS v4.0.3 does not suffer from this, your pick.
Also, please refer here for future thread starting: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1763193

Well as I said flash an unbranded firmware ... thats it
With the first updates starting to roll out for the S23 series i know there will be people looking to get it before the OTA hits their phone. Here is a video guide on downloading current firmware with Frija and flashing with Odin! The guide can also apply to using Odin to restore or downgrade a device.

If you flash from a carrier version to U1 yes but you need to use patched Odin for that. Regular Odin won't change your CSC.

As long as your flashing an AT&T update. If you are looking to go to U1 from the AT&T U version you need patched Odin.
