The google wallet one would be very nice

messaging I found in the JellyBean rom btw, hopefully that will become a trend, the stock TW one blows ass.

There is a mod in the general section of this forum for the wallet, it took a while for me to get it set up following the directions exactly but it worked perfect afterwards. Running clean rom4.05

I doubt the Google wallet will work because when you restore your build props, it would put the GS3 build props and you would probably soft brick.

hell I wish I could just find the guide to get aosp messaging working working on tw ( it exists, I just can't find it now)

I believe asop mms iS working in Beans 7 build. Its an option in aroma right?

It is, and beautifully. Would be nice to have it for CR Ace though.

Nandroid, wipe cache and flash it. It may work
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app

flash what?

The gs3 MMS mod. It looks just to be an apk and flashing it would just put it in system apps. Nan droid before flashing it just in case. Wipe cache and dal Vick cache as well
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app

no it modifies the framework2 file as well as sectelephony.apk if i remember correctly.

Accidentally hit thanks.
If you don't know what the inverted version is, then you're not using it. The colors are swapped; whites are blacks. I don't even know if YouTube is included in the standard GApps package.
Yup not using it. Just like to say thanks an hope to be a pro like the rest of you.

Try flashing a different gapps. Inverted gapps, or installing from play store.
If all 3 are borked then you got something.
jelly aokp, inverted gapps, 200dpi. No issues.

Do you must flash that rom? From my experience, I think touch wiz IU looks lot smoother and vibrant....

I'm not sure of any apps that are like S Note, but, I will also say that Beans Build 3 is awesome. Gets the feel of CM or Asop but still keeps all the S Pen features intact. I'm also a very big CM/Asop fan but I've been running Beans since I got my Note. Awesome. Plus I've heard there are still a few kinks to work out with CM.

Straight Talk and Jellybean???

I was wondering if anybody's running jellybean with straight talk? I heard there was signal issues?? Anyway thanks in advance for all the tips.

I am using straight talk and I am rooted with liquid smooth JB RC8 rom and I have no signal issues at all. My phone mostly says H+ most of the time for the internet. I don't know how true that is but my internet speed is awesome for me most of the time.

Was just the ROM you put on it or did you have to flash other stuff to make it run smooth? Does it come with Google apps?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda app-developers app
I flashed the RC8 with a h0tcakes kernel and used Google jb 4.2 apps. It runs awesome. The kernel let's me over clock to 1836 but I keep it around 1700. Google now works and I have no problems. I also learned that touchwiz uses a lot of ram because as soon as I got rid of it I have around 250mb of ram free. When I I had the stock rom I usually had around 100.

I'm on Straight talk with JB, and have had zero problems now that Jamie's 4.2.1 rom has been released http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2141236
Just change your APN to straight talk and you're good.

Honestly...read read read. This way if something eff's up you'll know how to fix it. But root the phone install the necessary gapps and then download rom manager and goo. im from the play store. Those will help you find kernels and gapps. But basically you install the gapps through recovery same as the rom. I'm not good at explaining it Lol. But go to the original dev forum and the liquidsmooth rc8 thread tells you the steps.
