Hello everyone,
I'm currently on the stock rooted rom and there is something that's bothering me. When I record a video(I'm using full hd 1080p version), the camera isalways trying to make the focus even when it's already in focus.
I've tried to find a setting like auto-focus but I can't see it. Does anybody else is having the same issue?

Hello all,
I recently loaded a debloated rom (found here on the website) and noticed that when I video chat, I cannot switch to my rear camera.
Did they take away that option?
Or could it be caused by that FCC "fix" that was posted when everyone was trying to fix the video chat from being sideways?
can anyone tell me if their camera, when using gtalk has the option to switch to the rear camera?
Did u find your answer? I haven't used gtalk but both cameras work fine on other programs I use..

I have installed android on my HTC HD Mini, works great!
But, I have an issue with the camcorder. I can't start recording a movie; the phone says that I have to use the optical trackball but there isn't any on this device. When I want to take a picture I can hold the "auto focus square" but that doest work for video's. The other camcorder apps in the market generate an error when I want to record someting. Does anyone know a solution for this? Thanks!
Hi everyone, been lurking here for a while and decided to finally register but I'm having a weird problem with 4.2 camera. Everything works perfect except the video recording. It'll record the sound but when I try to play it it looks like this (I been searching for a few hours now and can't find a soulution other than dead links)
and if I lower the resolution to 720 or sd it says Cannot play video. Any idea of what I'm doing wrong or what I can do to fix this? I had the slimbean and had it working but now on cm10 its not. :crying: does anyone have 4.2 camera working on cm10? Thanks in advance.
Hello! I recently flashed CM 10.2.1 onto my Galaxy S3 (verizon), and overall I'm completely satisfied with the results. However, I'm no longer able to use the front-facing camera on any third-party apps (facebook, instagram, etc). When I try taking a picture with the front camera, it causes the phone to reboot itself. I've noticed that if I'm using the stock camera from CM 10.2, the front cam works perfectly fine. Yet, when I try using Instagram, Skype, or Camera Zoom FX, the phone is always forced to reboot once I try taking a picture. I was wondering if anyone has ever found a fix for this? Thanks in advance to anyone thay can help shed some light on my issue!

If our phone is capable of then it should be yes. I have tried this ROM. Uses aosp camera app. Never tried video recorder though. Sorry
