Thanks for your efforts, dude. Will give this a shot later and offer feedback. We always appreciate those willing to learn and build custom ROM's for us!
Edit: Word of advice, if you start getting a lot of activity pulling this down from your Dropbox account, they're going to block or disrupt it on you. You may want to look at another way to host the file. Again, just a heads up.
ROM added to the Optimus G Everything thread in General.
Thank you for sharing your work !
Edit: Flashed with no problems (TWRP) ... running smooth :good:

Off topic but since i know the answer I'll answer.
DSM is what the Mitsubishi eclipse and eagle talon were referred to. They used the 4g63 motor which held and still holds an incredible amount of power for a 4cy turbo. This is essentially the motor found in evo's (Mitsubishi lancer evolution)
Essentially Mr Dsm here is into cars, modding cars, and most likely street racing. As is boostedgsr or whatever his name is. 3 car people confirmed in the OG forums.. Yusssss!

Work on the LG E971? We don't have any custom ROMs. Only a ROM based on stock with I believe carrier apps removed. Really missing custom ROMs, and which is the reason why I'm not using this phone..
Edit: There's also AOKP and CM 10.1 I guess, but not my type of ROM to use because they still feel very beta to me.

Hello,
I want to share my experience of modding and theming of my I5500.
Firstly I slimmed the official packages of CM7 and GApps by reducing to its barebones.
Downloaded CronMod's Int2Ext and Fly-On-Mod and changed the priorities of the init.d tweaks.
Finally installed these ROM's and MOD's and themed with themes from Team MattedBlues for best look.
I'm sure your phone runs at its best!!! !! !
Good Luck.

Yes, Matted Blue theme is great! Unfortunately it seems to be actually discontinued..
I suggest you to also try Simplex - today my preferred one! Never tried on G5 'cause I'm using an S3 and a Nexus 7 most of times..
Finally, if you use this device you should also create an account at MadTeam forum, much more discussions, users and developers..

Booted for me using 1.50 Jbear Hboot
Booted on 1.04 and 1.5858 for me. The following is my observations and thoughts.
This is lightly tweaked/modded ROM. Does not have expanded reboot options, some of sense bloat still in rom. Besides the adw launcher it runs and acts like a stock ROM. Like the op g'zone has display issues on main menu. Now on my phone compass did not work even after calibration.
Personally I think it could use some visual changes (theme), would remove nofrills in favor of kernel tuned (control both cores independently), finish removing sense bloat, add reboot options and a good kernel.
All in all it is a good start. I am guessing future releases will be greatly improved. Keep up the hard work!!

Issue tracker and kernel
We are experiencing some lag and freezing in the current kernel release of version 2 throught the day. The stock kernel seems more fast and stable. We will be testing other kernels today for another update. If you are testing, please try other compatible kernels if you like and post your results. The objective is complete stability and speed. Keep in mind even though this rom is de-sensed, it seems the only compatible kernels so far is the sense ICS versions such as Mirage 3.097 found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2175191
Thank you and enjoy
UPDATE! ----> The Mirage Kernel mentioned above seems best so far! I will provide an update tonight again with the winning kernel
I'm really liking the ROM so far but why am I still getting Radio Interface Resource Shortage errors? I thought Virgin Mobile fixed that????
EDIT: After using this ROM for a day now I"M REALLY LIKING IT! Great job! Some stuff I have noticed, though, is where can I get a VVM app? Also I noticed it seems to hang when I either shut down or restart and have to pull the battery.
