I suppose your apk itself got corrupted somehow.
May be you can search on the net for that version of apk and download it from some of the websites that allows you to download apk directly rather than from Google Play.

Hi,
I am using HyDrOG3N rom which I find it awesome, but on Play Store I got some country restrictions and compatibility issues so I need a modded Play Store to bypass these restrictions.
I found ModPack made by fOmey in HyDrOG3N topic and it had a modified store, but after I installed it I still have the same market with no modifications.
Did I miss something?

When I get a modded .apk file, I can't replace the original one because it is a read-only folder, how to fix that?
I also used Market enabler, it showed all apps OK but I can't download the ones which were not available in my country in the first place, it shows "not available in my country".

Then try redownloading the apk file. Maybe download is corrupt or something.
And if possible, use google play
Astro is just root explorer that can be used to explore root files. It doesnt have anything regarding installation of APKs (apps) unless they have to be thrown directly into FS.
I tried to redownload, I also downloaded from another mirror...
I can't download from the store because what I'm trying to install is a full cracked version...
I guess something in ICS doesn't allow the installation of these kinds of APKs...

You got some balls to ask this kind of question here on XDA
Hello,
So I've downloaded the black themed play store, was so excited when I flashed it. But now I want the original play store back! I have a back up of the original play store but once I install it, the app wont be installed because its a different signature..Any Suggestions?
Try removing the Play Store apk you have installed (with titanium or something like that) then install your backup apk.
I deleted my original playstore. How to restore it.

Hi, a few days back, i deleted my backed up playstore. How could I restore the orignal playstore. I mean, the first version which would automatically update itself later on. Could anybody attach the oldest version here ?

I guess i didnt mention it correctly. I installed the latest market apk n pushed it as system app. So, since the base apk is the new one, thr wont b any option to uninstall updates. But I need that thing, so could anybody upload the version of the market that comes up with note2 stock. Without updates.

I still have that problem, however i have deleted the "cracked app" and replaced it with the original PlayStore. Is it possible to get the original play store back (the play store that updates itself.)

I've used freedom for a couple of apps, and it worked. I haven't had any luck with Lucky Patcher. I am new to Android (coming from 10 years on iOS) so maybe someone else will chime in.
Use Lucky Patcher
None worked for me....
Can someone please guide me...
Install Freedom then (in app) push start and stop. Google play should work now.
Where can i get the latest freedom apk???

When I try to install an app it says app not installed. I have tried signing the app, changing the version number and can't get it to work. I have tried installing apks I have downloaded and patched apks from lucky patcher and nothing works. So is there something that doesn't allow the phone to install modified apps?
I can't install samsung keyboard apk on my samsung galaxy s9+
Are you trying to install a new version of an apk that's already on your phone? If so, can you uninstall the older version first?
it is Android 8.0 security features. Google removed install unknown source. You need to give specific permission to file browsers or apps that does the install - for example, if you have app, copy to your phone, and open Samsung File, and click to install.

Yeah I did that to allow installs from Samsung file browser and lucky patcher but still not installing. It let's me push the install button and starts the process then says app not installed. I made sure that the previous version is not installed and reset the phone but still not working
Yeah I have allowed installs from the apps I am using to try to install and there isn't a previous version on the phone I made sure to uninstall the app and restart the phone after and still not allowing the install. It starts the install then says app not installed

the app you trying to install, unmodified one, go apkmirror.com and search for it, it should list different version, some apps has arm and arm64 version, download it to your phone, and install it.
your s9/s9+ are arm64

Emm nobody?
Samsung blocked sideloading most of it's system apps. Nothing you can really do about it.
Replace app with tutuapp
Your Android application may not be suitable for them. What you need to do now is:
Try updating Android, otherwise you go to the store by reinstalling your device, but this is very time consuming and costly. You can also use tutuapp android (visit tutuappplus.net to download) this free app store that helps me use great apps for Android.
