Speaker phone problems with voice mail. - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

What happens is when I open the voice mail app and press play, then press the speakerphone icon, I hear the voice mail loud for a millisecond then it goes so low I can hardly hear it. Can someone test and see if they have the same issue?
I have the same issue with stock voice mail and google voice mail.
The speaker works fine with YouTube and Facebook videos, playing music, and even tested the voice recorder app to record and play back my voice just fine.
I have already made sure the volume is raised all the way.

[Q] SMS notification sound not playing when using Music Player app

Self-explanatory.
For some reason, SMS notifications will not play or interrupt my music when I'm using the Music Player app. This is annoying to other people who may be trying to send me SMS, because I'm not knowing a message has arrived and thus don't immediately respond.
It was working last week. I don't know what changed to make it stop working now.
Edit: gmail notifications work fine. They drop the music volume, play the notification sound, then raise the volume back again. Incoming calls do the same thing.
Both of these also play through the loudspeaker, even if the headphones are connected... another problem which has no answer it seems.

BTmono trumps "voice talk"

I've seen complaints that some bluetooth functionality has been "hijacked" by Voice-Talk. I couldm't figure out how not remap or change that (without root-??), or maybe I didn't dig deep enough to solve the problem. A long-press on the bluetooth call button launches Voice Talk, and that was all you could do with it.
I've been unhappy with the inabilty to hear navigation instructions through my BT earpiece. I have an old loud convertible (top up) and can't hear the directions through the phone's rear speaker. I downloaded the BTmono app, and no more Voice Talk on long-press! It goes into the old pairing mode just like it did before GALAXY S2 took over.
The point is that with BTmono, I now can listen to navigation or music and phone calls seamlessly through my mono BT earpiece. If I want Voice Talk, I just launch it just like any other app, or double tap on the home button. It too comes through the earpiece. If I want to go back to the "long-press to launch Voice Talk", I just uninstall BTmono. Maybe this will help someone.

Pantech Burst Low Microphone volume in calls

Is there a way to increase the clarity and volume of voice during calls?
Pantech Burst with stock firmware ICS. Will installing CM10 fix it?
Using a MP3 voice recording app, it isn't bad. But during calls, the voice that's transferred over is terrible quality, static-y, and half the volume of a normal phone recording.
I have the same problem but I'm on stock 4.0.4. Microphone works fine if I use the voice recorder. However, on phone calls, my voice isn't picked up well (tested by recording outgoing message on my voice mail). I notice that if I cover the rear mic (don't know if that helps) and speak directly into the mic (which requires that I remove my ear from the speaker), my voice is picked up much better. However, this form of talking (where I can only hear or talk but not both at the same time) isn't practical in a conversation.

[Q] Microphone mute in phone/Skype but not other apps

I have a non-rooted Asus Zenfone 5 with recent OTA firmware. When I attempt a normal voice call or Skype call the microphone is muted i.e. I can hear the caller but they can't hear me.
Other microphone related activies such as Sound Recorder, Google voice search and Keep voice note work fine. Using a microphone headset doesn't make any difference.
I've searched through every setting imaginable and tried a few mute apps from Google Play and no luck.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Please make us an app that prevents the music from pausing when mic active

Hello. I'm using android phone and I want to use Google voice input to transcribe sound. I did open the audio book and open an text editor and from there I touched on the mic button of the Google voice input keyboard, but the problem is whenever I touch the mic, the music paused. Could you write for me an app that has one button that lock the music and prevent it from pausing when phone call or voice recognition because I want to see what they are saying because my English is not very good. We will use this to transcribe audio books and see what they are saying, sounds to text, not only from the voice on mic. Google translate application can do this a little but not very well because it stop to translate often and the sentences broken into chunks. I want to get Google type in the text editor from audio sound playing on speaker. Please help me a bit so I can transcribe the audio. I think this will not be a very big work. And please send me the link to the app when you make it.
Waiting for your news.
Thank you in advance.
