Hello!
I have a Vibrant and I've been seeing "lag fixes"
What's this? My vibrant doesn't lag? And if I put this lag fix, what does it fix?
Sent from my Archos using XDA App
Some people complain about speed issues when opening apps, opening the market, and other tasks. These lag fixes aim to speed up those I/O issues. If you have no complaints than don't do a lag fix because they all can potentially cause other issues eventually.
Install quadrant standard from market and run it.if your score is above 2000 then u r ok.if not u should look into the lash fix issue.

Sorry I meant lag fix. Thanks to swype.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
If you do the quadrant test on your stock vibrant it will never be over 2000. You would be lucky to get over 1000. If your happy with your speed, stick to it. Wait until you install a bunch of apps or something and your lag is apparent.

Will it slow my phone down in any way if I apply it?

LOL, Sorry but that's just hilarious.
If you are happy with your phone, do NOT install a lag fix because it can possibly cause corruption which can dork up some apps. Android 2.2 should be out soon which will be a nice speed improvement.
well some apps lags so lagfix can fix it ^_^ it could jack you up if you dont know how to use it so be cautious always make a nandroid backup before doing anything
Are you the little troll who claimed to have a perfect sense rom and insulted a boatload of devs?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Well it's almost perfect and yea but I got a vibrant and no I'm not gonna troll anyone.

Sweet a new rom to flash :-D
I like the ROM so far... its clean and fast with a cm7 status bar look. Great start to a promising looking ROM... Keep it up
Looks like a solid ROM, nice work!

If benchmarks mean anything to you I have benched higher on this ROM than the other ones (This is OC to 1600)

Good work. I like your description of the vibrate icon. I was surprised that the other devs left it for as long as they did.
Does the stock Mms.apk work with the lock screen notifications?
and does the stock MMS fix pictures showing up as a video?
Been running for 1/2 a day now Everything is running crazy good.
Smooth, fast, no bugs, great battery life. REALLY good stuff
I am also a sucker for the animations you put in. LOVED them on my captivate and still do

If you want super fast, download Spare Parts and set window transitions and window animations to "fast"

@h8trift, have you done anything to effect data speeds? It feels more consistant than others. Maybe its just a good data day but its been really good today. Total speed it about the same just more consistant/smooth.

Push CM7's MMS.APK and you will get pictures showing up properly
(how is battery life compared to serendipity/Cm7?)
Wondering what type of performance everyone is getting with their LGOG.
Please post some performance tests if you have them, and include which ROM you running, etc.
I'll start with my AnTuTu benchmark score. Running SnowJB v1.1

the s4 is rumored to have the snapdragon 600 for u.s. version so if thats true then yes it'll be better than our LGOG.
these are my 2 benchmark scores that i did.
Just debloating and installing snowjb and it outran stock og.
Sent from my LG-E970 using xda app-developers app
Looks like even the s4 won't be much better.

I wonder if the difference is simply caused from the s4 being on jellybean

SnowJB ROM is JB...that's the rom the guy above ran his benchmark with.
Who cares what the benchmarks are. We ALL know this phone is the fastest on the market right now. Dont need tests to prove it or reassure ourselves.

If you don't like the conversation then don't comment in the thread. There was nothing wrong with this thread till you bring your negativeness into it.

Honestly I did the n4 conversion as you can see, this phone is amazing. I like the lg stock ROM but I'm a aosp guy. So the device alone tho is great, camera is not bad once you fix it.. And sound is good. All in all love it. Had the note 2 and s3 both great devices, but this is better. The screen alone is the best

Anybody know why benchmarks are much lower on the conversion phone? It certainly seems fast. I'm just curious.
What are the benchmarks on converted phones?

That's interesting. I don't know why and I am sure you probably won't notice a difference with daily usage such as emails, texts, browsing, etc.

Just curious as to why. On the GE ROMs I bench in the 13,XXX's.
The phone feels just as smooth and fast, and for that reason bemchs are starting to lose some cred with me

Realistically bench marks scores don't mean a whole lot, that's only to really test graphics and stuff won't really show ROM response or smoothness, lot of ppl don't rely on bench scores as there not very accurate most of the time

Im stumped i have been searching these roms for the past hour scanning through to see what the battery life is in the features but can't seem to find any does anyone have any suggestions? Right now Im on stock with around 2 hrs of battery life which is decent

JellyBeanSandwich = 4hours of on screen time.

You'll get nice gains with ROMs using dark modes available in settings or inverted gapps. I prefer the one click option in settings. May help narrow your search.

aaaaand again.
folks I have come to the conclusion that this CLASS OF PUNK is merely trolling. he has some simple issue for anybody else, yet it is pancreatic cancer to him. he has one of these issues almost every week, and I have responded every week. you will never get a response as to your suggestion helped or his issue being resolved.
from everything I gather, he is just making things as difficult as possible for himself. most of his issues could be resolved by him actually reading the Super Everything Thread. i dont think he wants to be helped.
I know this is a thread about helping people, not a thread about how many thanks you can get. but it is a courtesy to let people know that you issue was solved.
Dude i thanked the first guy who gave me a reply and alot of times when i don't respond is because i am working sorry for any convenience And as of now still i get little more battery juice the jellybamsandwich gave me around 3 hrs of battery juice so that's a plus sorry guys for not responding

I've been using straight CyanogenMod 10.2.2, hibernating all my apps in Greenify (app), set the cache to 4096k in SD-Booster (app), and use the "Ultimate" setting in Autokiller Memory Optimizer (app), and my battery life exceeds 24 hours.
Wow are you a heavy or average user? And I tried something new last night I odexed my apps and I can realise a major difference now with the speed I still gotta check back on the battery life though I just took it off the charge lol but I gotta good feeling bout this
