Hi. I just purchased a brand new I9305T 4G S3 for $950. I took it into a shop to get a sim card adapter, the idiot uses a plastic thing for it, when he pulls out the sim card. The gold pins go to and now I cannot read a sim card. On eBay there is a sim card reader replacement for a I9300 for $18 BUT I have a I9305 the 4G if I buy it will I Still get 4G service or not? The other matter of him breaking it is being dealt with. Please help as I'm very pissed off and don't want to be $900 down the drain.

Hey Guys, i'm a french poweruser / developer wanabe, and i'm trying to get an HTC amaze 4G. So basically i'm selling my Motorola DROID 3 to buy an amaze 4G, and the problem is, i'm having troubles getting someone to ship the phone to France. So, I'm here to get the as many offers as possible from people who would ship to france.
Here is what i'm looking for :
An HTC Amaze 4G, with no cracks on the screen, and an overall good shape
- I don't need the box
- I don't need the charger or the USB cable
- I don't need either the MicroSD card nor the SIM card
- I don't need it to be unlocked, but it would be a plus.
I'm ready to throw in up to 350$ on this, *shipping to france included*, and that's THE MORE I CAN PUT IN.
So i'd be thankfull to anyone who either sold his/her phone, or who gave me a link of where i can get one for that.
Thanks a lot,
~Sokini_

I am asking this question because I am very new to AT&T coming from Sprint where I never had to mess with sim cards. I just bought the note 2 and I had to get a new thinner sim card for it. I just put the original note back to stock. Should I remove the sim card before selling it?
Go a head but it really doesn't matter...the sim in your other phone won't work anymore since you changed to another sim. Just take it out and toss it in the trash.

Thanks for the info.
I just upgraded to the S4 and am selling my note. I know the Note has a larger SIM. If I were to sell it would the person have to get a new SIM card from AT&T?

It's recommended to get the right size sim card. At&t doesn't charge to replace them. There are cutters and inserts available. People even tape them in place but it always leads to problems. You could even botch up the sim port on the phone if not careful.

The sim is YOUR account information. It isn't transferred between subscribers.
Chances are the new owner will need to get an LTE sim to use the phone.
well hopefully someone will still buy it with the info given. Thanks for the answers
Is there a difference between the international n7100 and the verizon i605 screen replacements on eBay? Because I want OEM but only thing that shows up on eBay is the n7100 version.
Thanks

I know that there are differences in the bodies and the antennae so there may be a difference. I would buy a broken Note 2, or one with a bad IMEI, with a working screen and transplant it.
Also eBay isn't the best place to buy from, there are other cell part dealers around the web and I'm sure some of them would have the correct screen.

If it's just the glass then there shouldn't be any difference. And by the way, be VERY careful if you are going to replace the glass yourself. I tried it and ended up breaking my screen. Take your time and be gentle and hopefully you won't make a $200 mistake like me.

First off sorry if this is in the wrong section. Anyway I'm considering trading my phone through Craigslist for a Galaxy s5 plus cash and is there anything I should worry about? Like after switching out the sim cards and testing to see if the phone works when we meet do I have to worry about anything after that? Can he report the phone stolen even after the phone is activated on my account and if so is there anyway to avoid that?
